Reading of Mukiele or Dumfries as Kounde alternative makes me wonder what we’re we thinking. Kounde is an rcb with occasional utility at RB. Dumfries now is an out and out RWB. He is basically the Dutch victor Moses . Maybe it is just lazy journalism. But we need wb backup AND a starting quality CB

Also Skriniar does not have a lot of mileage in his legs, considering he spent a large chunk of his career in the slow Slovakian league. His injury reckord is immaculate btw. He has scored the goals to win uns Champions League and World Cup. That is 80m well spent. If we want to criticize him we can but we should start with the other muppets. All our attackers look terrible. But that is only partly their fault. We just don't have an attacking system in place that makes them look good with quick releases, direct vertical balls etc. In our slow, posession-based 3-4-3 the attackers mainly do the donkey work for the wingbacks to exploit the space in the channels. Can easily see Chilly/RJ get into double figures in either goals or assists if they manage to play another season together without injuries. If we were to play more counter-attacking football and actually train early balls and releases we would see our pacey attacker shine a lot more. Also our attackers' chemistry is just bad, probably because they are rotated all the time. Of all our attacing combinations only Mount and Havertz have somewhat decent understanding.

Of course fifpro, la liga, CAS etc will do fuck all about it But Barcelona have sold a portion of their TV rights, so their cashflow will be significantly reduced in the future. Yes. He has played ccb (once) and rcb at decent level but only a handful of games he can also play DM. Overall similar to Reece James (not quite as good obviously). The two could basically play rcb and rwb interchangeably or simultaneously

He is better than Kounde and more versatile. His primary position is rwb tho it does not really matter what they will pay. He is French, psg is his dream club and they are offering crazy wages. We are offering Werner. Tough decision

In yesterdays public Training when players were asked to dribble around two cones, Sarr was the only one to straight run into one of them and lose the ball. everybody else even other technical low lives like Michy or Timo did it with ease. I know it’s selective af but sarr might very well be our poorest technician since the two donkeys. But other than those duds, he cost peanuts. Should have sold him last summer tho

He is lightning quick but really small and goes to ground easily or gets bullied off the ball. He looks spectacular when he has space but can be frustrating as well esp vs low blocks. Don’t see him making it PL just yet but at 23 still has time to learn how to use his body better. He won’t move this summer tho. Really likes it at Bayer and just yesterday announced he is staying amid interest from Newcastle

Theo is a world class LB. Don’t see how chilly would be any better now he has lost his pace tomori has matured into one of the best Serie a defenders. You can compare him and KK quite well over the last year and there is not much between them Kounde for me is not a real CB. Spectacular but too rash. A mini David luiz with plenty ADD blackout moments. Would take Tomori and Ndicka over him any day
