This ones fine -just need to demolish the Bates Motel complex and increase capacity -
Are we sure this happened -and its not some collective hallucination ?? Not one mention of it on BBC MOTD. Oh I see!! its because Liverpool can do no wrong. Just stop for a moment and try to envisage the continuous footage on a Sky HD loop if Carlo had sworn, the ensuing fine, and how Chelsea have '' ruined football''

Hes good in one way because you know he wants the club to be successful and loves the club and he has loads of cash. But someone some day has to say leave the mangement to a a manager and his team
-
Exactly. Whats a few million when youre minted ? Bottom line. Abramovich has too many yes men millionaires hanging on his word. We need someone with a pair to say ''hang on a minute -you cant just dispose of people if you want a rich vein of form for the club''. Biggest fuck up was sacking Jose, and then trying to cover it up by having a constant stream of possibles.
-
8% increase on average. Taking the piss. What a brilliant atmosphere next season with the megastore day trippers Oh well , will pay off another sacked mangers contract I suppose

Thats true. Think that is the Russian way of doing things or hes just an autocrat. I used to despise the way the media used to say it's ''Romans plaything'' -but I'm statrting to think thats an apt description. That said its a far better position to be in than a Glazer/Lerner/Kroenke/ Debt Franchise. Ancellotti is chilled/cool Italian stylee, and when hes pushed out..... a shrug, a raised eyebrow, and a few million in the bank. hes not bothered. To be manager of Chelsea is precarious but very lucrative. We do need some continuity though -a manager with a track record , left uninterfered with, and his own team round him.
-
Yup. Think most is speculation to be honest -they're just going on past events. So...... going by past events he is on his way then. To me Abramovich is a bit of a control freak , and is frightened of a manager with all his entourage -ala Mourinho. I'm guessing he likes to isolate people. We have Carlo who is similar to Ranieri, lovely bloke, lacking tactically -(to me since Wilkins departure) Emanalo might as well be a cardboard cut out. Ancellotti should be allowed to stay but let him choose his team round him. Either that or let Hiddink back in. Mourinho wont come back , as the boards egos couldnt admit they're wrong

Shall be going to less games now Lets drive out the last of the faithful

Which team do you support after we are knocked out?

I dont like our history with Barca -that said I love them for political reasons , how the club is run, and because Royal Madrid , the Kings team is heavily subsidised, and that Spain have fucked over the Catalans. So for that reason I would like to see Barca beat Yernited 5- 0 at Wembley. :champions: -
No you misunderstand - its not people here calling for his head because he (or any other manager at sw6) fails to win the CL, its the board, or more specifically Abramovich. The opinions here are just people pissing in the wind, and have no bearing on actual events Ancelotti or any other manger should be allowed to stay and build with their own backroom staff, otherwise its a waste of time.......
-
At the end of the day you can play fantasyfootball manager till the cows come home but its what Abramovich does and interferes with that matters. To those who want Ancelotti sacked, Is it really a tenable way to run a club by sacking the manager every other season because he fails the win the most difficult competition there is to win in club football? Sure, Real Madrid do it, but they're a special case in every way. Remember, we're still recovering from the self-inflicted wound of the club hierarchy driving out Mourinho. That was the original act of idiotic hubris, based in part on the fact that Mourinho failed to win the CL for us in only 3 attempts (though it didn't take him long to win it once he found pastures new). Abramovich IS obsessed with winning the CL, and it isn't doing us any favours. Secondly, sacking Ancelotti only begins to make sense if you replace him with someone better. Well, who's it gonna be? I don't exactly see a glittering array of candidates on the horizon. Hiddink is the only one who might be feasible, and arguably an improvement. Apart from him, who's left? Rijkaard? O'Neill??? We'll never bring Mourinho back -- that would be tantamount to the men at the top admitting their colossal blunder, and their egos will never permit that. So, is yet another spin of the managerial merry-go-round really the way to go? Or do we try something different and let the man who won a measly double last season at his first attempt have just a little more time?"

Drogba did make all the difference. Boswinga might have been a good choice the way that Portuguese ref protected Nani -there was obviously a mationality thing going on. Also anyone notice Nani and that little mexican shit waving imaginary cards at the ref , it swayed it in their favour.
-
If we're going to split hairs it was 2 and a half years ago -still two and half to go. Bloke will be edging 36 then and is clearly not that motivated for 50% of the time now. So.......my point is, it was a shrewd bit of business to ensure the millioms keep rolling in to his bank account, but not so shrewd for the club allowing a culture of complacency. I stilll say players pay at the top level, being the obscene amounts remunerated should be performance related
-
Wilkins comments on Sky pre match showed he knows more than Carlo. And as for Emenalo.......
-
Think Ancelloti should stay for at least another term -but one thing that has been missing for month s-how to get 2 up in the first half and keep a lead.....
-
Lucrative four year contract that his agent wangled was ridiculous. He should be used as a squad player the way rednose uses Giggs and Scholes.....
-
UEFA have a ready made final in place. -all the invites have been sent out for the Barca and Man Utd dignitaries at Wembley already...... if Chelsea are in front get ready for the dodgy decisions......
-
Ashley Cole could get 2 yellows . Drogba hacked in front of goalline official, then ref waves plays on sounds likely........
-
Come on then chaps -what fantastic UEFA decision will cost us tonight ? My prediction --Essien to be sent off and they get a penalty in 81st minute
-
Kaloooo gets a bad reaction because his goal ratio should be 1 every 30 mins. Incredibly frustrating at times, but an incredible athlete (and to me should always be a supersub) and theres no getting away from the fact his goal record at present is best. Hes having a hard time at the moment -his family came within a hairs breadth of death -and his Dad is yet to be moved to safety.........
-
''Dont Woryy bout a ting, cause every little ting.......'' Going to have to watch this at home on a dodgy stream Cant risk going to the boozer with loads of wanky blokes in Man Utd shirts, could get messy
