Mikel had a great game, but it was not like he had Drogba or Yaya in his back pocket, lol. Ivory Coast had a really good second halg (until the 70th minute) and they had many chances (including Toure). Anyways, excellent performance and deserving win!

Definetly, we all know he is a good player, but it was time to move on! We are much better with Ba + Falcao/Cavani than with an unhappy Sturridge. 12 million was good money and we did right in selling him.

I want him loaned out to West Brom for next season as well (so 18 more months from now). It is not because I dont think he is good enough or anything (apart from his abismal first touch, he is quite good), it is because we will certainly buy a ST in the summer and if we dont get rid of Torres he will get almost zero playing time. He is happy and playing (and scoring) regularly! The best thing for his development is to stay like this for another season...

Relax, I am not complaining... We Brazilians usually go out knowing if we are going to drink or not.
