  1. And even ones in the late 70s early 80s
  2. Still, cheer up, Tiger Woods just put in a fantastic performance
  3. I do think long term though, if we keep Sarri we keep higuain and kovacic witch is madness to me as neither will improve the team.
  4. Playing a false 9 is bollox, Spain have done it and Chelsea have done it and it´s nonsense, and not helping is the coming out asleep in second halves, neither Conte or Sarri have seemed to manage to do anything about that -think it's been that way since JT has gone.
  5. It was an away game at Anfield. Losing at Anfield right now is not a terrible result, but if we’re honest most of us expected it. As percentage chance go there, they should have been taken. All we need now is Henrique, like others suddenly appearing when we lose.
  6. It's all about opinions, but to me RLC and CHO were probably our poorest players today. I’m not going to hammer them for that, I’m not expecting them to be brilliant every game, but we know if other players put in the performances they did, then they’d be hammered. Higuain contributed more in 5 minutes than either of them did all game.
  7. That Salah goal was a kick in the bollocks and could have happened to anyone. The killer was Hazard missing those 2 chances when he did. They were akin to a defensive mistake.
  8. We were just beaten by a better team - this is where are and where we've been since pre-Sarri.
  9. Bottom line, and there's no getting away from it we're lacking a decent striker and have for quite a while now.
  10. Citeh seem to have done their bit 0-2 up Now lets do our bit and beat the Murderers
  11. Hilarious to read the indignation on the Liverpool boards. The Murderers taking the moral high ground. #pray for Mo
  12. All a bit lacklustre when compared to 20 goal a season Frank. RLC probably the best option.
  13. Five years since Slippy G threw it away Van Dick to score our winner 92nd minute please
  14. They paid £85m for him, and, like you say lay him up for months then want £113m for him. Reminds me when I had to tell my daughter off, She bought some sweets for 40p ate a few, left them in her bedroom for a few weeks. Then I caught her trying to sell what was left for 50p to a schoolfriend a few weeks later. She was five years old.
  15. @VesperNothing wrong with the post, good documentary -except it's getting a bit off topic from the diminutive scruffy Egyptian- can you post it in the Politics thread -cheers
  16. Obviously a technically talented player who doesn’t really do much wrong but he also doesn’t really seem to add anything. He doesn’t score, he doesn’t defend, he doesn’t assist. Just feels like a wasted space in the team for someone who might not be as good a footballer/team player, but can actually add more overall as an individual.
  17. Did I say it was OK ? So you're in the US, embarrassed for me, about three drunk fans in the Cech Republic singing a song about a multi millionaire, who more than likely will never be aware of it. Think I can live with that, thanks.
  18. People can make a big deal of it if they want to, seems fashionable to take offence on behalf of someone else nowadays. Worse things happening than pissed up lads singing a naughty song. That chant has probably been sung in 50 pubs with Manc fans before their games after the Manchester Arena bombing killed 19 kids.
  19. Drunken away fans sing un PC song in pub before match. Shock, horror. This happens every week in a pub near every ground. Think it says more about how social media and journalists are filming everything and making money out of it.
  20. So the Spanish Government Subsidised club are offering Bale for £113m. Blimey I never thought they viewed him 25% better than Hazard. Fuck Off Madrid.
  21. Lol just about here our fans over there ; ''You're only here for the Chels, here for the Chelsea, You're only here for the Chelsea''
  22. Like to think we'll batter them at the Bridge, but even that isn't a certainty nowadays
  23. So true -intelligent footballers are a rarity. Hazard is definitely one.
