I still think he needs more time and given more first team appearances. The problem is he came on as a sub too many times and tried too hard to impress which can cause a player to play like a headless chicken. I see his failings as Jose error to properly gel and develop him into the team. On the other hand Willian frustrates me even more. He kills great counter attacks and slows down any momentum we have when in attack. When he receives the ball at a decisive moment he will always hold the ball and wait for 3 seconds killing the moment which allows the opponents to recompose and defend tighter. I would get rid of him after the season and give Schurrle one more season but under Jose i don't think so. Schurrle also has a world cup medal.

I suggested this formation more as an extra option to have than to play week in week out. Luis and Cesar would give us the width in attack and come back to defend when needed and they are both good enough to excel as wing backs. Also Ivanovic is now getting older i'd prefer him to play as CB.

I think it would be worthwhile to see if we can play the following formation as I believe it suits our teams strengths while incorporating Luis and Cesar as solid wing backs. Hazard can play behind Costa in a free role to destroy the opponent's defence opening up space and playing in team mates and scoring a few himself.

Ok where to start. Ivanovic was poor and did not hit a decent cross at all today.Luis had a great opportunity to cross for our 2 big forwards but he overhit it.Terry got caught out twice today trying to play the offside trap giving 1 goal away.Willian takes too many touches killing the moment and needs to be more direct.We need better squad rotation. Luis and Drogba was not match sharp today due to lack of full games.Overall we need to be more decisive and direct in the final 3rd. We are trying to hard to play like Arsenal. Jose needs to be less stubborn with his formations.
