lol haha -
I suppose but it was still a ridiculous amount of money to offer.
-
big difference in the money we where spending compared to them.

I think drogba will start to for this game, apprently he is fully fit so lets hope he shows some heart. I would also like to see stoch atleast get 30 minutes of game time i think this kid has the abilty to break ipswich to peices.
-
Im worried about this if roman get offered enough money i think he might take it. As much as i dont want to see him go because he has been there for us through thick and thin, there is the possibilty that he might just say yes if he is offered enough. Lets just say that we where to get new owners i do not want to turn out like man city and just start trying to buy the best players around with ridiculous amounts of money.

Anelka predicts all three English sides to go through.
Steve replied to SempreJuve's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Personally i would like to see inter beat united, for the main reason that i think they are our biggest threat in this competition and i believe if we get past juve we can go the whole way. But i am also very wary about barcelona who are currently in great form and could potentially win both leagues. -
Welcome to Talkchelsea Mate Im sure you will learn alot about the club here.

Welcome to TalkChelsea little cousin

Myself i would have to go with Stoch, don't get me wrong Sinclair is a great asset to our team as well but when Stoch came onto the pitch on the weekend he basically changed the game, for a young kid to have the impact he did on the game he has got a good future with the club.

WOW i feel his pain, i mean literally, tonight playing indoor football i dislocated my knee again for the second time in two years, its the worst pain ever. The funny thing was my little sister was watching and she is a mad Chelsea fan too and she reckons i made the same expression that joey did lol and when i did it all i thought about was joe. I feel so sorry for him i feel he was getting back to his best but just not getting the amount of game time needed to get to that standard that we all know he has got deep down in him, lets all hope he bounces back again.

EXCLUSIVE: Chelsea keeper Cudicini moves across town to Spurs in £1million deal Tottenham have clinched the signing of Chelsea’s Carlo Cudicini for around £1 million. Manager Harry Redknapp moved for the 35-year-old Italian after growing concerned about his goalkeepers. First-choice Heurelho Gomes has been playing through injury and Cesar Sanchez, who is deemed sub-standard, has been allowed to join Valencia until the end of the season. Gomes has adapted to the Premier League after an initially disastrous switch from PSV last summer, but Cudicini will provide stiff competition for the Brazilian after finally stepping out of the shadows at Stamford Bridge. Cudicini, whose Chelsea contract ends in the summer, moved to the club 10 years ago but he has been second choice to Petr Cech since the Czech arrived in 2004. He has only made 25 League starts in the last five seasons and has been frustrated at his place in the Chelsea pecking order. DailyMail Apparently he will be leaving for spurs tomorrow, its going to be so sad to see carlo go but if he is going to get first team football than i think it is best for him but to spurs i do not agree.

Frank Lampard Hails 400th Chelsea Appearance Frank Lampard insists that he's a role model for the Chelsea youth and has hailed his 'special' bond with Scolari. Frank Lampard left it late on Saturday to make his 400th Chelsea appearance a special one, slamming home the winner against Stoke City during an injury time scramble. Rory Delap's opener had given the visiting Potters a lead to defend and hoards of Blues fans had already left Stamford Bridge before the comeback was sparked by Juliano Belletti's header. In the aftermath of the escape, influential midfielder Lampard hailed his landmark appearance tally, under-fire boss Luiz Felipe Scolari and hinted that the last-gasp win could rekindle the Blues' title fire. He told the club's official website: "This club has become my life; it has been seven, eight years, now. I wouldn't have believed I'd have done that when I came here [from West Ham United]. I didn't realise I was 400 games old and hopefully I have a lot more in me again. "A lot of the young players coming through need to see that attitude because they don't understand what it takes to get to the top. People like me and John [Terry] came through and worked hard to get here, and they need to see that." Asked about the recent turmoil surrounding the club and the uncertain future faced by boss Scolari, Lamps continued: "The manager is a very good man and has been a very successful manager for a long time. Hopefully that success is going to come here, too. "The last month has been difficult. We are having countless chances and 'keepers are pulling off great saves. "I've always had special bonds and it's the same with Scolari." Hoping that the comeback win will be a watershed for the faltering Pensioners, Lampard added: "This could be a turning point as long as we follow through with it and become a bit more ruthless in front of goal." Scolari Hails Chelsea's Lampard As Best In World Frank Lampard popped up to spare the Blues' blushes - and Chelsea boss Luiz Felipe Scolari was quick to hail his midfielder... Chelsea's domination of Stoke City did not translate to the scoreline until the last ten minutes. The Potters got themselves a shock lead courtesy of a Rory Delap finish, but the Blues refused to accept defeat, got themselves level at the death of the game through Belletti, and Frank Lampard secured the winner in stoppage time from an outside-the-box lash. Lampard was the stand-in captain for the day as John Terry pulled up injured in the warm-up, and he celebrated his 400th Chelsea appearance with maximum points. Luiz Felipe Scolari claimed that if he was ever a national manager again, he would vote Frank Lampard as the best player in the world; a statement that former manager Jose Mourinho verbalised on multiple occasions during his days in charge of the Stamford Bridge squad. "Frank is a part of the history of Chelsea," Scolari is quoted by Sport as saying. "Today was his 400th appearance. I think his family will remember for life this goal in the last minute. He's a man who is fantastic. "If one day, maybe after two or three years, I go back to a national team and have a chance to vote for the best player in the world I will vote for Lampard. "He's not only a player, he's a man. He likes his job, he likes to play. Every day what you need he gives to you. Before I had pressure, now I don't have pressure thanks to him." The win ensured that Chelsea would not suffer back-to-back defeats following their 3-0 loss to League champions Manchester United. "It's important to win because we win three points. We showed spirit and heart and tried to draw, tried to win. I think the group today it's more together than before. And that's important. "It's the first time this year that we've scored in the last minute, although we've conceded some. After that every player was together." He continued: "They came to celebrate but they didn't come just to me. I was the first man in front but they came because all of us are in this position, all of the players, all of the staff. Today they started to change their mentality, it's better." Regarding the injury to John Terry, he added: "John felt his back before the game. "The doctor tried to get him ready but it was impossible. It's a problem with his back and I think it's normal when you have this. In two or three days he'll be ready." Goal He should of got the crown of World player of the year 3 seasons ago imo.
