In terms of goals, Lukaku is having a better first (proper) season in the Premier League than Didier Drogba did. Now if all we want to look at is birth certificates and then set an arbitrary age for when a player is ready, or for the best average age of a squad then that's fine. But the most important question is this - is he ready? Will he make our squad better?

I might have thought like that a month or so ago, but we've shown we've been able to cope alright with the extra games and ultimately football is about winning cups. So long as we continue to manage the players as we have then why would we not want to continue our run? In fact look at Torres - he had a good game on Thursday and then carried that form into the Sunderland game where he became the difference maker.

Is that an honest opinion or are you simply on the wind-up again? Are you, Bushman and Rupert 'related'?

Why would we change to 433? Mourinho has been playing 4231 at Madrid hasn't he? Shouldn't we be asking what formation better suits players like Mata rather than players like Lamps or Mikel?
