  1. Picking up a point away to Spurs and United when we're still building a team is a pretty nice start in all honesty, especially when you look at a team like City losing at Cardiff and Villa. I seem to be writing this in every post now but some people need to be a bit more patient with the development of this team, and a little bit more realistic with what they expect from Jose and his team.
  2. No, I'm accusing certain Belgian fans of having an agenda that puts nationality above what's good for Chelsea. I trust Jose to do what's in Chelsea's best interests and right now he isn't seeing enough from De Bruyne to select him but it's a long season and people need to relax and trust him. You can moan about some of his decisions like his decision to play Rami on the wing.....but he rectified that error at half-time on Saturday. If he's making a mistake not picking KDB then I trust him to have the vision to fix it. Everyone needs to just chill out a bit though and stop getting their panties in a twist when their favourite player doesn't get selected.
  3. It's still September. It's a long season. If he deserves another chance and can improve the team, then Jose will play him. Again, Jose manages for the benefit of Chelsea Football Club, not Kevin De Bruyne, not Juan Mata and certainly not for the Belgian National Team. If you want Jose to make decisions with the purpose of helping Belgium out then you guys can pay him...I assume his wages would be about 10% of your GDP though, so maybe be careful with that.
  4. There's also Nat Chalobah who is probably further along in his development than Josh right now. Left-back is definitely becoming an issue - Ashley looks a little inconsistent for the first time, Ryan still hasn't established himself and Van Aanholt....well who knows? Luke Shaw is a Chelsea fan so that seems the perfect fit for us, but he won't be cheap.
  5. Wow....flares and people climbing on fences. That's so amazing. Different cultures, different ways of supporting clubs. Not trying to start an argument but do any English supporters go on the forums of South American clubs and moan about the way they support their teams? Wait....let's start again. Do any English supporters go on the forums of South American clubs full stop? It's one thing to moan about English supporters (because Chelsea supporters are by no means that unique) but they CHOSE to follow an English club, playing in the English league. Moaning about the way we support our teams seems a little odd.
  6. I hate people who criticise our support and do fuck all to actually make it better. As I've said before, if you don't like it change it. Now you'll probably get plenty of likes for that little post but you've shown your true colours today by calling our supporters plastic when you have NO right to. I just posted my opinion of what it felt like to have Jose in the dugout and you come up with some shit that culminates in you calling Chelsea supporters plastic. I don't come here for that, I don't invite that, I don't want that and I don't think anyone else does so if you felt like I forced you to say that then I'm sorry. But you need to re-read this thread and maybe ask who exactly has the problem here.
  7. I never said I wanted him to be sold did I? Do you have the post you're referring to? If not then I simply won't respond because it just clutters up the forum and wastes space. Here's a video from Chelsea's history to stop this from being another pointless post. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=toUjHo-8mCE
  8. Was that aimed at me? Sorry, but I'm just not a fan of men acting like little girls and scratching one another. Now dropping him would have been fine - even Nigel Spackman managed that and he was a bit of a beanpole.
  9. Wow....so you're having a pop at the people who spend their hard-earned money turning up week-in and week-out to support this club (many of whom have been doing so for years and who helped keep this club ALIVE in it's darkest hours) because I dared to describe the feeling of being able to look and see Jose Mourinho in our dugout?? That's a massive overreaction on your part I think. I genuinely don't think you meant to describe these supporters as plastic so I'm going to back away from this discussion. Honestly, I don't think you're the type of person to describe the people who support Chelsea Football Club as plastic, despite that kinda being what you just wrote. Maybe you're just having a bad day.
  10. Oh well. Again if you have a specific post you'd like me to try to explain to you then I'm more than happy to but it feels like we're going around in circles here. Have a nice day though.
  11. They can do what they want. All I know is that every single supporter in the ground now has someone they can look for in the dugout who they know they can trust. That's a very visceral feeling, it's reassuring and it's something we're very fortunate to have. But if one of the people on this forum who 'knows their football' thinks they have something of value to offer then they should get in contact with the club and present it in the informative, instructional way they do when they post something in the matchday threads.
  12. I am telling you the truth. I never wanted him sold. I said I trusted Jose's judgment and would back him in any decision he made. Does that clear up the confusion?
  13. Don't worry about it. Take a step back and you'll realise that there's only a few posters who consistently defend him whilst the vast majority of supporters view him how you do. It's easy to get sucked into the never-ending debate about him, but it's really pointless. Praise him when he does well, criticise him when he doesn't and ignore the rest of the bullshit fanboys bring to the debate.
  14. No buts. That's not what Chelsea supporters expect from their players. It never has been, it never will be. It's sly and it's not our way.
  15. I never wanted him to be sold. I never expressed a desire for him to be sold. I never said he should be sold. Apologies if any of my comments confused, befuddled or bemused you. If you'd like me to explain a specific post to you then I'm more than happy to.
  16. He makes mistakes in the full glare of the media, with millions of Chelsea fans looking to him to win matches - we sit on the net and use our minute amount of footballing knowledge to pick holes in the selections he makes. We have the best man for the job. We should count our blessings that he has an uncommon knack of rectifying those mistakes quickly, as he did yesterday.
  17. Fair play to Mata for responding so positively, and in exactly the manner Jose would have wanted. It's nice to have a guy in charge who seems to know how to motivate his players to play in the manner he wants them too. Just to see Mata getting stuck in geed the crowd up and it didn't go unnoticed. Again it's 45 minutes but it's a great start.
  18. Great game but fuck me if scratching a player isn't embarrassing. Chelsea player or not that shit is just unacceptable, but it was nice to see some passion and confidence from the guy. He needs to maintain and not let it be just another false dawn.
  19. Be careful mate. Yesterday his removal changed the game. After two good games, he went back to his old self and that's exactly what some people were worried about. Needs to pick himself up and put his heart into his next appearance.
  20. I've seen some sniping at him, but the supporters who actually turn up and watch the matches week in and week out finally have a guy we can unite behind and support. That was evident again yesterday. This club needs him and anyone not behind him needs to have a word with themselves.
  21. I'd have thought it would be waist-height. Were you taught to do it differently?
  22. It gives them a chance to put into practice what they've been working on in training. It also gives them the chance to show their character and prove to the boss that they can react correctly to adversity, and step up to the challenge he's thrown down.
  23. Schwarzer Azpi Luiz Kalas Bertrand Van Ginkel Essien Mata De Bruyne Willian Eto'o Would be surprised if Mata wasn't on the wing. Eto'o needs goals, but could quite easily see Ba or Torres playing this one. Azpi, Bertrand, Van Ginkel, Essien and Schwarzer need domestic starts. Kalas might get a shot although who knows?
  24. What the fuck? The guy is a machine, doesn't stop running all day and gets up and down that right wing with fuck all support sometimes....and he's developing a lazy streak??? I do sometimes wonder if people watch the matches when they make comments like this.
  25. He's the number one, number ten, with the number eleven and he looks twelve.
