  1. For me Talk Chelsea is a relaxed and friendly site. I had problems logging in to the CFC net forum and they took ages to respond to my requests to look intto why I couldn't log in, by that time I'd lost interest in the site.
  2. There is only one place for us to win it and that's at Stamford Bridge our home.
  3. It's the best feeling in the world, I just hope that we can continue and still be top at the end of the season :champions: Gotta go to bed now, up at 6
  4. Just got back from the match and I have to say that I found it uncomfortable to watch, we seemed to make silly errors, losing possesion of the ball amongst other things. Yuri is my man of the match and I hope his head is OK. At the end of the day it's a win and we've bagged ourselves another 3 points and WE ARE TOP OF THE LEAGUE AND HAVING A LAUGH!! :blue scalf:
  5. Welcome to Talk Chelsea :blue scalf:
  6. Just tried to book the coach and nothing about it on the Thomas Cook website, what's the point of that? Clearly says on the official Chelsea site to click on the link for Thomas Cook to book and there's nothing on there about the trip. FFS
  7. Think they just trust that you haven't got anything, but you never know particularly if they are providing extra coaches, you might get someone that wants check everyone before boarding The do say that if you are caught with any alcohol, that they will drop you off at the furthest point from home. One of the stewards said to me for the Villa Game, got any alcohol, I said no and he said Why Not Don't think they like it if you're drunk either.
  8. Welcome to Talk Chelsea :blue scalf: Tell us a bit about yourself, don't be shy...
  9. Yes they're OK, depends on how you are with sitting for long periods of time. Of course you're not alowed any alcohol on board. They'll stop for about 40 minutes to an hour at a Service Station on route. They usually show a Chelsea video and you get to do a quiz. Get to the ground about an hour / hour and a half before kickoff, so still time to get a drink or 2.
  10. The only one that I can see that gets you in time before Kickoff leaves London at 5.50 and takes 6 hours 47 minutes, but you have 2 change twice. 05:50 London Euston [EUS] Liverpool Lime Street [LIV] 12:37 6h 47m 2 closeChange informationTravel by Leaving From To Arriving 05:50 London Euston [EUS] Northampton [NMP] 08:33 09:30 Northampton [NMP] Rugby [RUG] 10:21 10:35 Rugby [RUG] Liverpool Lime Street [LIV] 12:37 Better off getting the coach really, another early start. Hope they pile on plenty of coaches knowing that there are no direct trains. It would have really helped if the kidkoff being at 3.
  11. Just been texted by a mate to say that there will probably be more tickets for Chelsea, so am hoping that will mean some for members. They played an absolute blinder today, didn't think it would happen. I was on the edge of my seat throughout. Looking forward to the final, and cannot wait. :blue scalf:
  12. Should be an easy game I would have thought, would love a repeat of 4-0 like we scored against them in the Carling cup
  13. Thanks, I guess we just got to be patient, but I agree I wish they would hurry up.
  14. Here's something I meant to ask about yesterday. There were a group of lads behind me who started a chant which had Edgware Road amongst the words, can't remember the exact words, but they kept referring to Edgware Road. Not really sure what the the meaning behind this was? I'm also curious as to why we chanted USA at the Manure game last week?
  15. What is the holdup do you think with the tickets for Liverpool away? Supposed to have gone on sale last week to ST Holders and tomorrow for members.
  16. Wouldn't count on it, going from what I understand happened last year, but hey on the other hand I suppose there could be a chance that members might get a look in if they make more tickets available for both clubs. Just being prepared to spend an afternoon in a good pub to watch it and get pissed.
  17. Back from the match, and do you know what WE'RE IN THE FINAL. I had a feeling that the lads would pull something out of the bag for the second half. My seat wasn't as bad as I thought, I could acutally see the players, they weren't like ants like for the Community Shield. Atmosphere in the second half good, especially after the first goal, with lumps of celery making an appearence. Felt moved in the way we all joined in the singing as we left the stadium, then a kind of silence as walked towards the tube, then a sudden burst of singing again in unison as we entered the tube station. Now all I need is to find a decent pub where I can go to wearing my colours to watch the final :blue scalf:
  18. Don't think this will be easy, as both teams will be up for a place in the final. If we make it to the final, It'll be our second year in a row and so the moativation will be there for us to do well. Looking at their records the last time they made it to the final, was in 2000 which of course was against us which we won 1-0 and the last time they won the FA Cup was in 1957. I think they are a dangerous team, but as long as we hold our nerve I'm sure we can make it to our second final in 2 years and hopefully we'll be singing 'When John went up to lift the FA Cup we were there, we where there'.
  19. Cheers guys for all your comments, you're too kind. I din't think it was that cold, I tell you I felt colder at 3 o'clock in the morning after it pouring down while walking to get my bus to SB. Thank god for the Chelsea Hotel, at least we were alowed to sit in the lobby for a bit when I got there at 4am, rather than stand about outside waiting for the coach. I still can't believe it's a year, it's gone really fast and it's not over yet. It would really make my year for us to win the double. C'mon You Blues! :blue scalf:
  20. Busy weekend, went to the match yesterday. Today up to my local church to play keyboard for a 9.30 Easter Day Service, then of to another service in the afternoon. Day of rest hopefully tomorrow and am definitely looking forward to a lie in.
  21. I was quite near the front, which was fantastic, and wasn't expecting to be near the pitch. I was expecting to be up high like for the away leg at Milan as someone queuing up at the box office said the away fans were up in the gods, clearly wrong. Missed the hilights on MOTD as my television was playing up, lol.
  22. Yes it was a good away day and has made my Easter us winning. I was near the front, and I turned round and saw these sticks of Celery flying through the air, just brilliant.
  23. A belated Happy Birthday Alex, I hope you had a good one.
