Daddy Sarri is absolutely right. Because whatever he's doing is working. At this rate, im beginning to think the 35goals + assists bar I set for Hazard is too low.

Thats what he can do in an attacking system. I'm hoping for big things from him this season.

Its people's comments like this that makes me want Hazard to get 35 goals + assists and prove them all wrong. Especially this season as he's finally playing under an attacking coach in Chelsea. So far, he's gotten a goal/assist in every game, so hopefully he keeps this going.

Alonso is a new version of fullback, (inverted fullback) and because of hiss style of play, Kovacic has become even more crucial. His defensive skills will help shore up that side since Alonso gets more touches in the box than Morata. I'll honestly rather prefer it to be an attacker on the end of these chances instead of Alonso, but Alonso is doing well so far and our huge possession reduces the need for him to defend so, I'm not complaining.

This guy must be kind of frustrating to play with if you're a winger. Modern day fullbacks are supposed to provide the width, constantly overlap for wingers, be a dribbling threat & put balls into the box. Alonso on the other hand plays like a poacher. He exploits the space Hazard attracts & creates rather than actually taking attention off him. Hazard is one of the best dribblers to ever play so it works somehow but I can't see him playing like this at any other club. It's working so far though but it's just strange to see the leftback take up the wingers half-space to shoot, instead of stretching the play and creating space for the winger

His refusal to shoot is slowing down the target I've set for him at 35 goals + assists this season. But even at that, he's already scored 2 goals and 2 assists in few games... 31 more to go
