  1. Yes or keane, Itanje, Dossena, Babel, Riera, Aquilani, He is probably the worst signer of players ever
  2. Looking forward to this, some excellent transfers ahead hopefully like.....Cheyrou, Diao, Pongolle, Smicer, Thompson, Mellor, Voronin.. .. . . . . .second thoughts dont let him near a cheque book
  3. Yes tempted to make a banner -you know, tasteful like the scousers make, on a bedsheet

  6. ''they sliced us open at their whim. we were chasing ghosts all night long. we could not keep the ball for more than 5seconds.even during cech's goalkicks, the strikers pressed luiz n cahill and we could not get even a single head to a long ball. even in the 80th inute with a 2 goal deficit they tiki-takad ther way thru our defense only for the striker to shoot over the bar from 6-7 yards. we did get "owned"'' Disagree. What I have noticed when theres a defeat people on the forum are understandably upset -and grossly exagerrate the situation.
  7. Disagree. Their first two goals had an incredible slice of luck. Any team Barca, Milan, Utd would have struggled against Juve and their incredible 12th man, in that stadium. Chelsea played very well albeit with a lack of striker and any leadership on the pitch-yet still managed 12 shots on target.. Any time a real danger for the home side was materialising a cynical foul ensued -they fouled more than 3 times the rate of Chels. No way Chelsea were 'owned'.
  8. If Mata had scored straight after it was 2-0 it would have been game on and a draw was on the cards. Its all 'ifs' though. If me aunty had bollocks she'd be me uncle.
  9. Didnt deserve to lose 3 -0 and was always going to be hard in that cauldron. Always going to miss Drogba and there is no spine -a fit Essien, Terry, Lampard and there is no one in charge on the pitch. That needs to be sorted, and if we're not going for physical prowess then an assassin to gel with Mata, Hazard, Oscar trio along the lines of Falcao, Berbatov, Chicarito.type player is needed. Kalou would have been good tonight.... oh well the Ropey League final is in ....Amsterdam
  10. Only 3000 tickets http://m.chelseafc.com/default.aspx?s=news-display&aid=2986054
  11. Massive pressure on both teams tonight. If we lose and Donetsk win they will win group tonight leaving door well open for Juve in last game. If Juventus don't win tonight, they are out. Would play Torres for an hour (because hes half expecting to be dropped) reverse psychology -then Sturridge after an hour. Wheres King Kalou when you need him ???
  12. AVB ''we were in control from the first minute, until the last, we are proud of what we have done here, i don't think the sending off changed the game, we looked in control, we were very very good from the first minute until the last, the feeling of the result is indifferent for us when we played so well and took the risk in the second half to be so bold, the feeling we have in the dressing room now is pride for each other.'' Someone tell the they lost 5-2

  15. Cheap travel if anyone else is going - http://www.chelseafc.com/news-article/article/2980625/title/leeds-capital-one-cup-update it will be lively off the pitch
  16. Saw some wanky Telegraph profile of him -apparently hes the next Beckham with the showbiz lifestyle, trophy wife etc and Ferguson accepts this because hes better than Beckham Tbh I have never seen a worse England midfield than Gerrard, Cleverley and Osman
  17. 382 pages, 6800 comments, 203,350 views on one forum. If only he'd show the same devotion and application to scoring....
  18. The attacking options are very weak compared to the squads of Citeh and United. This could change in January -but Torres is obviously not doing what he did at Athletico or at Liverpool. Drogba would have sealed their fate at 1-0. Pretty football today, but didnt finish what was probably the worst Liverpool team in a while. Its reminiscent of the tippy tappy creativity with little end result, of the 97 or 2000 seasons and although Chels were the better team, it could have been like last season had JT not been playing -he is Mr Motivator amongst other things. Splash the cash Roman -Falcao in January please
  19. Sickenining to see those warmongering politicians laying wreaths. Hypocrites to the bone. As was said in the first World War the hero troops were ''Lions led by Donkeys.'' During World War One around Christmas 1914 there were a series of widespread, unofficial ceasefires. About 100,000 British and German troops were involved. Soldiers from both sides – and to a lesser degree, from French units – independently ventured into "no man's land", where they mingled, exchanging food and souvenirs. As well as joint burial ceremonies, several meetings ended in carol-singing. Troops from both sides were also friendly enough to play games of football with one another. The truce is seen as a symbolic moment of peace and humanity amidst one of the most violent events of modern history. In some sectors, the truce continued until New Year's Day. In the following years of the war, artillery bombardments were ordered on Christmas Eve to try to ensure that there were no further lulls in the combat. Troops were also rotated through various sectors of the front to prevent them from becoming overly familiar with the enemy
  20. Finally! We can report the inappropriate language referee Mark Clattenburg used to a Chelsea player... . . . . He called Fernando Torres a "striker".
  21. Good post and I think David James summed all this recent controversy up when he said along the lines of theres a lot of peoples jobs and salaries invested in creating these non-events
  22. Last night was the first time we won 5-4 since......
