Hazard is way better player than Griezmann. I fear that if whenever we sell Hazard we'll waste 100m on Griezmann straight away. I hope that Costa-Griezmann is the only link in transfers and NOT Hazard-Griezmann.

I think we'd be right up there. The main reason is Conte. We just have to secure CL football to start dreaming about it. But I'm not too sure Veratti is that keen to leave, he renewed his contract with PSG twice this year, the recent one happened just a month ago. Unless he receives a pay rise once he threatens to leave. Funny thing that Kante + Veratti is the smallest midfield duo yet I doubt they couldn't cope with physicallity. Seriously I could read that we've signed one of the best left-backs in the world with serious offensive proficiency, reliable and with cool head under pressure and well we had that guy in Filipe but at the end it doesn't matter as he didn't have the trust from the manager. If Conte puts his trust into Alonso then it's better situation than with whatever left-back we could have signed.

We already have 8 defenders. More than I can remember in recent times for a season with no European football. Someone will be very marginalised and unhappy. Plus once Antonio finds the right combination in defence he won't rotate at all I think.

Lots of talk that Torino finally give up and agree to sell Maksimovic to Napoli. For over a month there was a story that Napoli only hold on Koulibaly until they sign a replacement. That was the only stumbling block. They also are close to sign Caceres. I wonder if that apparent offer for DL isn't reminder to Napoli that we still have money to spend and can spend it elsewhere. We're signing Kolarov, lol, he looks like an owner of lovely left-foot, anyone who can strike the ball so sweetly at free kicks has a gift, tall so i wonder why he wasn't on the radar last year when Jose made a point that he looks for centimetres in full-backs, likes to buldozing his way through like Iva. I can only hope that he knows how to get back to his position, doesn't have brainfarts and doesn't commit too early in 1on1s. And the most important thing, doesn't panic at earliest pressure, knows how to keep the ball and can play from the back, that's what I ask for.
