  1. My brother who is an Arsenal fan is a lot like that aswell. So i would love to beat these lot otherwise i'll never hear the end of it.
  2. Well if that's the case they won't be winning the title anytime soon. While there have been some exceptions, there is always a large gap between the league leaders and Rafael Benitez's teams at the end of the season. If your'e wondering what the exceptions are the first/second are when he won two La Liga titles with Valencia. The other exception was when he guided Liverpool to a 2nd place finish in the 2008-09 season, where they finished 4 points behind Manchester United. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2001%E2%80%9302_La_Liga http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2003%E2%80%9304_La_Liga http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2008%E2%80%9309_Premier_League
  3. Sorry if this has already been mentioned, but some media outlets are referring to the Ivanovic incident as a bite. I couldn't find any sort of evidence to support this, until i came across these photo's in the mirror's photo gallery.
  4. As i understand some people have started to refer to them as Aston Nilla, since they just don't score that many goals. At the other end of the pitch they apparently have the best defensive record of any club from outside of the top four. So if they can't score they may very well park the bus against us.
  5. Iv'e s seen a list incidents that Diego has been involved in throughout his career, and iv'e got to say it dosen't look great. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/B8hC7dYIIAAgAL0.jpg:large BUT he gets a a free pass from me when it comes to his scuffles with the Real Madrid defence. Who are not above standing on opposition player's achilles among other things.
  6. He also once said that we pressurize referees more than any other team in the league.
  7. This dosen't really surprise me since Liverpool are a club who are living off their past history. Anyway according to the Daily Star, Liverpool are apparently preparing to sign Fernando Torres. http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/liverpool-fc-transfer-gossip-shock-8282742 This is despite the fact that he has been consistently inconsistent for how long now?.
  8. Are you referring to the fact that Pardew said that Arsene Wenger is a BETTER manager than Jose Mourinho?. While I know it's only his opinion, i was upset beyond belief when i heard that. If you talk to at least some Arsenal fans they'll tell you that they are dying for Arsene to go. Since they feel that they are going backwards with him. Yet you have Alan Pardew making stupid statements like that. What made it worse was how easily Arsenal were able to beat Newcastle, while we failed to beat them.
  9. I hope i'm posting this link in the thread. If so i'm sure that you will all get kick out of this. Funniest Football Christmas Gifts! http://betting.boylesports.com/football/premier-league/funniest-football-christmas-gifts
  10. Millwall - Everything that iv'e seen, read, and heard, about their fans makes me not want to go to a match if we ever play Millwall again. And Crystal Palace - This nomination isn't so much for the club but for their fans. Because they have some really rude fans that make racist comments about my mum when she's out about during match days. If that wasn't bad enough they also do not make enough space for you to walk past them in the street. So you literally have to walk in the road to get past them. Though I guess their not all bad though, as my mum once told me that she saw a palace fan that was claiming that palace are the BEST club in the world. Either that guy was drunk as fuck, high as a kite, or he may just be that deluded. Lol.
  11. Petr Cech Is Great at Twitter, Destroys Manchester United Fan with 'Banter' http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2174602-petr-cech-is-great-at-twitter-destroys-manchester-united-fan-with-banter
  12. This actually wouldv'e been the 4th time that he's done this, because he tried to bite Chiellini in the confederations cup last year. http://forums.bigsoccer.com/threads/is-suarez-a-zombie.2007139/page-2#post-30527239
  13. Could somebody help me out please?, because I'm not sure if i've made the right predictions for this week's matches.
  14. I for one would like to see a vast improvement from last season, because despite beating all of our rivals in the title race we still only finished 3 points ahead of Arsenal. Which is something that my friend has never stopped going on about. In addition to that my friend has also made a big deal out of the fact that Wenger finally finished a season with a trophy while Mourinho didn't.
  15. From what iv'e seen on tv and from what iv'e read online, our defensive tactics are another reason why we are so hated. This week alone i have seen A LOT of hate for Chelsea in regards to this style of play For anybody that is interested numerous of examples of this can be be seen at the following links; http://www.ftbpro.com/posts/chris.deeley/904092/the-10-best-memes-from-this-week-s-champions-league-matches https://www.facebook.com/uMAXitFootball The thing that annoys me about this criticism is that when other teams play this way, it's called a "great defensive display" yet when play like this its called "parking the bus."
  16. It seems as though he isn't as hated on merseyside as we may think, because he was actually their first choice to be their next manager a few years ago. http://www.liverpool-kop.com/2012/02/jose-mourinho-to-anfield-liverpool-fans.html
  17. I think that we might be the most hated club in Europe and in the Premier League. But in the lower leagues surely it's got to be Millwall right?, because their fans are always dragging that club down with their senseless violence. My first experience of Millwall was when i watching their FA Cup match with Wigan from last season. I actually can't remember much about the game, all i can remember is that the game was overshadowed by some horrific violence involving Millwall fans. From what i hear on that day Millwall fans attacked a man in front of his daughter. Among other horrific things which i do not wish to talk about.
  18. The reaction from Liverpool fans would be priceless if that were to happen.
  19. I really hope that we put Liverpool in their place this week, because according to this tweet, their fans have apparently been mocking the deaths of Matthew Harding and Pat Lampard on Twitter.
  20. He's been supporting us since he was little, I know this because he has done a few interviews about this. Here is just one interview in which he talks about supporting us. http://bridgekids.chelseafc.com/en-GB/Paul-Merson-Interview-2013/default.html?videoSectionPageName=chelsea-tv
  21. I can see this being another win to nil if we defend well. I say this because i go onto Sunderland forums to get some insight for my weekly premier league predictions, and their fans almost always seem to mention that Sunderland have a hard time playing against teams that are difficult to break down. So for us to win this game it will depend on whether we can make the most of any chances that we get at the other end.
  22. And if that wasn't bad enough a group of Liverpool fans attacked some Cardiff fans a few weeks ago. http://www.cardiffcityforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=138730
  23. As much as i hate to say it, this match could be yet another banana skin for us. Because we only seem to beat Swansea at Stamford Bridge, and according to this we have only ever beaten them away from Stamford Bridge on 2 occasions. But as we know records are made to be broken, so i hope that's what happens here. 24. Iv'e been looking forward to this reverse fixture for quite some time, because i was hoping to go the game since i do not live too far from Selhurst Park. Having said that i am 100% committed to Chelsea, but i do have something of a soft spot forCrystal Palace. This all started when i first became interested in Football and Chelsea in the 90's. In this same period i first learned about Crystal Palace, who came to my school and put on some training sessions for my class. Iv'e always been grateful for that. Other than that one memory i have about this fixture was that Drogba scored his first goal for Chelsea in it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dd9TVi802og I'm glad i'm not the only one who feels this way, at the moment i'm confident when going into games against the big teams. Because we usually do well in those types of games, but against the smaller teams the team doesn't always perform in the way that we all know it can.
  25. I hope this isn't the outcome for this match, because Man City and Liverpool will be even closer to us if they win their matches against Fulham and Cardiff. And they will have a chance to further reduce our lead at the top of the table, since we do not play in the league again until the 29th of this month. Like us Man City and Liverpool will also have league matches on the 29th, but before that they will have mid week league games on the 25th and 26th. http://www.soccerpunter.com/soccer-statistics/England/Premier-League-2013-2014
