Daily Mail I dont think there would have been a worse ref named for this game than Mike ( Manchester United ) Riley. I expect him to award them a penalty as per usual. I believe its in his contract.

Daily Mail The history of the Premiership will tell you that Manu and Arsenal have usually been the top dogs and have battled it out for most of that until we broke the monopoly of both teams. In the past 5 years we have either finished 1st or 2nd. Fergie knows were a threat and is talking bollocks imo. Arsenal have faded away, but theres always been needle between them. Guillem Balague Website The seasons only started ffs and this guy wants to know if key players should start getting a break ? Our squad is already paper thin as it is. Defensively we're well sorted for cover, but the midfield and up front we do look uncomfortably short in cover. Belletti looks as though he'll be getting games in midfield to help out and Ivanovic I think can play as a defensive midfielder should Mikel get injured/suspended. Ballack is the only real option in midfield to come in (in terms of it being his natural position). Di Santo really needs to be given game time if we're to do well this season. If Drogba and/or Anelka again get injured/suspended we'll be relying on him to be our main striker, and thats alot of pressure to put on his shoulders at this stage. There are options out there who we can bring in such as Appiah, but it remains to be seen if anyone will be brought in. With the long season ahead, although we're doing well atm, a few injuries here and there and we're snookered.

Thats bollocks. I've been a Chelsea fan for 20 years and been to 3 games. The last one was just before RA took over. If I wanted to go to as many games as I could I wouldnt pay my bills and live on beans on toast. People have financial commitments amongst other things. So does that make me a lesser fan ?

Thats fair enough, but dont you think theres a bit of a spoilt brat attitude come out over this ? If Clarke wants to go we shouldnt stand in his way. He's obviously put some serious thought into this and as LFS admitted himself, they talked at length about this and Clarke still decided he wanted to go. The club is digging its heels in and arent going to let anyone play with their toys. To me thats wrong.

NOTW After reading that I do feel sorry for Clarke. If he wants to go just let him go ffs. Its the least he deserves.
