  1. Yeah, but his is just a racist cunt isnt he?
  2. No, no, no. I was saying, do you want us to be like Manure or like Barcelona? If we want to be Manure, Mikel is more than fine. If we want to be Barcelona, Mikel does not have the mobility and vision necessary (even for a DM)....
  3. He actually had a good game today. If it wasnt for his bad touch in Cole`s cross (1st half), people wouldnt be bashing him much.
  4. Good game, easy win! I should have voted for Mata or Hazard, but I voted for Lampard because I was delighted to see him playing again.
  5. This: Sorry if it came out offensive though!
  6. YEAH! At least Monterrey made me win Prediction League! 3-1
  7. 20min left and we look very comfortable.... 3-0
  8. Monterrey thinks we have Cassio as GK.
  9. Yeah! 4-2-3-1 works great if you do a triangle in the midfield, but the players (as you said) need to be clear of their responsabilities. Btw, this is a very weak opposition...
  10. WTF? AM I DREAMING? Brilliant backheel from Hazard, exceptional run and low cross from Torres and Mata kind of trolling! LOL, 3-0!
  11. I know, wasnt discussing Luiz, just the double zonal marking. Your comments about our players were spot on.
  12. Yes, but when you are facing weak opponents you can have one man marking whoever has the possession and another zonal marking. No point in arguing about it though.
  13. He will need 5 games to recover from this!
  14. LOL We have already created more chances than all the teams together throughout the whole tournament!
  15. LOL It did go out of hand, I asked the mods to move it elsewhere, but it obviously wasnt! We will all see Paulinho on Sunday, so you will get a better opinion about him...
  16. SHUT UP! Corinthians is much better than Reading and Swansea. They are not close to ManCity, Manure and Chelsea; worse than Spuds, Everton and Arse; a little bit worse than Loserpool; and about the same level or higher than NewCastle. As you can see, Corinthians can certainly win against any team, but it wont be like Reading beating Chelsea. It will be more like NewCastle beating Chelsea. Definetly far from one o the best in the world, but you dont need to be stupid and compare them to Reading. Wasnt you the one saying Corinthians had a big chance of winning CWC a few months ago? EDIT: @Jcar92, relax. He is just having one of his many jerk reactions!
  17. Jim, I cant express how happy I am for having found this awesome forum! Great work and I can finally wirte on my IPad!
  18. It depends on what you want. You want to be like Maure or Barcelona (reputation)? If Roman really wants us to be the best club in the world we need a top class pivot. It not only is extremely improtant on a 4-2-3-1, but it also stops the team from having a super attacking mentality with your midfields dont have ability (Busquets, Vidal, De Rossi, etc). Like I said, Mikel is good enough, but he is not world class.
  19. Mate, I still have not read it yet, so I wont judge. I just think you should have waited until he had a game alongside a proper DM... EDIT: You see, most of the time Rambo and Oscar did not know who should have been the DM and CM. In Benitez Loserpool, one marked the opponents playmaker (CM, Xabi Alonso) and the other was the midfield space protector who stood in front of the center backs (DM, Mascherano). While attacking, Alonso played as a deep lying playmaker and Mascherano had a minor role, basically composing the midfield and providing help with short passes, runs and corner rebounds. With our double pivot, Ramires and Oscar were incrediblely confused. Sometimes Ramires was the DM in the defensive end but the CM while attacking and vice-versa, with Oscar either. In the first half, it was a mess (see the difference between the first and second picture). In the second half it got a bit better, see how Rambo was more fixed and closer to Luiz/Cahill and Oscar was participating in the build up play with a lot more mobility. However, apart from their confused role and positioning, their individual performances were great and with good intensity (just look at the stats). Since it was more of an emergency, I think this wasnt the game to be judging both of them. I bet they didnt even trained together! In the end, your observations were good though.
  20. I should have watched a nPower League 2 game!
