Switching to ANY other brand other than Nike will symbolise the decline of this club, like leaving Adidas did for liverpool. As I said, 'marketing 101'/'branding 101', having the status symbol of Nike or Adidas in European football is paramount for our 'top club' image.

Who cares what Under Armour are doing in the USA. In European football, if you're not adidas or nike you're not a big club. Simple.As.That. The power of the Nike 'the brand' is worth more to us than a few extra million on a contract.

That's fine for me, imagine City missing out on Champions league football for Pep's first season!, it would be hilarious and great for us.

Loving this season thanks to Leicester, if you're not a football fan you're not a Chelsea fan, without the game itself Chelsea is just a brand.. a business. And if you're a football fan there is nothing not to love about the Leicester story...
