Robinho was actually always overrated. Even when he was in Brazilian League he was never as good as Neymar. Robinho was very good here, Neymar was destroying the league. On topic, Hazard has the edge on Neymar on pretty much everything bar goal scoring, Neymar is very decisive and he has a tendency of scoring important goals too which brings him to a level close to Hazard but I'd say Hazard is still slightly ahead. The only instance when Neymar would be a better fit is in a team in need of that clutch player in front of the goal. Hazard, on the other hand, has a toolset more suitable to make everyone around him play better and is also less selfish. I don't think he'll ever develop a goal scoring hunger or become a goal machine but that's ok imo. He's already one of the best players in the world as is.

That's... weird. But it's true, my brother went to a Mexico match in Recife last year and he told me they would shout "PUTO!" in goal kicks and also free kicks and corners.
-
It means whore, prostitute. I was trying to figure what else they could be saying but no idea. Puta sounds a bit like chuta (shoot) but then they would be shouting that whenever Corinthians created a good chance, not when the opposing team was in possession. Or maybe they could be saying "Puta que pariu" and you can only understand the first word, I don't know.
-
Shouting puta makes no sense at all. Definitely Corinthians fans.

Am I crazy for reading a big chunk of it ? Even bookmarked it to finish tomorrow. Anyways, I thought it was pretty much common knowledge that different people develop in different rhythms. And that applies to pretty much everything, physical aspects – height, musculature; emotional aspects – maturity, emotional control; intelligence, etc. You have people who start growing quite a lot at 12 years old, others at the end of puberty. You have geniuses who peak very early like Mozart and others way later like Beethoven. It's pretty much impossible to predict how people will develop their talents and proficiency at any given task. Also, I don't even know why you waste your time. And I guess you know what I'm talking about.

They're Corinthians fans, what would you expect? Of course they are weird. Rmpr supports Palmeiras.

The goal for those wondering. http://streamable.com/ly6i

This. Even if it was too risky to smash it to the sidelines he could have smashed it backwards and give them a corner, trying to dribble with a first touch from his weak foot was risky and it didn't pay off.
-
It wasn't a good pass from Iva by any means but even then that goal is mostly on Courtois, his decision to try to dribble past the player was one of the riskiest he could have made. He redeemed himself later on but that goal is at least 90% on him.

@nyikolajevics, loved your avatar

It's real simple, Fabregas relies on passes more than anything, when we face teams that are using at least 9-10 players inside and around the box to defend and our own players are not clever in their movement he can't excel. We saw a few glimpses of first half of the season Fabregas in the second half when we attacked with way more intensity and better movement. On top of that, most of the players in front of Cesc prefer to play with the ball at their feet, their first instinct is not to make runs (bar Costa, who seems to position himself wide often in the matches for some reason – making us have 0 runners inside the box), I mean, Hazard does it occasionally but you can see clearly it's not the first thing on his mind, the same with William, and Oscar really isn't a pro footballer right now. Our offensive moves are really lacking, I'm not sure what our players do during training but they're certainly not being coached in the way we build our attacks – slow, predictable, no overlapping, no one running into space.

Cuadrado looks rusty as hell.

Almost too easy.

But to be honest Oscar was playing better back then. He's improved a bit defensively but seems to have regressed in every other department. Most people have short memories but he used to outperform Neymar regularly in our NT. And I don't mean like in 1 game every 5, but really all the time. He used to be the best player in the team by far. He's never played to that level with us but he's never been this far from his best level either. Not even when he had just got promoted to São Paulo's first team. And he doesn't even have those kind of performances for the NT anymore. Also, every time he takes a dip in performance at one point in the season his good performance level becomes actually a performance when he didn't play like shit, not when he's actually played well. In his first season with us I can even remember a few times when he dribbled past several players, now he can't even seem to control the ball. It's almost like he's turned into another player. Baffling. Just for comparison, some highlights from Oscar from the times of his first season: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=srPfezr8Ni0 2:16, for example, he has a good first touch in a difficult ball, dribbles past his marker and scores. Now I'd struggle to see him showcasing a single one of those skills, never mind all three of them in the same play.

Yeah, I was kinda surprised with how much joy pretty much every other football fan has received our elimination.

In an ideal world you would be there to make sure he gets the punishment he deserves, no more no less. Even if he's guilty, perhaps the prosecutor/judge will try to sentence him to more years than what he deserves, your job would be to make his sentence fair. People seem to think if you're defending a criminal it is because you think what he did is right but it is not like that. When you are a state lawyer you can afford to do that. If you're a private one unfortunately you cannot, because if you won't do your best to set him free there are others who will, so you would be missing a lot of potential clients. Thank you.

I think I remember at least one of the curve balls, you mentioned it in the thread "how are you feeling" a while back if I'm not mistaken. Hope you're feeling better and sorting out everything. As for me, I'm just trying to study the most I can. I've recently graduated from university and got my degree in Law. After that, you mainly have two options here in Brazil - to be a private lawyer or public service jobs. You have to take exams to be able to do any of the two. I've already passed the exams to be a lawyer but that's not what I want to do so I'm studying to apply to the exams for public service jobs, i.e federal police, judge, prosecutor, state lawyer etc. They're more difficult than the exams to be a private lawyer. Hopefully I'll be able to grab something good until 2016.

They're really lacking content to publish.

That looks like a picture of a rpg game I'd like to play.

@BluesChick, long time no see. Glad to see you posting again

Oh, I didn't know you felt that way about me
-
I've been studying quite a lot lately. I intend to be taking a lot of exams for public service in the near future and unlike at the university, I gotta beat other people in those, not just reach a certain grade to pass. Right now I'm nowhere near the level I have to be to pass the most difficult selections. But you can always hit me up on whatsapp Also, my notebook is dead because my battery stopped working, I will be buying a new one soon, but they're so fucking expensive (about 600 bucks).
-
That's how it's always been. When the player is on form 4 good games becomes two months or more, if he is performing badly then 4-5 good months become 1 or 2 good games in the entire season and so on.

I was disagreeing with sarcasm and am able to explain why. Racism in many ways is a belief (that some races/ethnicities are superior to others), now, you can be a racist and never exteriorize a behaviour that treats others as inferiors (a racist behaviour) and it's also possible to display racist behaviour in isolated cases while not being a racist. It's like if a group of people met a rival fan in the metro and upon noticing the Christian Rosary he wears they start chanting about the Christians who were murdered by Isis or in the Crusades, or even, I don't know, harassing him about how God doesn't exist and showing him pictures of Richard Dawkins. Despite this showing, these people read the bible every day, go to the church every week and try to follow every mandament in the bible - they are catholics. Now does the event in the metro make them atheists or some sort of Christian-haters? Or was it an attempt to have a dig at that person? This is all I'm saying. Those people may or may not be racists but I wouldn't jump to the conclusion they are racists yet. When I used to go to bars to watch São Paulo play I can even remember black people saying stuff like: "it was always going to be a fucking nigga that would kick us out of the tournament" or "fucking niggas always fuck up everything" against black players for scoring against São Paulo. While it's possible to be black and racist against blacks I'm pretty sure it was not the case. It's just people venting their frustration in irrational ways. It is not an excuse to be an asshole but there are degrees to how bad actions can be. In the end I'm just nitpicking because I don't like how oversensitive everyone seems to be nowadays.
