I do agree, but people always say that he has 3 options. RM already has Ronaldo, Ozil, Modric, Kaka and Di Maria. Barcelona has Iniesta, Alexis, Villa, Pedro, Tello, Messi and Delofeu (future). We have Hazard, Mata, Oscar, Marin and Moses. It is not like he has an open spot on any of these teams...

I dont know how much each part gives him, but wages + sponsors (11) = £1million/month. Partners: Lupo, RedBull, Nike, Panasonic, Santander, Ambev, Unilever, Claro, etc.

LET ME JUST CLEAR SOMETHINGS: 1: All that was said about ref, coachs, directors, organization, etc, is 100% true. Brazileirao is a shity league and we all know (Henrique and Dionsa). However, you cant claim the refs, coachs and organization are the worst in the world. They are beyond crap though... 2: Italy, 2 years ago, could not even be mentioned in this comparison. The gap was huge. It was just lunatic. 3: Italy is in free fall, externally (scandal, finacial crisys, empty stadiums, etc) and internally (drastic loss of quality). 4: As of quality I rank both league teams as the following - 1(Juve and Napoli), 2(Top Br Teams), 3(Milan, Inter, Udinese), 4(Rest of Italy), 5(Rest of Br). IMO 5: Players in Brazil are immensily underrated. 6: The wages are indeed huge. I bet any Italian Club besides Milan, Inter, Juve and Napoli would not make top5 of money spend on wages in Brazil. 7: I do not support any team in Brazil. I am in theory Palmeirense, but since I dont see a bright future for our beloved football, I just gave up and really dont care. EDIT: Milan and Inter IF are better than Top Brazilian Teams.

I agree with everything, but I never said it was otherwise. I said it is fairly close to Italian quality right now. I explict said the external factors were/are absurd. One thing though....Players do gain a lot. Trust me, my father is a "Conselheiro" of Palmeiras. The wages are big. The problem is the media usually only point out the very top players and then people think the other players get 50k or so. I could list the wage list of every Palmeiras player, it is highly unethical though. I also know I am talking about a probably top 6, 7 or 8 team budget... Another aspect, I did not say Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A is wrong, it just irritates me, it is an awfully stupid name. Serie A was first used as an internal divison for Clube dos 13. Now, it is the name used for CBF. The official name (CNPJ) is Campeonato Brasileiro Petrobras or Brasileirao Petrobras. It is only 1 year old, so people are not used to it. The only thing I did was asked for him not use it. I was a bit rude I must say, sorry.

Mate, it pains me to say that the last decade was lost. Our League only got worse and worse. What I said is that we are slowly returning to 60s,70s,90s. We are still very far. Why people always distorce and/or comment on things I did not say?
-
Nobody said Brazilian League was better. Serie A has a well deserved glamour that Brazilian League (for lack of organization and competence) does not share. Atm, Italian Clubs are with a long not seen lack of quality, while Brazil is slowly restoring its full quality (60s,80s,90s).

LOL, I think there are 3-4. But my point was to truly great players (and they were), I was not debating the BEST or better than... I just wanted to put a lot of names really
-
I know it is your opinion, but everytime a truly great player makes history someone says the same thing. It happened with Puskas, Pele, Garrincha, Di Stefano, Eusebio, Backenbauer, Cruyff, Zico, Maradona, Platini, Van Basten, Romario, Ronaldo, Zidane, Messi, etc. I am not saying Neymar will be the one, but I am almost sure we will see 2-3 trully great players in the next 30 years, for instance. As KOF, Neymar CAN become better than Messi or be in the same level. He has to greatly improve though. That being said, he is very young and we do not know what his peek will be. When Messi was 20 years old, we knew he was very talented, but we did not know he was going to be THAT GOOD.
-
Dont generalise please...
-
Today in a Sports Channel, they were doing a poll on what was Neymar`s best goal this season. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XIFoXeu9RbU http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fymde9YJSK0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hAUApJaj-yQ What you guys think?
-
WOW, so harsh. I am happy to have Oscar alone!
-
I really dont think so, looking carefully at their squads, they have the worst teams in the last 2 decades. If big players like Sneijder, Milito, Cambiasso, Cassano, Pato, Boateng and Robinho (etc) were in their best moments I would agree with you. However, that is my opinion, if you still believe they are better, you have the right to do so. We all se football diferent. If we compare the last to decades: 90s, we had some fucking great teams (Palmeiras, Sao Paulo, Cruzeiro, Corinthians, Gremio, Vasco), but Milan/Juve/Roma/Inter were fantastic also. The small teams left Italian football with a great "win" margin. 00s we were just soooooooo bad, wont even compare. 10s Milan/Roma/Inter are in free fall, Italy in a big financial problem, match fixing scandals, lesser sponsors and tv money. We are improving inside the field (players, coaching, facilities) and we have the money to keep young prospect (we still need to sell some, but they go for a lot) and to make old players return. Well, that is my point of view. WTF??? You just started arguing some strange things... 1st: I was saiyng that you cant say Gremio is better and start comparring their old players (wiho are still good) with Italian football and then generalise to other Brazilian teams. Success and amount of titles are not the same as best team at the moment. Is Loserpool better than Chelsea because it has more BPL? Is Milan better than Barcelona because it has more UCL? 2nd: Club World Club was not discussed. 3rd: You can not say the style is bad (it is, I am quetioning your argument, not your opinion) because you heard former refs saying shit on TV. It is the same with english commentary (or any ohter language), former footballers also say shit on TV. 4th: Who does not realize Oscar is complete? 5th: Neymar wont do well in 2014 just because he stayed. Will Oscar fail, since he went to CFC? 6th: Oscar has not done anything diferent than what he had done in Inter, back then, he was not worshipped by many clubs. Now that he played in the same level for Chelsea, clubs wanted to have bought him. He is only one example, it proves how players are overlooked and underrated in Brazil (by International Media). 7th: I wont agree to disagree, you start saying some untruth stuff about Campeonato Brasileiro and want me to settle? P.S.: Mods, please move it to a proper threat. I do not know where to put it.
-
I have a feeling you just said we will either win, lose or draw...
-
I am fucking bored! My FINALS are only in November and there is NO FOOTBALL.    P.S.: Good luck Ollie.

At least we know his twitter was legit

What you said is half truth. The EXTERNAL FACTORS ARE ABSURD (as I pointed out in many threats already), but the players are pretty good. Our refs are more than crappy, but you havent seen any Asian or African League matches. European flop does not make a player bad. You also can not generalise and compare your old team with the other top teams (Fluminense, Santos, Corinthians, Sao Paulo, Internacional, etc), league table does not necessarily reflect the quality of the team. Is Chelsea behind Arsenal, Spurs and Newcastle just because they finished in better places? Is Gremio better than Corinthians? You are again wrong on the wages, R$200-300k/month is more common than you imagine, VERY TOP players receive R$500k+ (Seedorf is on 700k, and he is not a top5, probably top10). Yes mate, you know a lot about Italian Football. They dont even have match fixing every year, empty stadiums, shity fields, gambling problems, finacial crysis, etc, etc, etc. Have you take a look at Serie A squads???? I mean, Juve and Napoli are on another level (as I posted, they would win in Brazil), but even Milan, Inter and Udinese are not better than Corinhtians, Santos, Fluminense, Sao Paulo... I agree with you, I do not see him leaving. However, the threat was open because Chelsea did enquire about him a few days ago.
-
He might do a Ronaldinho, but how was it not quite a fulfilled career? He just won everything (WC, UCL, La Liga, Copa del Rey, Best Player Award, etc)! Neymar has much to do, but he already has an impressive career (Libertadores, Copa do Brasil, 2x Campeonato Paulista, Puskas Prize)... By the way, you should close it, he is not coming to Europe at least until Summer. Even though he promisses he will only leave in 2014.
-
Yes, but you dont pay a premium for a backup GK. It is just wrong... But Friedel has proven his worthyness (have no idea if it exists).
-
1st: Please dont call it Brazilian Serie A, If you want to use the official name use Brazileirao Petrobras. Italian teams are all worse than the top 4, 5 or 6 Brazilian Teams. Juve and Napoli are the only that would challenge the title (they would probably win it). 2nd: I also think we should get Moutinho or something, but that was not what you posted first. 3rd: There is no space for 2 CM in the starting lineup (that was my discussion). If you follow Brazil very closely, you would know that Mano called more players from Brazileirao because in the next international break (which we dont have because it does not stop the games), he will only call abroad players (since it will be in its very important final weeks). Since it was friendlies vs Iraq and Japan, nobody gave a damm. 4th: Italy has no money to pay Brazil's wage right now. BACK TO PAULINHO THOUGH.
-
I agree. However, Tite (Corinthians headcoach) started it and there is only one spot on CM role in Brazil squad. The comparison is inevitable...
-
I dont agree with the quote, but you must know who you are talking about. Seria A and Brazileirao are fairly close in quality today. Hernanes is arguably the best CM in Italy and Paulinho is the best CM in Brazil. He does offer discipline, passing, shooting, heading, tackling. It is incridible how Brazilian League is underrated and overlooked. Middle East, Ukraine, Russia, China, Turkey, Portugal are probably the only countries that really know about Brazileirao. No wonder they make tons of money selling to Europe aftrwards... I am not sold on him (as I posted previously), but you cant question his football skills. I am worried about external factors. At Club World Cup, Paulinho and Emerson Sheik are by far the most threatening players.
-
He is a CM, he would compete against Rambo and Lampard. In Corinthians he plays along with Ralf (DM). It is very similar with last year ManCity, Barry (Ralf) and Yaya (Paulinho). He also knows how to score. He is very good, but I dont know if he will adapt to England and if it is good for us to accumulate so many players from one country. It would bad for Chelsea and for Brazil. In Mano Menezes Brazil, it is basically Lucas Leiva/Sandro/Romulo fighting for DM role and Paulinho/Ramires/Hernanes for CM role. Luiz Gustavo and Arouca might be in the run too, but they are behind in this point in time. I personally rank him very high, but I am not sold it would be a great sign.
-
Ronaldo did not win UCL, Zico did not win WC, etc, etc, etc. Anyone who hold on on trophies to compare quality is, at least, naive. I really dont think people underestimate Ibra just because he did not succed in UCL. This are haters and rival talk. He has been extremely unlucky. 2009 (Inter) - Barcelona Champion 2010 (Barca) - Inter Champion 2011 (Milan) - Barcelona Champion 2012 (Milan) - Chelsea Champion 2013 (PSG) - Milan Champion?
-
How is Ibra underrated? Mourinho almost beged for him to stay at Inter. Barcelona payed 40million euros + Etoo. Milan payed what they did not have. PSG is paying him one of the highest wages in football.

Poland didn`t deserve it...
