Instead of giving up on his main trademark of dribbling, What hazard needs to do is learn how to dive like Ronaldo or Neymar or messi. These players are kicked just as much but know how to fall and win the foul. This season has proven what I said earlier last season right. That Hazard needs to add other aspects to his gameplay because without his dangerous dribbling he basically adds nothing to a high level. He can't put people through on goal like fabregas or KdB can, he can't send passes to pedro making runs when on the dribble like messi and mahrez can, he can't shoot from outside the box while driving in like robben and Bale. So this season, once his dribbling isn't working he's looked ordinary because of it. Hopefully he adds something else world-class to his game that isn't just dribbling.

He is the box to box midfielder I've been screaming for since the summer transfer period. He reminds me of Essien, kante can pass, can shoot, can dribble past his marker, can tackle and is very mobile. We need to sign him and ighalo to get back to what Chelsea knows how to do. I'm tired of a striker who is bullied by defenders and complaining to the ref. Ighalo has scored so many goals out of nowhere, with hopefully passes. He'll get even better passes here. I'm tired of our slow midfield pivot, fabregas-Matic is too slow for my liking. We need mobility without losing technical quality. Once we get this done, we'll see a different team.

True, but we need to make sure the attacking players are technically sound instead of focusing so much on physical quality

Hazard is how we start our attacks. But the final pass is where ozil and many others beat him. Those vertical passes are crucial to this play. I remember sometime on Hazard thread where I showed a lot of clips of how messi combined his dribbling with vertical passes to Neymar and hoped hazard does it, and people told me only messi can do it, but we can see mahrez this season doing exactly what I said. Supplying vardy with goals with Messi style of passing has made mahrez the best player in the league currently.

Ozil won't have as much assists as in arsenal, but he'll have far more than hazard. Fabregas proved last season to beat hazard in assists from deep in midfield too. Hazard just creates problems for defences with his dribbles, but he doesn't actually have huge number of assists with creative passing.

Walcott's goal just now and mahrez goal against us is what hazard needs to do more. You don't need to dribble again in the box all the time, just bend it like Beckham into the corner. Infact all our wingers are guilty of this, just cut in and curl the ball.
