  1. Last seasons home shirt was the best Samsung shirt, as an 'all-rounder'. The gold one was too much of a gimmick and the rest have minor issues, but last years was perfect.
  2. Not so sure about that, especially after all the investment in the youth setup, and our last CL game was meaningless. I also found it strange how Jose spoke about how Loftus-Cheek owes him a bottle of wine now; 'he was joking', but it speaks volumes for how the natural integration of youth into the side is non-existent.
  3. If City slip up (unlikely) we might pull off the title mathematically before the end of the season, there's hope for the youth then.
  4. Opportunities for youths to start games will run thin after this and the FA Cup fixture, no excuses tonight.
  5. PSG have been built for the Champions league, it's simply not in the script for them to keep falling this early; we will really need to be at the races for this one. Typical how we top the group and get PSG, Arsenal finish 2nd and get a walk in the park fixture..
  6. With Mignolet's future in doubt, you have to wonder if Liverpool will go after Cech.
  7. Ash was young and reckless in his Arsenal days. He could have gone to Liverpool out of spite but he decided to at least leave one bridge unburnt, especially now he's a Chelsea legend. John Terry's agent knew that contract in 2009 was JT's last big pay day so pushed it as far as he could, simple as that. Also, at 28 years old Terry could have been at City for 7 years, similar to Cole's reign here so. Lampard knew he was a symbol of the club, and lapped it up; once you do that.. you can't behave like the average joe. This isn't Burger King, he wasn't an 'employee', he was Frank-fucking-Lampard.. the personification of Chelsea football club.
  8. Not to a direct competitive rival he wouldn't. Wow, the counter-arguments for this are the weakest I've come across in Talk Chelsea history, too easy..
  9. He played the role and acted the part, never shied away from the status; he lapped it up.
  10. No, Mourinho isn't on that level. Lampard & John Terry are the two biggest icons in Chelsea history, Osgood etc were not around for the commercial era.
  11. He will be a City legend if they win the league, he single handedly got the 3 points today, took 2 VITAL points from us etc.
  12. When you're the personification and symbol of a club like Totti for Roma, you can't behave in the same manner as the average footballer.
  13. Solanke is a better option for us as 4th choice.
  14. Just think how awkward it would be in the dressing room too, such a sad situation really; his ego hasn't been bruised.. it's been assassinated.
  15. Yes, because football is that simple isn't it. Genius.
  16. They are one step closer to Lamps lifting the CL in light blue, it doesn't mean they will win it, but it's still unsettling.
  17. Roma haven't gone past the round of 16 since 2008.
  18. Roma are massive flops in the CL, you can never rely on them for anything; shocking club.
  19. Impressed by his strength/presence on the ball. You have to wonder if Mourinho actually knows about him, it made more sense to start the guy and take him off if Sporting started to test us.
  20. Never understood the point in bringing a youth on in the 86th minute, it's just pointless.
  21. It wouldn't even be an issue if Jose wasn't teasing us with the idea of blooding them through.
