That's why I keep on saying he needs to develop his ball control and passing. If his passing was more than 55% today, then the statistics sites have made mistakes. A lot of times barkley or baines or naysmith passed to lukaku and ran for the return, he passed it away. And his first touch/ ball control let him down a lot today. He needs to train more with the ball than the physical aspect of his game(gym)

Good goal for lukaku. He is a very big threat and has presence in front of goal. He just needs to fine tune his passing and first touch on a consistent basis and we wont need to get any striker again in all honesty.

As you said, we wanted to loan Ba to arsenal. But they went for ozil, so giving them ba would have been stupidity of the highest level. We were now stuck with 4 strikers while playing only one striker, so lukaku's chances of playing slimmed down to 1/4. No other person wanted to loan Ba, so for lukaku's slim chances of surpassing benteke for the world cup, he needed to play more and not hope. From here, it was a logical option. I am very confident that lukaku also opted for this decision personally. So people should stop blasting the board for this.

I'm not sure of your source. I think he played more matches than that in three years. Look at the one from barbara's site. I shows more assists above 90 for ozil and he had the highest assists in 3 years for europe, then messi was second. But mata is a far better finisher though

What does silva have over mata, work rate and strength. Their vision and every other thing is about equal and silva starts more for spain. If mata can close the gap, he will play more that's what I mean. The directness of mata is the fact that he just stays up front and waits for the ball almost like a second striker, but if he comes back and works for the team he will play deeper than last season and be less direct because of that

When mourinho fixes his work rate, del bosque will have no reason to call pedro ahead of mata again and he'll adapt to any attacking position for spain. It was always all for his benefit that he got better at his workrate

No one said schurrle is better than hazard. We all know hazard is pure class, but he hasn't produced so far this season and there are rumors of him carrying an injury. So it will be wise for him to rest and completely heal of the injury instead of rushing back when schurrle can fill up for him in the meantime.
