  1. Looks so pointless as what was said earlier. Voice recognition is no where near perfect and they will have problems with different peoples accents and so on. Pointless product that will more than likely fail.
  2. Happy Birthday mate Hope you have a good day and enjoy those Vegemite chips Spike got you!!
  3. Wow, Messi tearing them apart. Makes me proud of our boys for stopping this little bitch.
  4. Barca are running all over Milan early.
  5. What ever you do. Do not buy the ram upgrade online because quite frankly they're taking the piss with those prices. The ssd they provice are still quite good. I may have some spare ram sitting around at work that I might be able to send up to you for free. I'll check out work and let you know.
  6. Haha don't scare him It's easy as mate. You won't have a problem!!
  7. It's pretty straight forward with the pro's you just got to undo a few screws underneath and it's a standard 2'5" hard drive in place. Only thing is you will need to transfer across the operating system. So if you can't be bothers fucking around with it maybe just order it online with the ssd pre installed and just do the ram yourself.
  8. There is too many too tell mate. I fight with customers a lot because I don't take shit from them because they think they can bully us sales people haha. Spike I use this SSD in my desktop and it's really good - http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=210_902_909&products_id=19276
  9. Perfect man. Just do that, go in and say you don't know my information off the top of your head but I can get it if they need it. They should just match it but yeah I would just update the ram and SSD youself. It will save you money. For example something like this: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B009NHAEXE
  10. I work at JB HI FI. Just go into the Brisbane store and tell him that your cousin works at a store in Victoria. He said you will be able to match the student price for me. If they say they want to call me shoot me a message on here and i'll give you my work info so they can look me up.
  11. With student price it will drop too around $1229 for the computer. Plus upgrade the ram yourself for around $30 (really easy to do). The SSD buy online, 256gb Samsung for $129.
  12. $169.00 for home and student and yes you can just pirate it! ($129 with my discount ) It's for the app store as they said earlier which is a load of shit to be honest. But you could just buy a few decent apps for your comp with it.
  13. You still get up too 10 percent off plus the give voucher.
  14. They still do here in Australia. Have to price match it all the time
  15. Yes they will give you 10% off depending on which uni you're at. But if you do a custom build they might not depending on the parts. Also you may not need the i7 unless you intend on doing video editing. It won't really help much for basic use but anything with rendering involved it will be handy. For example if you use flash and a file is rendering the i7 will help alot. Something for you too consider. If you want to put a bigger ssd, just buy it separately and put it in yourself, then buy an external case and put in the hard drive from the mac into the case. I might be able to get you discount on stuff but you will have to say you know someone who works in vic and they sent me in and they will give you discount.
  16. See that's where you need connections. I payed 1300 for my alienware and it shits over any $2500 mac. Also I agree so do I and the only reason I got an alienware is because I might be heading back overseas and I don't want to leave behind my gaming haha. I have used it once for gaming since I got it but I am glad I have the option to do so.
  17. Also get the 15" and get the quad core i7 not the dual core.
  18. I sell these macs every day of the week Spike, before you buy anything let me know how much you're paying and I'll get you prices from work.
  19. Get an Alienware like myself! If you want a macbook pro with an ssd you can either get them to factory build one for you with it or do what I did. Remove the dvd drive out of it and get a device called a omni bay in which you can insert another hard drive. That's where I put my SSD and yeah I was running a 7200rpm HDD and a Intel SSD. Made it super quick have two good hard drives but if you want to game i would forget about it. Also if you're doing programming check with your uni what you can and can't use as I know for my course I couldn't really use my mac and it was not transferable for programming and it fucked everything up.
  20. I personally love it. I had it this morning on toast for Breakfast
