  1. Remember Wise against Millwall ? - had all that shrapnel thrown at him, scooped it all up and gave it to a little kid in the front row
  2. Remenber this after the scouse game -never heard of him to be honest. Matthew Harding was the one that sticks in the memory. Helicopters ? Just say No.
  3. ......good shout about the youngsters. Better than playing one or two, you get around 8 or 9 together couple of weeks before the game, and tell them theyve got the game of their lives coming up, a real chance to prove themselves. Get them bonding and beleiving.
  4. Well he did play for them. Drogba will get a 3 match ban and club fine almost guaranteed
  5. Hello. Have you met our regular SA participant Terry26 (Yougs) yet ?
  6. Good call, theres no reason why in 'safe' circumstances young players should not be brought on. I'd go a step further and put some under pressure now and then, in not so comfortable situations. The reality is that with the pressure on managers to succeed, they want ready made players off the shelf. With instant global communications, and a willing network of parasitical agents only to eager to pimp their players, its easier to buy a completed product.
  7. Complacent multi-millionaires. Burnley deserved to win, and fair play to them. Muppets in the MHL after Drogs scored -''You might as well go home''. Havent won a penalty shoot out for 10 years now......
  8. Something over nothing really. I expect the Burnley boys were asking for their money back.
  9. I' d only seriouly consider it if there were reclining seats, and all that noisy singing was stamped out. There needs to be better wines, and decent canapes, and prices need to be sufficiently increased, to keep out the riff raff.
  10. If Scolaris to be taken at his word then some youngsters will be given run outs. Burnley will put up a fight. club with great tradition, used to be in the top flight for decades.... away fans in the Shed used to only be mentally ill or suicidal.
  11. Portsmouth - same result Wigan - same result Yids - Draw this season, win last season minus two points Man City - same result United - Draw this season, win last season minus two points Stoke/Derby - same result Villa - win this season, draw last season plus two points Boro - same result Scousers - loss this season, draw last season, minus one point Hull/Reading - same result Sunderland - same result Blackburn - same result
  12. Always thought we should have broke the bank and got him when Abramovichs roubles came flooding in, no striker came close at the time. Cant see it happening now ......
  13. The only viable site was contaminated with toxic waste or something, should always remain at the Bridge imo.
  14. Attrocious conditions, and a good result all in all. Note of caution -our results are a couple of points less than acquired last season, but I am still optimistic. Baby Face Ince having a go at our Ray post match was funny. Ince to be the next sacking , methinks.....
  15. Looks like he might benefit from Mikels fuck ups... http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/standard-spo...to=newsnow&
  16. Heard that the club might be sniffing round him on R5 this morning. My first reaction was No! -hes lost it now. Second reaction was - and hes always fucking injured, makes Robben seem invincible.
  17. Nice. http://www.london-books.co.uk/xmascard.htm
  18. I'd negotiate with the club to put it in the museum, and ask for a season ticket for life
  19. I'm still gutted we missed out on him -played an absolute blinder again last night. But we should move on , those arabs would want an absolute fortune, and Sparky will say categorically No.
  20. Unbelievable. ..or as Rafa ''Hunbeleefable''. Seven turned over in two years. The club must bear some responsibilty in not forcefully stressing to the players that even though they might have a posh house, the area is a shithole.
