Why do you create a thread to debate if you dont accept anyone`s opinion? Do you want us to spend how much more money? It will be hard to sell those not needed and will inflate the squad. Cant you see top players without proper preparation and training dont go anywhere? Buying will not solve our problems if they dont train properly.

Even if we go through we dont deserve it. We blew a 2-0 lead at home, we got outplayed in both Shakthar games, lost 3-0 to Juve.

I know we got outplayed, there are mistakes in some major areas that need to be taken care. However, it is not like all of our players suck and we need to get rid of most of them. I honest feel we just need to get rid of Torres and Luiz (if he continues his poor form). Our major problem is eachone`s role and lack of training and leardership. We have a lot to improve, but it is not by buying a bunch of new players that this will be resolved. The board and coaching staff must study and analyse what the issues are and discuss what to do to improve it. Of course we lack better players in the positions I described above, but all the problems (besides striker) must be dealt without spending money (at least this season). They are RDM`s job, not Roaman`s. he already gave us 80mi in excellent players this season...

It can be merged, guess it is better. I just wanted to get a feeling on what people were thinking.

Ivanovic: We have Azipilicueta and the other options are still too young, let him be a great option for when we need a defensive help in either the right or cent back position. He loves CFC, so it makes a huge difference. Luiz: We must try to fit him on DM before getting rid of him. Maybe he fits the role and we can end up with 3 players for this position. He is also a decent CB. Mikel: Good enough for now, maybe when bigger wholes are taken care of we might buy a real top class holding mid. Rambo: Had a good game, we need a better center midfield, but he makes an excellent second choice. Torres/Sturridge: I dont rank neither of them very high. NEEDS: I want a world class CB to play with JT. I would get Cavani/Falcao and Jovetic, they will improve our team so much, it will look another Chelsea. We could also get a CM, but we have to try Oscar and KDB first.

BIG OVERREACTION. I agree on some parts, but you just want a lot of things. It is a painful and long journey... People keep saying we are on transition period but they dont realise the fucking transition takes years and a number of transfer seasons, not 6 months and 2 transfer windows. Look at RM and ManCity, they tried to buy a whole team in one year, some players did not work out and they are stuck with a lot of players (5 CAM, 3 RB, 4 DM, etc). Mourinho and Mancini took time to find a formation that fits the team and the right players to play together. It takes a lot of training as well. A great team isnt made of the best individual players, there are tons of variables that goes into consideration. Why would you want another DM with Mikel and Romeu well adapted? Willian (which is not better than Mazacar) when we have Hazard, Mata, Moses and Marin? A private tutor of Luiz and Roman to spend more than what he has spent over all those years and in the summer? Just as you posted: I think we need a CB like Hummels (to play with JT, not to replace him), a CM like Xabi Alonso (to be our 1st option and Rambo as a direct sub), 2 ST (someone ike Cavani and another versatile (Jovetic)) and Cole extension. Regarding our youngsters, we will do all those right things. We have a very professional staff dealing with them and they know better than us what to do to make them thrive. You also have to decide which philosophy you want us to use. We either leave some gaps on our squad so our youngsters can take advantage (Barcelona) or we fill in every single position needed with signings (RM). We will eventually fill in the gap: mix youth with experience, possession with speed, etc. However, it will take time, a lot of training and a hard learning process.

I know, but he has the final decision. If he didnt wanted Scolari he would not have agreed to aproach him. At the end, we all know Roman has made some major mistakes regarding our coaching staff. I just hope he has learned to study all the possible scenarios, fully belive in whoever he signs and that he has learned to be more patient.
