  1. really cant blame a striker as long as he scores goals.
  2. little Marko embracing the about 5 times as big Lukaku one of my fav pics as of here. As for me, de Bruyne is a number 10. had the opportunity to talk to some belgians last week, they said, de bruynes pace might be enough in belgium but in the epl he is not much faster as a good defender. On the other hand his passing and shootinga bility allows him to shape a game from cm or cam. just wonder that would make hazard, mata, oscar, de bruyne one or two number 10s to many. Dont expect josh, kakuta AND de Bruyne being loaned out. Even taht would only delay the overkill. Did not remember Hutchinson that explosive in his acceleration
  3. Marin gets his goal, even though he always does the same, atleast our new boys know how to use deflections. Little undeserved lead. Hope we can keep it until we are redeemed of benayoun adn hilario
  4. McEachran and Mikel are below par atm. That's why our ball retention is so crap. Also Ferreira has not really kept his side tidy. All this side offers is the pace of the offense line bar benayoun who has been crap, too.
  5. hilarios positioning is about as poor as Scotland before civilization was brought there.
  6. nah. Can Understand him. Benayoun returned and had nothing better to do than wanking about with his Arsenal experience. No Chelsea fan gives a shit about how he enjoyed his time in the barbarian north with Arses bunch of kids.
  7. our build up play misses Lamps badly. Marin really wants the goal. We are actually quite good at accelerating attack now, unfortunately why seldom get teh chance
  8. mceachran with rather costly error. A better keeper than hilario would probably kept it out
  9. don't know, who has told Hazard to think of himself being a number 10. Rather play a winger as seen with this goal
  10. very much a B-side Kit looks great lukaku demonstrates what an extraordinary physical specimen he is and opens the scoring, brilliant assist and finish
  11. Those punters are usually as clueless as we are. The deal seems dead, but no one is certain about that. Since there are only a few clubs n for hulk with us being the only probable destination, its a matter of evaluation of wether he leaves or not. Offering attractive odds in such a scenario is always very risky for the bookie.
  12. Don't fit his style, not experienced enough....I don't care for the excuses. the mere fact that you have to defend him with excuses is because he is simply not as good (yet) as he is hyped to be in this forum, that was the only thing i wannted to point out, thank you for substantiating it.
  13. I know Schürrle very well, as about the nearest Bundesliga club always has been Mainz and so i'm friends with many mainz supporters. Schürrle is quality undoubtley, but he would not fit in here. He is technical all roudn display is well shaped, his major strength is his shooting, either hits them hard and true with the dorsum of the foot (or how Vollspann is called in English)or his inside, with which he can curl as well as shoot hard. Also he is a good finisher, as his reaction s are quick and he can be really aggressive towards lose balls. his weaknesses are his passing, crosses and movement within the team. He is a natural sprinter but on the other hadn waits for the ball instead of moving in space. A bit indisciplined in his movement, needs much freedom to be prolific, but u cannot grant a player like him a special role at Chelsea. Would say his first position would be left-sided striker in a old-fashioned 4-4-2, 2nd left attacking midfielder, 3rd lone striker. ineffective in any other position and not really fitted for a fluent 4-2-3-1 as he does not really like to interchange position so much. Hence i would strongly advice against purchasing him
  14. Nah, Thorgan Hazard does not sound exactly as much as a the name of a gothic metal band than Eden Hazard, so its a clear no from me
  15. Marko Marin has been a very smart signing at the time we made it, as no CL football was guaranteed and there was great great demand for action on the wings. By now we're CL winners (the though still gives me a little bit of goosebumps) and can attract every class player on the market, we probably would not repeat it, though it still is a smart one. Marin might not be as effective and skilfull as Hazard, but his top professionalism and raring-to-go-attitude make him mentally more prepared for the challenge. His two years of frustration at Bremen also made him a player who can handle sportive disappointments. In Germany every footballing kid possesses his good share of skills and is technically well educated. Only the physically aptest ones are given the chance to be professionals, so I would not worry about his skills or his physique. He has played on international level often enough so I also would not worry about him being able to fit in, atleast I can see Oscar; De bruyne or kakuta (if kept); and maybe even Hazard rather struggling than him. Mata is at the Olympics and we'll have about 60 games or more this season (hopefully) so he will get his time regardless if we sign any of Moses, Hulk and Oscar. would love to see him flourishing at CFC, would also enhance the club's repu in Germany. As for marko himself i wonder if it is the most pleasant situation being in a pool of such great wingers with regard to his career in international football but if chelsea would have come up for me during the season and wanted me to join i would not have hesitated a sec
  16. Yeah, the Syxxer finally has joined up, welcome gee.
  17. like how shy he is in front of the camera. Has a lovely sister too. Gigi is about 4 times as big as him Im afraid your gettin me wrong. I never bemoaned Mata's creativity, class or genereal contribution (such as stats), only stated that in terms of playin style he is not exactly like Silva or Iniesta because he lacks their pace, esp their acceleration. usually I have to ask non-Chelsea-fans why they call us "defensive-minded",. have u ever seen us go out as parking a jumbo jet in front of goal against teams as wigan, swansea, aston villa etc. no. Unfortunately 75% of our opponents are teams like those. Calling us defensive minded because of 3 games defies any logic. Also I dont get why being not good in defense is an excuse at all. performances in big games are a major part of player ratings (for me at least). But i dont really care which way you turn up to help your eam. Drogba played leftback most of his tim vs barca and even though he did not produce anything countable in the away game he put in a great shift. Mata might have worked hard but his contribution was nowhere that. even Bosingwa, who is in fact not the best defender did superb vs barca. Anyone who wants to be a world class player has to turn up in those kind of games, no matter if your "no defensive player". What do you expect from a big game, that is made to suit u? Because your "no defensive player" u have an excuse to not contribute? Because your "no defensive player" u are entiteld to squander the few chances u get and be bullied of the ball in any occasio? No doubt, Mata has been great throughout the season, But against Barca and Bayern Mata may have worked hard but Cech, Cole, Lamps, Drogs were simply different class. thats what world class players do, they turn up in the big games, when it matters the most, no matter whether the odds are against u and the game does not suit u. Thats why Mata might be a great footballer but he is no lamps or drogs. Without Mata we would not have been even 6th in the league maybe or would not have won the FA cup, but the old guard were the only ones to win us the CL.
  18. Bis hier hin ganz okay . But ist has to be :"Anderer Deutscher". Adjectives are inflected with regard to number and sex of the noun they describe. In this case its male and singular of the adjective "anders" German is probably not easy to learn as a foreign speaker. Our flexion is rather illogical in some cases, even some native speakers struggle, but have fun keeping it up
  19. In Germany we're probably the worst off (does this expression actually exist ?). It's at 3:30. It's too early to sleep before but when you stay awake it'll be late... gonna try the latter, in holdiay my sleeping rhythm sucks anyway
  20. Nah. Not sure about that. Mata did great for a first season in English football. However, the latter stages of the season showed, he is by far no lamps, as he got missing in the big games. that was due to our defensive style but also because he is not the athlete he should be as an EPL-player. I was standing KO as he fucked up another penalty in the shoot-out in Munich and delivered nothing against Barcelona. Dont get me wrong he is a great player and will improve to become one of the best in the world but he is just no yet what he is hyped to be. His right foot is a joke and he is slow as a tractor, i swear I would beat him over any of 35, 50, 75, 100 or 200m distances. He aint got the acceleration of a real athlete and any defender he has outplayed with his sublime skills will catch up with him a sec later. For those reasons, there's no way he'll become a Silva or an Iniesta, he'll probably never score a slalom-dribbling solo golazo. On the other hand he is a better crosser and long range shooter than both, so he should rely on those to impose himself on a game. Yeah, and maybe spent some hours in the gym and have a decent meal or two...
  21. Guten Morgen, Finally, one of my e-mail-addresses got accepted :-) . I felt this really enjoyable forum was greatly understaffed with regard to German members (apart from Cleve, a friend of mine and co-admin of our German forum chelsea-football). Additionally I cant wait for the new season to commence, so Im grateful for the opportunity to exchange some thouhgts about the club we all love. Having spotted the famous CFC when friends took me to White hart Lane in spring 2004 the first time (we abducted 3 points with a not really convincing victory; hasselbaink goal). When I watched Lampard destroy Bayern (probably the club i hate most) in 2005, I eventually fall for the club and SFL as a player. As a Chelsea Fan in Germany you tend to get some stick from the people who are vastly biased against privately-owned, English clubs thanks to a hypocritical press, accordingly it was the greatest of pleasures to strolling through the city at May 19, singing our songs all night long. Lookin forward to an interesting and pleasant time at CT. Cheers guys!
