We've only won 2 games (one of them on extra time) in our last 5 games, so we aint really winning, in terms of winning everything. What im saying is that we are far away from a perfect team and thats also what we have to have as a target, to become the most perfect and best team in the world, so you cant just sit back and say "ohh, we are "winning", lets not do anything".You could clearly see today that we have some "problems" in our team and thats problems which we have to fix. Torres is in my, and many others opinion a big problem in our team and something that has to be fixed as the main striker is a very vital part of the team. Im not trying to be negative after having a win like this against Shaktar but football is always about looking forward. If we just sit back now we wont be winning for very long.

I watched about 10 minutes of the game and the first impression i got from him was that he completly run their game. Almost everything went through him and he made their game very fluid. He looks really good

The Sturridge-never-passes-and-only-shoots talk has gone to far. Yes, he is a bit ego sometimes but nothing out of the world as a striker. He do tend to make some really nice passes at time, like the pass to Moses against United, which Torres is no way near being able to do.

You might be right but I dont think we can judge sturridge by just the few chances he has gotten. He deserves a fair chance exactly like Torres, which imo has gotten to many chances and has to step away and give some chances for some1 like sturridge.EDIT: About Moses, ive heard that he played quiet a few games as a CF in Wigan. Does any1 know how he did?

Sturridge handles the ball much better than Torres and he has a much better view of the game. I mean why do you think Sturridge work as a right winger while Torres barely work as a striker and to work he needs the whole f*cking team to be built around him and everyone have to provide him with good balls.

Yeah, he did nothing wrong but he did nothing right either. Dont you understand that the fans get frustrated when we play 11 vs 10 game after game after game. The lad simply dont contribute anything. Its in close games like todays game which a good striker can be the difference betwen a win and a draw.

I think that by letting him start every single game, Robbie is just making the situation worse for Torres. Torres can basiclly go in to a game with the mentality that no mather how shit he plays he will still play the game after. You cant build a team with that kind of mentality. And im still embaressed that some ppl said that Torres would come good this season because he now didnt have too compete for the spot with Drogba. Competition is part of the game!!! You should use it as a motivation to do better! If Torres plays worse if he has competition then fuck off!!!

I dont care if Sturridge was shit against United. Atleast he made a name for himself and was a part of the team. When Torres plays he just isnt there. Its like we are playing with 10 men.

Torres got a 1 match ban, and that match was today. He will be available for the Swansea game. I still hope that Sturridge starts

Did you guys hear that?? The sound of Torres getting his ass benched. Sturridge did enough today to show that he deserved a starting spot up top AND his overall performance wasnt even that good imo. He could have done much better in some moments but he still showed that he's our man for now... that just sums it all up for how bad Torres really is

Wow! Thats exactly the kind of player I want on the pivot. Completly dominated the game. I was amazed on how Rambo and Oscar looked more solid than Romeu and Mikel, even though none of them are defensive midfielders. Would love to see that pairing again

Ive said this before and i will say it again. Even though Rambo has been good as a midfielder recently i still aint so sure about Mikel and Rambo. Mikel does a good defensive job and Rambo is a fantastic engine, but i want us to have a midfield which can take controll over the game. Rambo and Mikel just aint those types of players. We've already got Oscar, Mata and Hazard that bosses but I still think somethings missing in the pivot.If we take controll in the pivot we will be one step close to a perfect team.

Everytime RVP got the ball around our goal i started to sweat. How do you guys think our opposing team and their fans think when Torres gets the ball around our goal??? The guy just cant lead our attack, he just cant.

Its really no idea to ask that question anymore. He's basically a starter now and one of their more important players. He played full 90 minutes today.

The amount of time he has gotten on the pitch is a disgrace! Say whatever you want about Torres but even if Torres would be banging in 3 goals everyday he still deserves to get some game time. Hell, even Danny Welbeck get more chances at Man U and imo Sturridge is way better than him AND he got Rooney, RVP and Chicharito competing for his number 9 spot.... disgrace, f*ckin disgrace
