People who compare his goals for Atletico with his goals with Monaco to try to prove things are quite a bit stupid! Falcao had a much better team and played in a more open La Liga, while Monaco is a totally disfunctial team in a tactically tighter league... I will have to state this for the one hundredth time, just because Falcao isnt a good signing for Chelsea (too expensive and probably doesnt fit our system), it doesnt mean he is bad or overrated!

I think Wenger wants Draxler to be more of a foward, but definitely not a striker! Draxler can bery well be a downgraded version of Ronaldo, they actually share way more similarities than most think and Arsenal are in huge needs of a great player for that left wing (or however you want to call it). If this indeed goes through (which I doubt, since Schalke will want a good fee and Wenger already spent big in August), I imagine Arsenal playing something like a 4-3-2-1: Szczesny / Sagna, Koscielny, Vermaleen, Monreal / Wilshere, Ozil, Ramsey / Draxler, Walcott / Giroud. With some good subs: Flamini, Arteta, Cazorla, Podolski, Chamberlain, etc... That would be a totally different aproach and mentality than if they went for a striker like Diego Costa, but it is still interesting to them!

Shaw is great and I think the club should embrace new English talents, but he is not worth half the amount the media is throwing around! With that price, Chelsea could easily trigger Diego Costa's release clause and solve our long ST problem...

Yes we haven't, but it is too early to actually start making conclusions! We are still in January, things can go either way still. It is not because we have been playing good football and getting the results in the past 4-5 games that we are bound to continue like that and finish the season strong. The latest results have been amazing, but it won't mean much if in one month we start with that same old inconsistency. It is like you are judging the whole season by the months of December and January! I am not saying we aren't playing well and Mourinho inst doing a great job (I even said the contrary in previous pages), but at the moment, it is nothing beyond current form. It will only be something else if we keep on doing this for a longer period of time. He has not exceeded absolutely anything yet. Maybe you were the one pessimistic about this season, but for me (and many others), it is right on track with what we have predicted, not more and not less. Like Jose said it himself, his grade is a 7 or 7.5 - more than a 5 and less than a 10! We also had a pretty good run with Benitez at the end of last season (longer than that of right now), but it counts for nothing if we don't keep on performing. Let's wait a little longer before we start jumping the gun...

Dont get me wrong, I am super excited we are in the race and the team is actually playing well! However, one cant say we have exceeded expectations if the season isnt even close to finish yet. I mean, in one month we could be top of the league or outside the top4. It is way o early to make any conclusions... Wow, you took 7 months to make that conclusion?

I disagree with those who think Matic is 'very impressive'. Not that he is bad, he is actually pretty damn good. But he is not 'very impressive'... Anyway, if this deal goes through and he performs well, our title chances increase a lot! Finally a player for the pivot!
