Mata is a good person, genuinely humble! I believe he is playing at his best level, he will be what we already saw, not much improvement left (which is not bad, he is definetly playing at a super high level). What will indeed improve is the team and the players around him! I am certain we found a loyal and amazing servant to the club, incredible transfer. A true blue! :blue scalf:

How many players will leave QPR this summer? Make your bets people!

He is basically having 1 season and a half... First, there are a lot of confusion with Brazilian calendar. The season starts in February and ends in December. From Feb-April, only State Championships are played (traditional, long forgoten pretigious, tournaments), alongside the group stage of Libertadores. Between June and July are the later stages of Libertadores. From May-Dec, we play Campeonato Brasileiro. Sul-Americana is played from Aug-Dec (but since Inter was in Libertadores, they dont play it). Copa do Brasil is played throughout the whole year. In 2010, he was able to terminate his contract with Sao Paulo FC at the age of 18 (when the contract changes from youth to professional), deciding to join Internacional. He broke into the team (regularly) in 2011. He played about 30-35 games overall, with amazing displays at FIFA U-20 WC (hattrick in the final). In 2012, Oscar had his contract put in jeopardy, because Brazilian Court said SPFC had the right to sign him (since they pratically raised him since a kid). He played the first 9 games of the season in Campeonato Gaucho (State Championships, not League Cup). He also played the frist 3 games of Libertadores. After that, it took about 2-3 months for him and the two clubs to reach an agreement (Inter payed 10 miilion euros to SPFC). He said this was a very sad momment of his life, because he would go train everyday and saw his buddies going to the games and he had to stay at home watching. When it was all clear, he had time to play the second-leg of Libertadores first knock-out round and the two games of the quarter-finals (which they lost to Santos and Neymar, the Puskas Goal game if you remember). Before the Olympics, he still participated in 5 League clashes.... In London, he was transfered to Chelsea for 25 million euros and played every single game of the competition, being one of the very few players (along with Marcelo and Damiao) to not get hammered after that shameful Mexico lost. Since then, we all know how things went. This has been a very long year and a half for Oscar, lots of games and lots of adjustments. I only wish RDM had stayed so he could have more opportunities at his position and not at shit RW with shit FSW! I am more than certain Oscar will have a better next season though. He will work on his body and will be way more familiar with England and English. I am also very happy Luiz is there to help him!

I think Benitez doesn't care about a top4 finish. He wants two trophies on his CV and that is all he cares... So, Luiz will probably play!

Alright, you live in Germany, so no jokes this time! Do you live close to Darmstad or know someone who does? WELCOME! :blue scalf:

You were revealed? WOW, I bet you were a success...
-
You seriously think a Yankee deserves a cool welcome to TC? BOOOOOOO! New Yorker, huh? Just kidding mate, I hope you have fun in the forum and that Juninho scores some great free-kicks for the Red Bulls!
-
This is bad, when you had very low hopes we knocked Manure out...
-
Totally agree, unfortunately! (agreeing with a bieber fan? Pfft) Ctiy is still the best team in their day, they just cant have those amazingly luck wins Utd always have...
-
Why? It doesnt change anything being 2nd or 3rd... I prefer City to trash Manure because I hate them!
-
Done. One thing though, some repetitive questions there mate...
-
No surprise there, I just hope Abramovich has already agreed terms with José!
-
I have been very, very critical of you. However, this is actually a very reasonable question...And the answer, unfortunatelly, is NO. With the possibility of a new top CM arriving, how crucial will Lampard be to us?
-
OOOH, I AM SO DUMB! I thought you were asking me to set the clock on my profile settings to one hour forward! SORRY!
-
Have you ever asked yourself why Oscar wears Brazil #10 and Coutinho doesnt even make the cut?
-
Depends where the nickname comes from, I know many people who dont like their nicknames because it is usually a banter or even a bullying. Overall, it is usually only used because we are way too lazy and names like Rafael, Fernando, etc, are too big for us to say it, LOL.

Rest as many important players as possible, we must be able to hold on a 2 goal lead even with the reserves team! ManCity and Fulham are far more important!
-
He can, but there are some problems with it... 1. He will need a massive pay cut to be economic viable, something like 100k/week less than what he is making. 2. He has no place in a 4231, his main position doesnt really exists there. However, if Mourinho returns to his 433, he becomes useful again (not really the word I was looking for). 3. How important is his leadership, really? I mean, it hasnt changed our results much this season... 4. Lampard is expensive and puts pressure on managers to play him due to his immensive and beautiful history. Is that the best for Chelsea going forward? Isnt it better to buy someone like Modric/Moutinho and let Frank follow with his life? Overall, I honestly hope he stays, but we got to view the club's point of view as well.

I dont know how English culture is, but Spanish/Brazilian are strongly based on nicknames. Once it sticks to the person, it doesnt matter where it came from or if it is supposed to be careful or cute or whatever. It is just a simpler way to call the person! I can tell this from personal experience, there are people who hate me and call me Rapha (my name is Raphael). It doesn't mean it is friendly, but just and easier and more common way to call me... Calling Benitez "Rafa" has become very usual, so it means absolutey nothing!

But then the post's time will be wrong, wont it? I have to change one to fix the other?

LOOOOOOL at "Torres isnt back", always good to make that clear! Overall it was a very Manure win and we always complain we never have those types of game, so I am not too bothered with our performance. The 3 points is what ultimately matters. Credit to Benitez though, he has been decent in this marathon we are having. Now we got to travel to Moscow, comeback to play City in Wembley and then another final's like games at Fulham and Liverpool...
-
I second that!

FUCK YEAH, VERY MUCH NEEDED 3 POINTS!
