Blues Missing Mourinho, Claims Kezman
Fulham Broadway replied to the wes's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
He's right though - wouldnt have squandered that lead. If it had been 1-1 he would have the tactical nous to win or hold it. -
So does the CL Cup have our name on it then or what ?
-
What pissed me off mostwas Grant blaming his ineptitude on the players . Kebab merchants was meant in good humour btw -off to Turkey in a few weeks so I'd better behave. Dont know who called them 'Turk cunts' -weren't me guv

Oi Vey! I'm the Special Needs One

You're Avram Grant: Do You Go 4-5-1 Or 4-4-2 Tonight?
Fulham Broadway replied to the wes's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
If I was Avram Grant I'd top myself. Its definitely time he fucked off now. -
Well we didnt take our chances and paid the price -still think we'll do the kebab merchants at the Bridge though. We had too many passes outside the box -and Drogba didnt pass due to greed in the box. What stunning/lucky strike for their second ! You cant prepare for anything like that. Grants veiled attack on the players in his mumbling way just adds to his general cuntishness. And coming out with shite like ''the players need to stay awake'' and ''This is Football'' What a tit.

Well it turns out the ref who ''didnt see'' Hleb being pulled back for a stonewall penalty comes from a village a mile away from where Kuyts family lives in Holland
-
Well theres a few I suppose, the Glaziers, Gaydemark, Randy Lerner but they've all adequate managers at the moment
-
Cheers, not one in Coventry? shame, think theres a few in the Midlands. Wouldnt be my first choice, aussie cnuts, but can't knock the free beer. They're showing both games anyway.

Watched the Roma ManUtd tie, and although the commentators were creaming their pants about Roonaldey I thought they were genuinely lucky. It was poor finishing on Romas part that left it 0-2. Just happened to flick to the Schalke barca game just as they scored, and cant see Schalke getting anything from Camp Nou. SSN are crapping on endlessly about Liverpool history, pedigree, Rafa, Torres, etc etc. I'm hoping Arsenal fucking trounce them tonight. BTW the tabloids are doing free pint vouchers for Walkabouts tonight - got four so far

You're right they've all moaned about fixtures several times. Fergie even took his players out of a tournament (World Club Championship). Hypocritastic.
-
Most of the 39 000 would have been disappointed, but a win was a win, and Boro getting so close to some points, it can only buoy them up for their Yernited game.
-
Always remember when Grant was unveiled, and Fergie said 'hes the right man for the job', barely hiding a big grin.
-
Lol - Fenerbache being mainly Muslims will give that extra 5% to beat us with our Israeli manager, but I'm optimistic on this one. Anyway we'll beat them at the Bridge if it's a stalemate tonight.

Is it Rambo or Borats retard brother ? http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=-_c8tx_8HmI&...feature=related

Matt Upson's Lambo (read This For A Laugh)
Fulham Broadway replied to BahrainiBlue's topic in Football Chat
Probably too dense to realise he could adjust the seat -
Fenerbache have an impressive home record and the stadium will be hostile. We have a fat fraudster for a manager and they have Zico of 1982 World Cup fame. Zico, Socrates, Eder, Junior, Falcao etc names I remember well from Spain 82. However I believe our managerless team will not be intimidated and after the Boro frigidity, I reckon we'll win by a couple as Man utd did. BTW heres their 'top boy' , who is called Rambo. Threatened to kill Chelsea fans. Looks like the sort of gooner you see round Finsbury Park. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=0euce6ITpM4

It does seem ridiculous. Nobble the refs, win the league as a result, then get docked three points. Now theres a deterrent.
-
Lol was fooled by the title, but the quote was a bit of a giveaway. Christian Gross, Neil Warnock, Norman Wisdom...all seem like consumate professionals up against the present encumbent.

Vital Football New reports are circulating this afternoon that Celtic Boss Gordon Strachan has been approached by agents working on behalf of Chelsea Football Club for a managerial position. Details are sketchy but we are infomed that the diminutive Scot, who is one of the few football managers on the planet as charismatic and entertaining as Jose Mourinho has been asked about the manager's job starting in the Summer. It is thought that he has won everything he is going to win north of the border and has long harboured a desire to try his hand at the top level in England. A source close to the negotiations reported: 'Aye, ets reet enough. The wee man has been lined oop noo doot aboot it. Every punter here has been greetin' and moonin all fae the mornin. We dinnae want him tae leave' It is understood that Strachan would bring Jan Vennegoor-af-Hesselink along with him as the long term replacement for Didier Drogba who is understood to have revealed to close friends this morning that he wants to join Juventus. We await further developments with interest! Source; Vital Football. Cunts. I fell for it till I realised it was April 1st. But it also dawned on me how I'd welcome anyone with a football brain other than the present buffoon.

Thats fucking shocking fella. Shows that they think the megastore tat is for the idiots, the poor mugs who actually got the club to where it is. Havent been for a while now, and wont be in the near future -not just the cash- but it has an air of a rich mans plaything at the moment, with an ugly puppet mismanaging. Still Chelsea through and through etc, but christ wasnt it more enjoyable to go when we were shit?! YES, definitely in some ways.

Spurs Confirm Arrest Of Blues Fan
Fulham Broadway replied to the wes's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Dont see what all the fuss is about, it's political correctness gone mad when you cant go to White Hart Lane dresssed as you please.Tcch. -
For me he has to go anyway, regardless of what we achieve. It will be despite him anyway. He got the job by crawly bum licking, is clearly out of his depth, and should never have been allowed anywhere near a top flight club. The reason why there is all this talk of him staying, and him saying ''hes going nowhere'', is because he knows no other club would touch him with a barge pole, and his cover would be blown. The only exception would be another sympathetic Jewish owner.

Porto face match-fixing investigation for same year Mourinho claimed Champions League Last updated at 13:25pm on 1st April 2008 Porto could be facing relegation to the second division after being formally notified that they and president Pinto da Costa are under investigation of match-fixing in the 2003/04 season. Porto swept all before them that season with Jose Mourinho as coach, including a magnificent European Cup triumph. Scroll down for more Under investigation: Porto president Pinto da Costa and the club are being investigated for allegedly corrupting referees in the 2003-2004 season, and the club could be relegated A Brief statement on the club's website www.fcporto.pt read: "FC Porto and their president have been notified by the Portuguese Professional Football League (LPFP) of the accusations and investigations concerning matches between FC Porto and Estrela da Amadora, and Beira Mar and FC Porto." Porto won the match in question against Estrela da Amadora 2-0, while the match at Beira ended in a goalless draw, with both results are under investigation over allegations of corrupting the referees. The case - referred to in Portugal as "the golden whistle" - has been monitored for nearly four years, with close collaboration between the LPFP and the Portuguese legal system. Porto have sent the accusations to their lawyers and have five days to submit their defence. If found guilty, the club could be docked three points from this campaign - which will hardly hurt them as they are currently 16 points clear of Benfica at the top - or face relegation to the second division. Da Costa could face a ban of between two to 10 years if found guilty of corruption or six months to two years for attempted corruption. The Porto president was charged in 2005 for three offences of active corruption and corrupt practices, but was subsequently released because of a lack of evidence. Daily Mail/various. Its only two League games, but you can guarantee it's the tip of the iceberg. Italy, Germany, Spain have all had there share of corruption scandals over the years. Anyone who doesnt think it goes on in the UK is very naive. I've a feeling this story will run for awhile, well at least until UEFA/FIFA feel that the game is getting too much bad publicity

The positive to come out of this performance is that it gives Boro a lot of hope and confidence going into their next game against ....Man Utd.
