Cahills strength is last ditch challenges in the box, goal saving tackles but his weakness is people who run at him, but he's developed of late on this. Luiz strength is his speed and anticipation of passes, but his main weakness is constantly defending crosses. That needs total concentration. Luiz in midfield is better than ramires on his current form imo. Lampard doesn't offer the energy mourinho likes in the middle. We've won 90% of games with luiz in midfield. I think he should be moved there beside matic. He won't have to face his main weakness of constantly defending crosses and is a better partner for matic imo.

You sir, are a genius. It seemed like the right was more free especially in the first half. Its why mourinho needs a left sided player on the right. That means he can cut inside and shoot more dangerously than a right footer with ivanovic providing width as a distraction to the defence.

To me he rarely stayed on the left flank through out the first half and that's why he was so flat. He came to the middle too much and ended up crowded a lot. By the second half 70mins, everyone was exausted and he couldn't influence anything at all.

We need to win now more than ever. I hope we exploit their high line, and score early in the first 30mins. Luiz needs to keep his focus at the back I didn't like an instant against newcastle where he let the ball go over him for a free header for the newcastle player. Hazard is going no where under mourinho's watch. People are forgetting something important about madrid transfers. All the clubs where they signed these players didn't have ABRAMOVIC. Mata is too slow for mourinho attackers and that makes him not to be able to escape from pressure.(Even ozil is a lot faster) If a player man marks mata and pressures him, he loses the ball. I saw this A LOT last season. (Yaya toure disturbed him) He can't hold unto the ball like hazard does under pressure. Even silva for mancity is superb at holding unto the ball under pressure. He also needs hazards and oscars runs then quick passing to get away from his markers. But if hazard doesn't have those runs, it becomes difficult for him to do something on his own. In total mourinho needs more than just passing but ball retention and speed in transition.

Mata was a fantastic servant to us. The team was built around him and he got us through some hard times and played with his heart. Mourinho wanted us to be a stronger challenger so he changed our system to high pressure and quick transition.
