I think that role (not the poition - it is useless to just talk about positions without roles in footbal - it is not fm2013l) is called meia-armador. He is cut out for that!!

True !! Id love him there. Just think of him in the pivot in an 8 role coupled by a real 6 ( i always dream of Witsel). Those two would give us a high tech modern, mobile pivot. That is not true, Strike! His first games for us where in that role alternating with Mata. He played deep and central ! I think Wigan and Reading for sure.

Ok Striker: well a striker. 10: a playmaker that controls the flow of offensive play. Drifts between midfield and striker. Also called the trequartista. 8: i think more Oscars role. Deeper than Hazard or Mata. More a dee lying playmaker or a regista. 9: deep lying forward that drops down pulling defenders with him. It s very similar to a 10 but he pushes up primarily. So the movement is different. Central forward as a denominator says nothing tactically like the former roles do, it reveals the place on the pitch.

Well, he is a winger but he is simply better at 10! He knows it, we know it, the belgian NT coach knows it .... I think Oscar will have to drop in a deeper role if he wants to be in the central axis ...
