RLC was one of our best players last season. Even Man City had problems dealing with his physical attributes combined with his technique. You could agrue that maybe CHO is not the type of big player we need at thsi current state, but RLC definetely is a great player. His has everything apart from stamina.

Lampard has a lot of potential and this team has a lot of potential. But Lamps messed up with the starting line up. I think that Barkley should have started with Mount, so Jorginho could have gotten some rest. Jorginho was one of our best players against Pool and he run his ass off that day. A fresh Barkley with Mount, who did not play that much against Pool, would have given us more stability and especially a better pressure off the ball. I also wanted to start Willian, but I don´t think that would have done anything good today. I think that Lamps should give Batsman a chance next week, even though I don´t think that he is suited for Lamps system. But Batsman can score goals. He may not be involved in much else, but he can score goals at least sometimes and we currently need a goalscorer. Giroud is not a goalscorer and Tammy is very good for the last 20 minutes. Also guys, don´t forget that RLC is injured and he was one of our best players last season. His physicality combined with his technique is something that Chelsea really need in midfield. CHO is also injured and he is way better than Willian. Also, CHO can cross the ball and with Giroud and Tammy, we have great headers. It is pretty sad that we currently have no good crossers at all. James is also injured and Azpi is getting worse every season and this is probably his last season as a starter for this club. James is a beast and he can cross too. We had three tough matches a the beginning of the season and we have phases in the game where we look very good, Last season under Sarri, I remember that we had matches, especially against the big teams, where we looked awful 90 minutes straight. Lamps improved our fluidity in our offensiv phase. Our weakness is probably that we don´t have the enough concentration in our midfield and we lack in goalscorers.

Mount scored a goal today, so Lamps made the right choice. Someone could argue that maybe Barkley should have started for Jorginho.

Because Batsman can´t hold up the ball as well and his link up play is not as beautifully as Girouds and Tammys style of play.Tammy had a very good game and his missed chance was really not easy to take.He could have done better, at least shot near the goal but still not easy to score from his position when he had still two defenders trying to get the ball of him

I can´t believe how much hate Abraham gets. He did everything well apart from that one shot, which he missed and that one was not easy to take. Apart from that, his hold up play was very good and he made some great passes. Willian was hopeless yes I agree, but Abraham was very good.

Lamps wants pressing machines and Michy is not the type of player that really fits in Lamps system. Giroud is a little bit better suited, but not ideal either.

You know that Abraham had maybe three shots at target in his two recent games, right? Ronaldo needs seven shots before he scores a goal, Messi needs six shots before he scores a goal. It is not like he missed twenty shots and did not score a goal. People need to have a fair judgement on Youth, but instead they criticise them for anything.

We played better with Giroud in the first half, but not because of Giroud. The overall performance of our starting eleven was very good, so Giroud got a lot of chances, which he messed up most of the times due to the fact that he lacked pace or he was just offside. He scored a great goal though. The second half with Giroud was way worse because our team dropped their concentration. This aso did nothing to do with Giroud. It was just that our team was not that good compared to the first half

Sometimes I think that when a youth team player does not score a chance or make the best pass in a certain situation, millions of Chelsea fans come to criticise those youth players for messing up one situation. On the other hand, those people would have never criticised players like Drogba for missing the same chances. If prime Drogba missed those chances, nobody would have cared. Abraham has a lot of potential. He is tall (we do not have good crossers and that is not Tamys fault), he is fast, good fist touch and hold up play, What I also think is funny is that fucking Ronaldo needs 7 shots( Messi needs 6 shots) before he actually scores a goal. Nobody cares if Ronaldo or Messi miss those other shots before their goal. Abraham had two or three shots at target in his two matches against the best of the best teams. Chelsea Fans have crazy expectations when it comes to youth, even though some of our youth players were better than our first team players, but they still don´t realise that. People also started to write off CHO already, after he played a normal game against Pool. Chelsea Fans did not even think about the fact that he is a left winger or a second striker. He rarely played as a right winger at youth level, but most Chelsea Fans don´t think about those kind of facts and just say that he is not good enough. Look at CHOs player thread after the Pool match. You can also look at RLCs player thread what people were writing about him when he was playing under Mou, Conte or whatever. I was the one defending RLC because I always knew his potential. But you can´t expect from Chelsea Fans to actually watch Youth games or have a fair opinion on youth players when they are given first team chances. That is too much to ask for the average Chelsea fan. Chelsea Fans and Real Madrid fans are so much alike... Also, people wrote off KDB, even though anyone with eyes could see that he had world class potential. Probably the same people thought that Oscar and Willian were world class players and those players don´t even have any potential to become world class players too begin with. Oscar scored one great goal against Juventus and he was hailed as the next big thing. Apart from that, he did not have any great qualities to become world class. Some people in this forum said that Hazard was not world class, not a big game player, not constand enough etc. ..He left us as one of the best players that have ever played for this club. There were a lot of times were people did not rate him enough.

What great passes did Tammy get in the United game?I don´t remember any of great passes at all and he still hit the post against United. Today, it was the first time Tammy got some very good balls and he should have scored that one goal where he missed, but I have seen many great strikers miss those kind of chances. Tammy was the one of the reasons why we even got to the penalties. Obviously, he needs to improve, but his first two chances were against fucking United and Pool.

And he was offside how many times? And how many promising counter attacks did he fuck up because of his pace?

He actually played a pretty good match. He even once outmuscled Van Dijik.His pace gave Pool some problems. Missing a penalty is not the end. Azpi missed penalties, JT missed penalties etc. He also gave us a penalty
