Mancity (aguero, tevez, balloteli) On top of this advantage liverpool are playing in only one competition and having a full week rest with no fatigue affecting old gerrard and suarez and you still don't see how things are in their favour?? Key word, it took rodgers 1 year and playing in only one competition with 1 week rest for all players every week to get to where they are now. They bought more wisely, like PSG fernadinho >> all our cm's except matic Negredo and jovetic >> all our strikers Navas >> all our Am's except hazard We also sold and our net spending is less than city

Our priority is to tie down costa/cavani, but imo we have other important issues. We have bigger problems than just a striker. Our players are too unintelligent, the worst decision making of any top team. I've lost count on how many times we get into the 18box and then don't make the right pass or shot because of outright stupidity. (Ramires and ivanovic are huge culprits in this) We need people who attack for us to come up with intelligent passing and still have strength and speed in their play, we need to get another box to box that is more intelligent than ramires peanut brain. Surely if matuidi, fernadinho, or even khedira was in ramires place as our box to box, some stupid decisions in the final third would have been avoided. We also need technically gifted players all over from CM to striker. Why?? Because they can bail the team out with moments of genius. (Look at yayatoure in the league cup final, look at lavezi's goal against us, look at hazard's volley against the bar in PSG) Pure technique bailed these teams, not coaches instructions, just pure technique which only hazard and eto in our team have. Our team are too average in passing all over only hazard and eto feel comfortable on the ball in attack. The rest prefer running but are shit with the ball. There is nothing wrong with having fast players, but players can be fast and still throw good passes, its not a crime. When I compared our players technically player for player against PSG, I discovered there is still a long way to go for our team to become top 5 in europe than just strikers.

Its not a failure because we are challenging strongly for the big trophies finally (after years of being massive underdogs in everything, mourinhos presence alone made people see us as contenders once again), and have made our home a fortress once again. But sometimes success is measured by trophies, this season can slide because it is a good progress in terms of transition. Now mourinho has an idea on the full weakness of the squad, now he has a transfer window to fix it, now he has seen first hand how we have suffered with torres, no fucking way things will be the same again next season. We will come stronger next season.
