^ Being a CL club is always a major factor for top players transferring elsewhere. With our place in jeopardy for next season, it's pretty clear we need to treat january like it was the summer window.

Tbf, in my first ever season I won the league, with even bigger competition with the tactically astute UpTheChels. You had too many older players, if your average team age is over 26/29 they will suffer performance reductions. Your teams average age is 32.. which is insane.

I was somewhat focusing on the AVB/Jose appointment similarities to delve deeper into Scolari. Courtios has potential fees rising up to £13m, you don't spend that amount of money to merely keep Cech on his toes. It was a calculated move by the club, they learned from the previous cycle. That and the fact Christophe Lollichon (Goalkeeper coach) told Courtios that Cech's long term future at the club was in doubt. Either way, we should give the club the benefit of the doubt for this one. Replacing J.
