Well we all know what the media is like when reporting on Chelsea or football generally. There was no seriously injured policeman as Sky initially said, and NO petrol bomb as they also said There were however definitely hooded police agitators starting the trouble: Watch the BBC footage filmed from above at 16:18 when a cordon of police pull a violent hooded protester seen punching other protesters behind the cordon to relative safety where he hides out of view like a rat behind a telephone booth. OK a few windows got smashed at the banks who are having us all over, big deal -but that is nothing to the violence and deaths incurred from the Cameron/Clegg cuts on Health and Social services,

I was there. Baseball bats ? Didnt see any of that, thoughh all the police are like Robocop now and have so much weaponry ”We got drunk, trashed the Ritz & then walked down Piccadilly to loot a few items from Fortnums.” Boris Johnson, Bullingdon Club, 1986.

David Luiz - two sides to the coin?
Fulham Broadway replied to Madmax's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
He will get a red or two, almost guaranteed. These will come out of sheer exhuberance and enthusiasm, not through temprament. but I can see them coming in crunch Barca/Yernited type games. It will be a price worth paying though as hes one of the best players I've seen in years, and probably the best debut ever in blue. -
We need to see some conga/samba type celebrations.......

:goodpost: ...and if you eat a box of Jammy dodgers the taste kindalingers (cunnilingus) I'll get my coat

Mmm. I know !! Lets fire 200 Cruise missiles (costing over £1m each) at ''strategic'' targets at a regime where the leader is a bit ''difficult'' with Africas biggest oil reserves, but ignore slaughter by even more mad despots, but are forthcoming with the oil. Hey we can dress it up as ''humanitarian''....... ''BBBBbuttttt didnt we do that in IRAQ?? '' ''Yeah and we got away with that......in fact wouldnt it be cool if we bombed them on the anniversary day that we attacked Iraq??''

Kalou probably the most influential on the game until he went off -he added another dimension. Havent read all the posts here but I assume that our Brazilian duo are getting credit where credit is due. :eyebrows: They really are a bit toothless without the bacon necked werewolf, and lets hope hes back when they play United......

Over the hill. Get rid.

China and Russia have both abstained because they bump off their own people in Chechnya and Tibet. Double standards going on here -youre .allowed to kill your own people in Bahrain, Oman , UAE, Saudi --Oh hang on, just a minute, we've got big BAe contracts with them and they supply oil for weapons and torture equipment, rightho......and as for 3 million killed in Congo , well fuck'em theyre not economic consumers.....

Terry reappointed as England captain

Yup. it was public votes, so there are some objective observers out there, and not just wankers who have some misguided loyalty to his geordie racist ex. As far as JT is concerned, i've watched England for many years, and no one comes close to the sense of occasion and pride he has. from singing the National anthem to wearing the 3 lions. He has more pride in playing for England than Chelsea, -now whether that is misguided or not, is open to much debate -but the fact is, there is no better candidate to be captain of his country. -
Drugs test avoider Ferdinand was at risk from missing Manchester Uniteds crucial end of season run in it was announced yesterday. The slightly bonkers hairlipped referee harasser, slipped whilst trying to avoid a drugs test it was confirmed from Old Trafford sources. An Old Trafford insider said ‘’the lad was roasting a granny with Rooney , when Chiquitito said ‘’Hey gringos, you wanna get high on my Mexican talcum powder ?’’ At which point he produced the biggest line of narcotics ever seen. At the same time the wild eyed shot stoppers phone signalled he was due a random substance abuse test. The resulting trip and skid on Hernandez ‘ coke led to an anterior cruciate ligament rupture. Or something. Alex Ferguson –speaking from his cage, said on a videolink to MUTV ‘’The big coloured lads done his knee in’’ before burning an effigy of a referee. This is a triple blow for The Glazers Investment Debt Fund, as the Rafael twins went missing after mumbling something about ‘’the new Jedward’’, and Nemanja Vidic was due to appear in The Hague before the United Nations on War crimes charges.

Yup. Anyone seen ''The Cove'' ? The whole sea is red where theyve rounded up thousands of dolphins, they're stabbing these creatures with knives and sharp poles -agonising deaths. And theyre beating up photographers from the west who are trying to film it.... That said, I've had around, and I'm not exagerrating, 25 ''joke'' texts about the tsunami which were pretty tasteless to be honest.....

Chelsea frustrated but progress without trouble
Fulham Broadway replied to BlueLion.'s topic in Chelsea Articles
Good report BL. The fluidity and passing were good -but the finishing was straight out of the Emirates Stadium. Thats the concern, I cant see Barca, Real or Shaktar drawing a blank against Copenhagen at home, even if they were two up to the good away from home..... -
Ferguson criticises envelope SIR Alex Ferguson has questioned the fitness of the stationery that was used to deliver his touchline ban. 'You're a disgrace!' They then retreated to their unmarked concrete bunker and their whereabouts will remain secret until Ferguson starts giving interviews with Sky Sports again. But Sir Alex immediately questioned the ban, saying: "The GSM of this paper isn't fit to grace my mailbox and I'm pretty sure the tree it was produced from was owned by a Russian billionaire. "In my day bans used to arrive hand written on a heavy vellum scroll, delivered by a proper, uniformed page. It was a typographically-ornate man's game in those days." The FA will now investigate Ferguson's criticism of the font they used to write the phrases 'stunning hypocrite' and 'immensely unlikeable old ballbag'. Meanwhile the ban will require Ferguson to watch the next five United games from inside a cage suspended from an airship 300ft above the pitch. He will be delivered to the cage on a gurney in the manner of Hannibal Lecter in Silence Of The Lambs while the FA has also made it clear it will not tolerate Ferguson commenting on the toughness of any match official's nipples. But Ferguson was unrepentant, adding: "There's a lack of quality in stationery throughout the game, from the stiffness of the red cards my players very, very occasionally get, to the court bundles we use to secure those super-injunctions to stop people knowing why my players had to have emergency rectal surgery." FA officials imposed the ban after the permanently enfunked Manchester United manager fired a dead horse at a referee in protest at a disputed throw-in.

Blues to face Man United in Champions League
Fulham Broadway replied to Tomo's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Think we'd do Shaktar -could be tricky over there, but would seal it at SW6. Yids -they would give it 110% but we would overcome. The two Spanish teams would be the worst draw -and I think Barca will win it, Mourinho would tactically win by the odd goal. We would beat Yernited, Schalke, Inter and the Arse over two legs imo. -
Fans/Supporters of Chelsea are the WORST !
Fulham Broadway replied to TrueChelsea's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Just noticed this. He does of sorts have a point. ''Can you hear the Chelsea sing ?'' Quite appropriate last night. As someone has said the TV sound is partly responsible. When you're there, and amongst the Chels faithful its all you can hear, but different on the TV. It was a reversal in Denmark -their home support was utter gash -
