If we're bidding for someone in psg, bid for Verratti. Put 60mil on the table

Lmao

When costa first came, everytime he ran fabregas tried to get the ball to him, direct vertical through passes from midfield. But now costa rarely gets direct passes anymore so his runs are now wasted. He doesn't have great holdup play especially in the air, but his strength is his runs so if our players are not utilizing it they are wasting him.
-
If he's fast, can tackle, and has good concentration he'll be ok. He's another french player for hazard to make laugh
-
I dont understand this aspect of Azpilicueta being told to stay back to protect terry, if Azpilicueta is forced to stay back because of terry, then it's a hindrance to hazard, our attacking approach as a whole. At the end of the season, Terry should be 36. There is no team playing champions League that uses a defender this old. He should still be good enough to defend one on one like we used to have with Carvalho or he's not good enough for our level. We have been complaining of our pressing, and we can never accomplish it if the defenders are too deep. Everyone must press together, everyone must attack together and defend together. United. We can't tell hazard to track back and not let Azpilicueta support him consistently, that won't help the teamplay.
-
Our players won't be able to concentrate on football, damn.
-
He needs to let the fullbacks go forward consistently. And they should be cutting back crosses for shots from the edge of the box or crossing between the keeper and defenders for Costa or Falcao. When I see the relationship between sterling and kolarov, Ronaldo and marcelo, robben and lahm, ribery and alaba I cringe at why we don't do ours too. Every team does it except us. Each time I see the map of Chelsea's average positions, we're cramped in the middle because we have no wingplay combination. The irony is its easier to create from wings than the middle as long as you play with high-tempo.

He has massive potential, but if he's going to cost more than Madrid bought james Rodriguez, then we should put the money on breaking koke's release clause imo.
-
We have hazard, Pedro and fabregas but we don't have wingbacks who can stretch play and cross like kolarov and Zabaleta. Instead we stay cramped in the middle and choke ourselves in tight spaces with slow passing. The way we overcomplicate football annoys me at times.
-
This is a lie
-
Our main worry is our conceding of goals from the right. We should stop the goals then think about our attack. Even Barcelona have shut up shop and won with two consecutive 1-0 because they conceded 9 goals in three matches. After that we can have confidence to go and attack later games.
-
He was very brave in taking on players. Which is what we've lacked this season, I hope he gets another chance.
-
Is he mad???It'll be crazy if he was referring to hazard and not ivanovic. Even my little sister could tell ivanovic was poor, Mourinho is not that stupid.
-
Who creates our chances? Hazard uses his dribbling, fabregas uses his passing and vision, and pedro crosses. If hazard and fabregas are failing to do their jobs individually then all that is left is one of our top assists makers in oscar. I'm not hyping oscar, I'm being realistic of our terrible situation.
-
Because of hazards sudden fear of dribbling, and fabregas loss of vision, the only creative force remaining is oscar. He has become vital because our "better" players are now shit
-
He's not the most creative but fabregas has never played a good match without oscar. Hazard does one two's and more combination plays with only oscar in the team too. And oscars pressing and ability to come deep is sorely missed. He won't cure ivanovic but he'll make the teammates play better, I'm certain of it.
-
This is the plain truth. Nothing like this excuse of he's been forced to defend because it's a lie. He just doesn't want to dribble anymore, Willian has infected him.
-
Exactly This side is the most unathletic side he's ever managed. This side is physically the weakest in midfield, terrible on the counter, terrible in pressing, terrible defending one on one, terrible in long range shooting and terrible in setpieces. This is not a Mourinho group of players at all.
-
Mourinho said nothing wrong in his press conference. I don't know why it's even a topic, you guys should watch the video and leave daily mail headlines...
-
Well mancity cross like hell every game and create a lot of chances. The long rangers are for variety in our gameplay, gone are the days when people try to close down lampard thinking he wants to shoot and he puts drogba through on goal. That's why shooting is important, we can interchange passes QUICKLY and fire from the edge of the box instead of waiting to be infront of the keeper. The real problem with our attack is because of how slow we play, adding long shots and proper crosses (not from ivanovic) will speed up our play and catch defenders off guard before they settle.
-
Those were the good days when we had duff, jcole, robben, essien who could all beat their marker. Lots of crossing into the box and lots of shots from outside the box, instead of this slow passing we are seeing now.
-
Mirallas and Barkley to target ivanovic, bombard crosses till they score. They'll press fabregas so that he loses the ball under pressure. These are two things I know will happen for sure. What I don't know is if hazard will be awake, or Oscar replaces willian. Because that's what we desperately need to respond to the obvious weakness on our right side.
-
I love Chelsea more than one player and if I was in England, I would have brought a banner begging Mourinho to bench ivanovic. He's a liability now, the sooner he's dropped the better. Every single team has figured out our weakness is ivanovic flank except Mourinho, Unreal....
