Funny thing is, from these pre-season games I've been more impressed by Tomori than Zouma. If Lampard wants the same marauding CB system he had at Derby then I would think Tomori is more suited to it than Zouma is. Which is sad since I think we all like Zouma a lot.

His influence on the club has been massive and we will feel it for years to come. He is loved, and every fan loves that our favorite player still has the same love for us.

I saw like 80 minutes of the game. He went missing for a long period in the second half. His teammates did him no favors though since they were shit during that period. Playing hoofball up to Altidore, who fucked the play up 9 out of 10 times. When Mexico scored Pulisic got more into the game. Kind of took responsibility that way. But whatever he tried ended up in nothing mainly because of clueless teammates. Tbh so many schoolboy errors made by both teams in this final. His passing is pretty spot on most times. He really has killer speed and dribbling. Gets fouled a lot. What most surprised me is that he is pretty promising at taking corners and long free kicks. He might be the corner taker next season, overtaking Willian (who sucks at them).

Yeah the situation is weird to say the least. Especially now when Jamal Musiala did not sign a scholarship with us, opting to sign for Bayern, and that surprised even the Chelsea staff. It came out of nowhere. Also, Musialas' agent is Bradley Hudson-Odoi, CHO's agent and brother. Although, I am pretty positive that CHO will sign a new contract and play here for us at Chelsea. The club is putting a lot of faith into him. Faith that other as talented players wish they would have got from their clubs.

We were also extremely close to getting Neymar before a year or two before he accepted to join Barca. Somehow I feel like the culture here at Chelsea wouldn't enable them like United and Paris do. In United all the players act more like they are rappers instead of footballers.

Pogba and Neymar: talented players but too toxic to take on the team. We are lucky to have stars that seem like "normal" people. Much more humble and get on with the job.
