Seems to be highly rated. Mauricio Pochettino backs Juan Cuadrado to shine for Chelsea Chelsea will be signing a "top player'' in Juan Cuadrado, according to Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino. The 26-year-old Cuadrado is likely to complete his move from Fiorentina to Stamford Bridge over the weekend. The Colombia international could play a major role in the Capital One Cup final when Chelsea meet Tottenham at Wembley, with Pochettino an admirer of his talent. "He is a top player,'' the Argentinian replied when asked how highly he rated Cuadrado. "He is a decisive player. He is very strong. I've watched him a lot playing for Colombia, his national team. [Jose] Pekerman and Nestor Lorenzo, the manager and assistant manager for Colombia, are my friends. I speak always about Cuadrado. He is a top player.'' Spurs were destined to come up against Cuadrado when they play Fiorentina in a two-legged Europa League tie in February, but now they could face him in the Capital One Cup final instead. And Pochettino is backing the former Udinese man to make a mark for the Blues. "In both cases we would have played against him,'' he added. "You never know but he has all the attributes to be successful here. He is a very good player. He's a wing-back. He can play like a winger and like a full-back. He is strong, he is powerful and he is very technical.''

I feel Oscar should be playing as a Box to Box midfielder and Cesc or Hazard should play the #10 role.
-
I know i'll get flamed for this but I feel like Cesc is not giving enough during games. His stats look good but when you watch him in a game he seems slow and lethargic for a box to box midfielder. I want the old Cesc from the Arsenal days, one with endless energy, grit and determination. Otherwise best to play him in the #10 role and let Oscar be the B2B Midfielder next to Matic.

Why are all the football governing bodies so lame? FIFA, UEFA and now the FA. They need to raise the quality of referees. Michael Olver should be dropped a division for missing two clear penalties. Twat.
-
I always thought it was a mistake to let him go as I rated him watching him in the warm up games. Seemed like he had class to him watching those early games.
-
Win this game and I would say the Title is ours.. KTBFFH!!
-
How good is left foot ? I know he is right footed but hopefully is left foot is good enough to cut in from the right wing and shoot with is left foot.
-
We're playing their game. We need to recompose and let the ball do the work for us. Possession and control.
-
Fabregas needs to get more involved in the game and show try move forward with the ball. Too static with the ball and only passing sideways or backwards.
-
Willian is shit. I've been saying all along.
-
OMG seriously cunt of a Ref.
-
This Ref is fukuen gay scum..
-
Good stream. Thanks!

Now this is a must win game at home to the red poo. Lose and we will have dug a very deep hole in team spirit and belief to go on to win the League and CL.

Didier Drogba wants to remain part of Chelsea ‘family’ after this season http://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/jan/26/didier-drogba-chelsea-premier-league Didier Drogba wants to remain part of the Chelsea “family” past the end of the season. After receiving the 2015 Football Writers’ Association Tribute Award in London on Sunday night, Drogba said: “When you have achieved so much and won so many trophies like we have done in the past 10 years, that creates something special. I hope, and the club makes me believe, I am part of this big family, so we are going to find the best thing for both of us to promote the club in the best way.” The Ivory Coast forward returned to Chelsea during the summer after spells with Shanghai and Galatasaray but has seen nothing confirmed when his current deal expires. However, the 36-year-old indicated his plans very much remain with Chelsea, either on or off the pitch. He continued: “When I left this club the first time I was saying I had done everything I wanted to do but I think now that I did not do everything. I think there is more to do. “I love this club and would love to be part of this club for the future, with the new players.” Yes Sir you are family. Roman let him stay as an ambassador for our club.

Now that I've calmed down after yesterdays loss. I have done some thinking and believe this loss can be the catalyst for our team to fight harder and become even more hungry for trophies. Knowing Jose im sure he will use the loss to light a fire with the squad. I believe we will win our next two games..

From what what I've seen on youtube I like him. Seems quick and with a killer left shot. Willian frustrates me more than Mikel and Ramires atm..\ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZvxXm6F2g1s

Must own them by 3 goals with a proper XI. Than carry the momentum and destroy City.. Lose this two games and our seasons done. KTBFFH!!!!!
-
Why were there free men running unmarked onto a free shot for I think 3 of their goals. Surely Matic seems to have been missed..
-
Fark the league cup and we should have played this starting XI. The FA cup we should play with a strong XI as it means something. On the brighter side we have more time to focus on the League and CL.
-
We now have to win the league no excuse Jose..
-
2-4 Fark me..

7 mins xtra time..
