  1. He's more of a striker. What's wrong with HSV btw. because it is so close to HIV or what?
  2. Likely things to happen in and after this game I'd be happy about. -Lamps gettin his 200th goals -Rafa gets the sack -we win (not that likely bu one can hope)
  3. http://www.101greatgoals.com/gvideos/ramires-chelsea-v-middlesborough/ obviously, it was.
  4. So Droba's goal in the CL final was an own goal by Manuel Neuer, Lamps freekcik vs Tottenham last season was an own goal by scott parker, Oscars little flick in the FA cup vs brentford was an own goal by the keeper, Lamps last minute winner vs stoke in 2009 was a goal by Ballack? Utter BS. The rule says if a player shoots onto goal and the ball is deflected on its way in it is his goal. If a player A shoots but the shot is going wide but is deflected by a player B and as a consequence of that goes into goal instead it is player B's goal.
  5. this. Only OUR Website has him as the scorer. The official matchreport by the FA has Ramires as scorer, rightly so. http://www.thefa.com/TheFACup/News/2013/Feb/fifth-round-middlesbrough-chelsea-report.aspx
  6. No he was not. It is Ramires goal. the rule says when a shot that is going onto goal is deflected and goes in it is awarded to the player with the initial effort. This rule was correctly applied by the F.A.. Hence the official match report also says it is Ramires goal.
  7. It is time for dives to be punished as hard as fouls. From the sporting aspect dives are in general more disgusting and unsporting behaviour. In most cases a foul is not intentional, a player aims for the ball, might not quite get it and accepts the consequences. Both players and the ref are cool with that. A dive is a cheat to a)get a freekick or penalty b)get the other player booked c)camouflage the own failure. Obnoxious in multiple ways. In normal life, it is a crime to try to deceive the judge, the problem is it is not always easy to prove. In this case, it could not be more blatant. Players get booked for fouls, rightly so or not but why do i never see a Barca player get booked for a dvie? It is a joke, Barca is called one of the great sports teams of our generation, when their success is majorly built on all kinds of unsporting behaviour. If players had got booked for dives retrospectively in the first place, I am quite sure BArcas achievements would not have been possible.
  8. Provided that he actually makes a run into the box and gets shot in the right angle that the ball rebounds off him into the net that might happen. Given endless time, a monkey playing with a typewriter will eventually rewrite a book by doing so. It's the same with Torres. When he continues to play for us, it is inevitable that he will score eventually. but if i had to bet on who will accomplish his task first, i would go for the monkey.
  9. Loved how exuberantly Pique protested the penalty, so great was his misbelief a referee indeed had made a major decision AGAINST Barcelona. I can't blame him i was equally astonished^^ Maybe it was just too clear. Even though Ronaldo is one of the worst divers the game has ever seen, even he had no chance to dive there as his leg was heckled there. Nonetheless he was lucky with his penalty. It was not even half as well struck as Lamps, but Pinto made a mess of it.
  10. so the fall of Barcelona has begun...
  11. Check this one http://www.transfermarkt.de/de/gareth-bale/profil/spieler_39381.html And I consider Bale more useful than Mata, cos with his pace and shots he can hurt anyone. Mata is almost useless as soon as his opponent his faster and stronger than him, which is the case as soon as we play City, Bayern, Real, Milan and probably most European top teams.
  12. Ribery - clearly not. Keep in mind, he plays bundesliga Zlatan - not, ligue 1 RVP - not been in that great form lately Cavani -not...I'm not sure Falcao -not that in form lately Mata - no way. I would switch Bale and Mata any time Bale has 15 goals, 4 assists, aslo i said "right now" not "this season". the number and quality of goals in bale's last games are not matched.
  13. Can u think of one player besides Messi and Ronaldo who is better than Bale right now? Not quite the same dribbling ability but more pace than both. Whoever is to sign him in summer probably obtains a guarantee of winning the league. we have to go for him.
  14. Calm down guys, it's only one game and also Hazard, Mikel, Ramires and Mata esp were shit. Lamps himself will address that and next time he will show up in a big game and score the penalty when given the chance. In the big games this season the team including Lamps has often been shit and its ok to demand him being better than the rest of the team in these games due to his experience. Nonetheless it is unfair to say he is not good enough, when the rest of the team isn't better. City are better than us and showed us our limits once again as did Atletico and Juve. We are simply not that good. Bashimg Lmaps for that is simply a knee-jerk reaction
  15. But one has to say he plays with a strike partner and traditional wingers, so maybe he'll have to adapt a bit here before making immediate impact. Nonetheless we could try out a 4-1-3-2 or stuff like this. We should bring him back anyway, there will be enough games for him also when we get another striker. He starts on the bench most games at WBA and he surely should get as much time here provided our new manager actually makes subs unlike Rafa. People always say young player must get as many games as possible, but IMO that is not true. Their bodies and minds are still young and growing and have to get used to the continuous stress of top-league football. So many strikers could never realize their full potentail on a consistent level as a consequence overdoing themselves in their late teens and early twens as Michael Owen, Lukas Podolski, Sebastian Deisler, Patrick Kluivert and our very own Fernando Torres, two amazing seasons and then the injuries adn all the physical and mental pressure took their toll and their careers faded away before they were even 25.
  16. yeah, he is already one of the best strikers in the league and surely should have his place as at least 2nd choice striker here. Would be even better if we do not fuck up as we did with Sturrdige, Situation is pretty similar. But what a deal the lukaku loan has been As for Bony, what a hit his first goal was but it is rather improbable that we will buy him.
  17. @Cahill debate: IMO Cahill is fine, surely no worldclass but experienced solid, without him we probably would not have won the CL last season. Even though he is fast, technically sound and drifts forward a lot, he is not really a modern defender in terms of game intelligence. He needs a leader besides him hence i think he and Terry work fine and complement each other well. Maybe Luiz+Terry are the better partnership, cos they complement each other even better but IMO, we can not afford to play Mikel+Lamps who are both rather leisure players and not aggressive neough to win the crucial midfield battle. also Mikel does not look entirely back from aFrica mentally. @City vs us: Yeah, on first sight the underdog always wins since 2009 but when u look at the fixtures in detail it is usually down to some little but crucial details. In 2009/10 the first game at the Emirates we lost 2-1 due to a mistake by Cech and us being bullied in the middle, cos we were physically inferior with Deco and Belletti, Drogba, Anelka and Lampard were not really at their best, whilst City just had picked up form. The second game we lost 4-2 due to a stupid red card + the bridge+terry debate. in 2011 we lost again at their ground 1-0 due to a superb tevez solo. once again got bullied in the middle with zhirkov and ramires as improvised midfield. The next game we won 2-0 with david luiz owning dzeko balotelli and agüero every possible way with him adn ramires scoring. Lamps&Ess dominated Barry and yaya so much, it did not even have any effect that we started with our worst possible striking lineup kalou&torres, even though both were unlucky not to score. Then again we won 2-1 under AVB in a pretty strange game, sturridge's pace probably was the difference, he provided the two assists for Meireles & Lamps. The return game was our loss away in a poor performance which somehow was motivated by our hope of City catching Utd. In the last game we pretty much neutralized each other. We defended well but City were too big&strong for us to make it on the other end @Arsenal vs Spurs They won't draw it will be a chaos encounter just as their last two games, which ended 5-2 for arsenal. We have to and will beat Tottenham.even though it won't be such a classic as last years wembley semifinal. Either side has lost one of their most crucial men since then.
  18. Last season we gifted City the win for them to catch Utd. This time it is a different situation with Utd practically being all but Champions already and deservedly so even though it pains me to admit that. It is now a battle between us and City for 2nd hence we can not afford to lose and i am sure the players wil approach it this way, too. I'd very much take a draw as City are always extremely awkward to play against. I hate their style of play and the bunch of ugly cunts they call their team but their physical power in the middle often has proven impossible for us to break down. If Mata, Hazard, Oscar are not completely fresh and up to it they will get bullied to uselessness by Toure&Co. I am sensing Rafa will feel indulged to play Bertrand on the wing or shit like that but I pray he will get a decent team together one fuckin time. I'd play -------Cech------ Iva-Cahill-Terry-Cole -----Luiz-Lamps------ Moses-Mata---Hazard ---------Ba-------------- about our strongest lineup. Mikel-Ramires pivot was less than decent last game against Sparta and Ramires is a weapon given space but this game will be tight battle fought out in the middle and that does not fit him. Luiz and Lamps can physically compete with Yaya and Javi Garcia which hopefully prevents us losing the midfield battle. Silva always plays shit against us so we sould rather watch out for Agüero, Dzeko I do not fear. The teams are pretty even with us having a tad more creativity which will hopefully give us the edge. Kompany will probably not be completely fit and Nastasic is a clown anyway, so Ba could have a bit of joy upfront. Their fullbacks are solid and dangerous as are ours that is why i think this game will be won "between the lines" with the prospect of their little weakness in central defense where we could set the sting. My head says 1-1 but my heart says 2-1.
  19. Hannover have been THE surprise team in the past two seasons with notable achievements in Bundesliga and Euro league despite their small budget. Their best defender without a doubt is Konstantin Rausch. 22 y o , 6'/183cm He is very much like a left sided Azpilicueta, just a bit faster and stronger. He is a German of Russian decent and as robust as a Russian while tactically as educated as a German. He can dribble, cross and shoot like a winger which is why he can play any position down the left side and on the other hand is a no-nonsense defender. He surely does not have the elegance of Ashley Cole or the incredible precision of Leighton Baines but is a tireless worker and brutally efficient. His pace and his crosses can be devastating on the counter as Bayern and Dortmund already had to experience more than once in the past 2 or 3 seasons. No idea why he has not yet been called up for the National Team as he is at least as good as current first choice left back Marcel Schmelzer while being 3 years younger. Ashley cole will probably only stay with us next season and we will be in need of a replacement that is not too much a downgrade. Ryan Bertrand has been decent in games against weaker opponents but has failed to impress against Juve, Shakthar mainly due to his deficiencies in positioning, tackling and dribbling technique all those are strengths of Konstantin Rausch. Here comes the best: His contract runs out in summer. He will not enter negotations with Hannover cos he wants a new challenge. No idea whether he is ready for Chelsea but he has all the tools already. Due to his versaitlity he would get his games here and could leapfrog Bertrand as Cole's successor. It's a gamble but one that will cost us nothing whilst his chances to succeed here are not much worse than Fabio Coentrao's or whoever we want to sign as Cole's replacement, who of course would cost 20m more. There are not too many decent leftbacks out there and this guy is definitely made for the EPL
  20. This. The sort of buys we always wanted, teh sort of buys that were logical in the evolution of the club. Still under Mou we signed either players as Ben Haim, Ben sahar, Steve Sidwell, Pizarro, that were simply not only not good enough but were the wrong players at the wrong time or we signed made names for big money. Esp Azpi, Moses and Ba were signings for the future that also could make an immediate impact without costing too much. Amongst all the board bashing which is also deserved to an extent, we have differentiate and I'd like to know who sorted these signing out cos he deserves praise, hsi choices were odds-on.
  21. I've just read the Winner of the Europa league is automatically qualified for UEFA CL. is this true? Cos in this case one could ensure qualification to CL with much less games than going the league way.
  22. All Koreans I know are rather small. However eating healthy and exercising is not related to height. I'd rather ascribe that to Korea being so international and Europeans and Americans have assimilated into their population so that they have a higher genetic growth potential. For instance, North Korea which i probably do not have to tell u is isolated has 6cm lower average height even though they were the exact same ethnic group. Footballers are extremely small recently, cos all want to emulate the Spanish generation of midgets and their success, which is IMO only a temporary fashion. In the Mourinho Era we had one of the best teams ever and had big+strong players like Terry, Lamps, Ess, Drogba, Gallas in the centre. Also city have prevalently big players, that is why our midgets are so uneffective against them. IMO people playing in the centre of the pitch as CB, CMs and CFs, in order to win the tackling sin the middle u have to be at least one, better two of fast strong and technically precise.
  23. No I meant Corea. As in Chick Corea. Just kidding, I am always a bit confused, cos u spell Korea also this way in German but many German words can be translated into English by simply replacing the K with a C I know some stunning Asian beauties but Asian men are rather ungainly IMO. Anyway I think he is ugly even for a Korean, due to his babyface, flat nose, jug ears and stupid haircut. http://www.spox.com/de/sport/fussball/bundesliga/1008/Bilder/heung-min-son-hsv-514.jpg http://www.spox.com/de/daten/pics/fussball/bilder/spieler/gross/163347.jpg Usually you say tall when people are more than 6ft (183cm) and big when they are actually tall and got appropriate weight so 80kg+ But in England people tend to use the word big rather inflationary, people from South Korea obviously do so even more. He might be tall for an Korean okay but surely he is not big he is thin as a twig man.
