Jesus Cole was VERY dangerous all game to me, I think there was a 15 minute period in the game where the team wasn't going at it as much though. Carlo made the right sub though to bring on Sturridge, not that Danny did much but allowed Anelka to change up his game abit more and it worked in the end lol, glad we got the result!

Midfield does indeed look thin, I believe Matic could handle the game too in the dmf role, he's really technically gifted and can distribute a ball well, not afraid to get stuck in either Burnley haven't scored or got a point since Coyle left so hopefully that run will continue. It really annoys me all this negotiation crap. Carlo even said nobody has a guarantee'd spot in the side neway, obv there are arguables like JT lamps etc and they deserve to be there as mentioned above, Cole has the abiity to be like those members of the squad but at the moment definately isn't performing at that same level we know he's capable of. With formation changes and such with his position there's more competition too, I think it's just come at the wrong time.

Sturridge isn't injured either Haven't heard about Kalou we don't have an injury crisis, Arsenal always have about 5 - 7 players out and they don't talk about crisis' as much do they bloody hell. I would say that firstly Ess deserves a rest and if Ballack needs a rest too, Ess / Deco can fill the roles and then Mikel slots in really. I think Mikel will score this season! he was really on the ball at the start of the season until his injury
