  1. Odds of 191/1 to guessing it. Thats quite hefty. National Press taking it up now; http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/200...89520-20351088/
  2. http://forums.icnorthwest.co.uk/viewtopic....asc&start=0 Right, I've copied and pasted the post as the link keeps mysteriously disappearing. confused Ultra member Joined: 23 Apr 2007 Posts: 2959 Posted: Fri Mar 14, 2008 10:28 am Post subject: Possible leak of draw -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rumour going around draw has been leaked..... this is no doubt rubbish but if Rumour is true it's LFC - arsenal and Chelsea - fenerbache and manure v roma No bookies will take bets on the draw either....... Let the draw commence. Comeeee on!
  3. The only positive we can take from it is we know Kenyon, says one thing -as he did with Mourinho , and then goes along with exactly the opposite.
  4. Theres a huge gulf between the premiership top four, and then another between the Premiership and the Championship. Again this is down to money, primarily from TV. There will be a pattern of Championship teams coming up and going down again, because 30 million quid a time is a lot to a championship team, until theres a Championship top 3 or 4. These will probably then be up and down like a whores draws. Those homegrown quotas on that other thread should in the long run even football as a whole out though
  5. They'll get £30 million parachute money, will rebuild, and wouldn't be surprised to see them come straight back up tbh. Probably still with Jewell as well.
  6. Exactly there'll be well up for it imo. The nightmare scenario -Moscow, May 08, Liverpool sneak another spawny win......
  7. I think even if Roma get a result in Rome, they'll get spanked at Old Trafford.
  8. Kenyon being interviewed at CL draw '' Grant has a four year contract , and his position isn't dependent on attaining any silverware, he is taking us to the next level'' Dont know how he gets away with it tbh.
  9. Anyone else think hes really Lord Percy from Blackadder ? Ricardo
  10. Kezman returns OK my prediction ManUtd v Chelsea final and we will be losing finalists. BOOOOO!
  11. Like a knife through butter there Mischief. Maybe the club do now see him as dispensible, but my gut feeling is that the clubs moneymen are playing Franks moneymen at their own game, and will not just write a blank weekly cheque for him.
  12. He always makes some public statement every time his contract is renewable. Usually saying how much he loves the club etc...We love you too fat Frank.
  13. Theres a minor standoff and haggling going on, thats all.
  14. At the end of the day he would have got the advice from Harry, Jamie, his agent and Frank Senior to sting them for as much cash as he can. He'll stay -hes not going to get the same cash anywhere else -and the club dont want to risk upsetting the fans anymore than they have presently.
  15. Arsenal, ManUtd or Liverpool could be tricky. Arsenal are now confident and Fibreglass is quite confident they can go on to do the golden double. I have doubts about us coming from behind against a good team and I have doubts about this Chelsea team beating a determined good team. We now appear to have that inconsistency, that wasnt there under Mourinho. Still 12 00 today we'll know who we're to face -(probably be about half twelve in reality).
  16. This ruling can only be a good thing for the game. The Premier League is already too big for its boots, wanting 'game 39' like some big greedy tart whoring itself round the World. The FA doesnt represent other clubs either , its just another branch of the Premier League these days. The TV money has made it into a great big bloated fairground attracting Yank and Jewish money makers. With this ruling other countries will be able to compete, and it'll make away trips and the whole game more interesting, rather than some Harlem Globetrotters freak show.
  17. Well done Fat Frank, 107 goals now -and 4 against any team is top draw.
  18. This thread is right though, we shouldn't get excited. Lampard scored a hatrick against Macclesfield about a year ago ? - we would be in the semis if Grant hadn't comeout with the 'he's injured ' bollocks. Also last night was a perfect opportunity to play two up top -which lets face it we'll have to at some point during the CL -but another opportunity spurned by the 'Fat Cunt'. Like that, nice ring to it. Lets play 4 strikers when we're 6-0 up. Priceless. Should have brought Pizarro on for good measure.
  19. word up bro. Good to see the miraculous recovery to Franks...er....'injury'.
  20. Can understand peoples frustration at SWP. But if he wasnt at Chelsea, people would want him. Top class wingers who dont get crocked, lose the ball are rarer than rocking horse shit. Oddly enough we had quite a few when we were shite -Walker, Houseman, Weller etc. SWP is a cut above most wingers nowadays in as much as he bounces off players, doesnt get injured, and can have blinding games.
  21. When you look at the CL theres four English clubs there. Good on one hand, but the other countries are being left behind. The Premiership is the best league in the World because of TV. This money has attracted the best players. On the other hand the rest of Europe is becoming also rans, Olympiakos were the Greek Champions, who were below average, heading a table of absolute shite. The San Siro, and Bernabeu are no longer places to be feared - so what I'm saying in a roundabout way, unless we want the Champions League to just become another Premiership, the limits on foreign players in any country, can only level out the playing field, and in the long run be a good thing.
  22. Have they set a date for this ? Thought it was sometime off yet.
  23. I've still faith in SWP and Malouda. I think Malouda can be brilliant form/class/temporary/permanent type thing -it's just that he must have been reading Winston Bogardes autobiography or something recently, definitley guilty of cuntish laziness of late. SWP , again can change a game, by opening up defences with pace, just frustrating as fuck sometimes with giving the ball away. One other thing about last night -thought the crossing in the main was pretty abysmal.
  24. I'd put you on there BB I'm going off to start a couple of 'Grants a Right Cunt' threads in a minute, theres only three so far today
  25. Agree about Mancini, bit of a poseur, who doesnt quite cut it. Think Hiddink is most likely. Tbh with our squad and financial backing it doesnt take a managerial genius to get results -the most important factors are the ability to engender a team spirit, to think tactically on their feet, and not upset the Russian/Jewish mafia.
