  2. Well, it was nice to finally get back to winning ways against Southampton it wasn't looking good when went 2-0 down. Especially after dropping points against West Ham the previous week I actually felt that was coming as soon as chicharito came on. We haven't been very good defensively as of late and he has a good scoring record against us so I had a feeling that he was going to score against us. Other than that it was nice to see that Tottenham and Arsenal lost. The former will keep our hopes of qualifying for the champions league alive and the latter has opened up another gap between us and Arsenal.
  3. We probably will as we have bounced back against a few of the lesser sides this season. But if we score I probably won't celebrate due to our inability to see out games.
  4. Maybe so, but it's not looking too good for us at the moment. Yes, we did make some good signings in the early part of the transfer window, but to have not brought in anymore more players since then is what's so frustrating. Especially when you take into account that we still need cover in certain positions.
  5. They've actually been pretty good at home this season. As someone has already mentioned they beat Manchester City at home and they have drawn with Arsenal at home as well. The only teams that have beaten them at home are West Brom and Everton. Taking that into account in addition to the fact that we have beaten them by 3-4 goals in two competitions this season. I believe that this game will be a lot tighter than the previous 2. So I think that this will be won by a single goal margin.
  6. You're correct, he has been training with the team for a couple of weeks now. But he wasn't eligible to play for us again until the transfer window re-opened.
  7. Am I allowed to post links here? if so, it would be wonderful to beat Tottenham at White Hart Lane again. Because we have only beaten them there in just 1 of the last 10 meetings. Our last win there was when we beat them 4-2 under Roberto DI Matteo. I'll always remember that game that for how Juan Mata owned Kyle Walker in the above video it only shows how Mata got his revenge. It leaves out the moment what the moment when Kyle Walker followed Malta to the touchline and booted Mata and the ball off the pitch.
  8. As much as I hate to say it, I think Liverpool will win that game because Manchester City haven't beaten Liverpool at Anfield in years. The last time they beat Liverpool at Anfield was in the 2002-2003 season. Records like this will be broken at some point which is why I backed City to beat them there in the last two seasons but they let me down.

  10. So Alexis Sanchez isn't going anywhere if one Arsenal fan is to be believed. His reasoning for this was that Sanchez gets such great hugs at Arsenal so he wouldn't want to go anywhere else. Lol.
  11. I'm very pleased with that hard fought win, although it came at a price. That being the suspensions for both Costa and Kante. I know that Costa has been ridiculously good this season. But it will be nice to see Michy get a run out for a change he's been rather unlucky to have not played more games. The loss of Kante will be tremendous though, because I don't think we have anyone on the team that can do what Kante does for us. So it will be interesting to see what Conte does for the defensive midfield area for the Bournemouth game. He'll probably go back to the tried and tested partnership of Fabregas and Matic. I could totally understand that although it would be good to see Chalobah in there as well.

  14. Crystal Palace have scored the most goals out of any team that isn't in the top 4. So unlike the last game we may need more than one goal to put them away. On the plus side, they have only kept 2 clean sheets in their last 21 Premier League games.
  15. @Fernando MOTD is certainly an option but Goals on Sunday should also be considered. Chris Kamara and Ben Shepard are much more impartial on that show than the pundits on Match of The Day when it comes to us. I'm sure this has something to do with the fact that someone at BBC hates us. It would certainly explain why Chelsea related incidents are treated differently to that of other clubs. I haven't seen it myself but judging by this post they appear to be up to their old tricks again.
  16. First of all I'm ecstatic with our win and I'm very happy with what Conte has done to our team. And I'm equally as happy with the red cards because it makes up for previous games against City. The 3-0 defeats to them last season were very difficult to accept. In one of those games Fernandinho should've been sent off for kicking are players off the park. But he didn't get sent off so he went on to score the winner at the Etihad. And as for that dirty little bugger Aguero that red card makes up for the fact that he once two footed lunged David Luiz and only got a yellow card for it. This was in an FA Cup game back in 2013.
  17. They actually beat us 5-3 not 5-1 but you're right that was a bad day for us. Offensively, I definitely think that we'll give them problems. But defensively we've been so poor this season so our record of not conceding against them will be under threat.   18. Can you explain why he is so criminally underrated by our fans? I cannot speak for everybody, but I was happier than a pig in shit when we sold him. While he does have a great personality and a connection with our fans. He was and appears to still be a very poor defender so I can't understand how anyone would be happy to have him back. Especially when you take into account how awful we have been defensively in the these early stages of the season.

Because we failed to do that in the last meeting at the bridge in which Matic couldv'e had his leg broken by Ashley Barnes. The thing that makes this worse is the hypocrisy from ShawnDyche, who called that tackle on Matic "a man's tackle" yet when Mirallas did a similar challenge to George Boyd he complained about the referee's failure send Mirallas off.
  20. It all started when he was complaining on Twitter about racist abuse that he was getting during one of Burnley's pre-season games. He went on to say that the people who had been giving him that kind of abuse were still living in the stone age.   21. Yes, I'm aware of that, but I've read that they still want Remy as well. Which isn't too surprising because Crystal Palace have only won 2 matches in 2016 so they need all the help they can get.
  22. I doubt Remy will be in the squad because we're looking to get rid of him. He has been linked with a move to Lyon but he apparently wants to stay in London so Crystal Palace want take him on loan. Anyway, as for this upcoming game against Bristol Rovers I'm hoping that Conte will give Aina, Chalobah, and Ruben Loftus Cheek a run out. I also wouldn't seeing Batshuayi and Moses in the starting line up either.
  23. I've basically been saying this same thing on another Chelsea forum. So great minds really do think alike. As for West Ham I think we'll do them without keeping a clean sheet.
  24. After the shit season that we had last season, I welcomed the Euro's with open arms. But with the changes at various clubs in the Premier League I cannot wait for it to start.
