He is like a bad smell left behind by Mourinho. He reminds you of all the negative things Mourinho has done to the club in the past number of months, because it sums up his attitude - he'd rather play this sack of shit instead of giving the 3rd striker slot to a youth player...and now it looks like we're stuck with him.

It's officially the 'second half' of the season: enter Cesc. Typically he great in the first half of the season and shite in the second throughout his career. Only in one season at Arsenal was he bad in the first half of the season and great in the second half, so I hope this is the case now. Still, I think if the likes of Juve are sniffing around both him and Oscar in the summer they should be moved on. Particularly because of the wages Cesc appears to be on. We need players who will perform consistently and not just for half of the season. At the very least, players who are not completely anonymous when not at 100%.

Chant of the match: "He left cause you're shit, He left cause you're shiiiiit, Patrick Bamford, He left cause you're shit." Great not seeing Pardew's smug face again! Amazing performance! Almost as good as the away support!
-
All of this without Hazard. Very promising team performance.
-
Holy shit, pressuring players and intercepting the ball! While we're 3-0 up no doubt! Haven't seen that in a lonnnnnng time.
-
Patrick Bamford chants going now! Brilliant! Absolutely amazing support today. Amazing.

What was your thoughts on Oscar's attitude to saving himself for the World Cup in the second half of 13/14 then? As soon as Mourinho sold his competition in both Mata and KDB? Pretty shit was to repay the faith a manager has shown. Your argument is based on hearsay, you have no idea what he's like in training. I'll only judge what I can see and I saw a man who was trying to play on despite clearly being injured.

Hmmmm....comparing Oscar to Frank... I'm pretty sure the only similarities are the number 8 on the back mate. Oscar is the type of player who only has his tail up when the team are winning, whereas we all know what type of player Frank was for us. Funny coming from you since you want to criticise Hazard to the hilt when he's playing injured. Fact is, Oscar has always been this bad but Hazard's previous form does not even buy time with some fans for a bad patch of form during a difficult time. Maybe you just don't like him because he pushed away your idol Mourinho?
-
He'd want to since it was put on a plate for him.

Buy the potential. Loan the potential. Sell the potential. Keep the shite. Making other teams better since 2013 - The Chelsea way.
-
Emenalo? Mourinho? Is that you?! Attitudes like this is why Chelsea will never bring players through, written off without even making a start. I wonder how many Spurs fans felt the same about Kane before he broke into the team? Or Arsenal fans about Coquelin? At least Ferguson and Wenger tried for a while as well with players like Macheda & Frimpong etc. before writing them off or shipping them on loan. Seems like our youth players will never get that luxury, even from some fans.

I mean this is not the first time Remy has been unavailable at the same time Costa is unavailable...meaning his fitness makes him unreliable. We've had to play a false 9 today, you just don't see that at top clubs. He would be one of the best no. 2's if he was always fit, but he isn't.
-
I'd still prefer him right now than Falcao or seeing Hazard as a false 9 ever again. Remy is also unreliable as a number 2.
-
Can we not throw Falcao back to Monaco and bring Patrick back?!
-
Drop Oscar. Stick Bamford up top with Diego. Judging Diego's latest performance and Bamford's recent comments about Palace, never again will you see a pair of strikers as desperate to put a ball in the back of a net. We may as well try score our way out of trouble, it's working for everyone else at the top of the league. It'll never happen though obviously.
-
Christ on a bike, can we not just throw Kenedy or Traore up front for the last few minutes? Oscar is doing fuck all anyway.
-
I suppose we'll all find out if you start PM'ing people with xenophobic and homophobic slurs, asking them to 'meet' at the Bridge...how embarrassing that would be.
-
So Mourinho should be absolved for pushing quality players out the door? Do you completely forget that he was the one talking about staying long-term? Is this the guy who people were referring to as TOPTB in disguise?
-
Yeah, but you can moan when it looks like a pile of shit sitting in 16th.
-
At least between 2011-13 we were building towards a youthful, attacking side. Now we have fuck all of that because Mourinho threw them out the door as soon as he arrived and made Branislav Ivanovic the most important player on the pitch.
-
This is going to end in disaster.
-
Oh look, Mata tracking back and dispossessing us...hmmmm, isn't that supposed to be an Oscar specialty?!?
-
Ivanovic and Mikel, ffs. Lucky Martial took on Ivanovic and hit the post because Mikel left Herrera wide open for a cut-back. Absolutely useless the both of them.

2 league starts in half a season is a 'shot'? I suppose RLC has had his 'shot' then as well?!? By that logic, I suppose we should ship him on in January. And 'hindsight'? This is the guy who was touted as Lampard's ready made replacement since he was signed, more specifically, after his stint at Bremen. The potential was there. The vast majority of people here could see it - but José couldn't? Because he didn't run around as much as Oscar? It is far more than just 'hindsight' behind the reason why people are still angry about letting him go... I would love to know who your ideal attacking midfielder is...besides the likes of Hazard and Neymar of course. I'm not making slight of you when I say this (I respect all of your posts). Honestly, I would just love to know due to your previous praise of Oscar (when Mourinho started favouring him over Mata) and Fabregas. Because, if I remember correctly, you think that: Mata - needs a team built around him. KDB - only plays well against small teams. Both of those players would be vast upgrades on Oscar right now. For me, Mata doesn't need a team built around him. He just needs to not be under a manager that plays shit football while playing him on the wing (sounds very familiar). We also never got to see him with Matic in behind him. Say what you want about KDB, but we are halfway through the season and the boy has 10 goals and 10 assists in 23 appearances. If that is not Lampard territory, I don't know what is. And at 24 years of age?! I'm sorry, but that is fucking scary. Particularly when you consider Frank's tally for us at that age was a total of 8 goals in an entire season...plenty of room to become a 'big game player' wouldn't you say?

Thank you. My biggest problem with Mourinho was seling our bright future we had at the beginning of the 2013 season. Sure we couldn't win the league as it stood, but we were more than capable of finishing in the top 4 and build on the young gems we had with the aim to dominate with them in the future through attacking football...but no. Mourinho sold it all for a solitary league title when we could've had 4,5 or 6 with KDB, Bertrand Mata etc. He replaced quality young players with shit like Fabregas, Cuadrado and Falcao. He didn't just fuck up a team, he fucked an entire squad for years to come. Impressive.
