That case is still open and it may still wreck them as a club completely (albeit unlikely) as the charges are severe and there is no CAS route or time barring back door. But due to the complexity this will drag on for years until a verdict is reached, so they will be a huge nuisance for years to come.

And don’t even think of hanging on to the faintest of hopes regarding inter. This is the largest gulf in class in a CL final ever. Pep may or may not overthink and make a stupid selection. But even with the wildest tinkering ever he will still end up with a way superior team than whatever Inter has to offer. I am not even gonna go into how shit inter are. But Pep could play Bernardo in goal and stones (not even the player , just actual rocks) on the wing and still see them off. Either Pep gets it right and they will just annihilate them or he gets it completely wrong and they will still edge it in some tense, awkward manner .

Weird comparison. That Bayern side was not even that good. They just had a huge fitness edge over the rest bc Bundesliga started earlier after the lockdown. this city team is the best club team in world football since Barca We have to face it. City are a way better run club. As good a roman was the sheiks have achieved more in terms of building a club structure and long term vision. They hired the right ppl to run the club for them from the beginning instead of chopping and changing executives while rolling with talented impro amateurs like Marina.

Honestly did not expect us to give a damn anymore after we clinched survival
-
I didn’t not even notice but him being out is a good thing. I would expect we have him ensured vs injury and very week he missed through injury we will get some part of his wages back. So the longer he is out the better for us on and off the pitch.

Now that was a cannon shot
-
Reviewing the goal that was a clear positional error by ederson. Obv Kepa would not have moved but snake probably keeps that one out
-
I'd rather sell them those two useless parasites straight away but I would even pay an outrageous amount for the almost just as useless Felix just just to be rid of cucu and auba if that is what it takes.

Tall yes the super tall ones Courtois, van der Sar, Cech are the outliers rather than the norm. Most of the great goalkeepers in history were around the 1,90 mark either a little bit shorter (Kahn, Yashin, banks, schumacher, lehmann, zenga, chilavert, carrizo, casillas) or slightly taller (Neuer, Buffon, alisson, schmeichel). I agree on the second point. All had relatively long, strong arms and a stable upper body to keep them afloat amidst the scrum in their box. This is what Kepa lacks but there is obviously also a mental component to it. Some of the examples listed also only had average size arms and were not particularly bulky but still controled the area due to skill and determination.

Yeah but just as we should not expect ourselves to become clinical over night you should not count in the poor teams around us to be world beaters either. We actually have an ok-ish record vs the teams below us this season. They are either leaky or chokers in front of goal just as we are.
-
As we have nothing to play for this season anymore we can as well celebrate the wins we do get even if they are lucky and against shitty opposition actually enjoyed our goals very much. Beautiful cross and header, nice whipped free kick for Badia (who I have been a don of since day 1) and the Sterling move for Felix was just slick. Defence is still shambles tho. We will probably not keep one clean sheet here for the rest of the season. offense looked good tho. Nice football, even the tactics were spot on. Kante to attack the wings, Gallagher to make late runs. Subs all worked out fine as well. We were bound to break that run of defeats at some point so feels good to have that chip off the shoulder.
-
Really like the lineup young pacey front 3 Badia is back and Trev at RB is probably still better than Azpi atm midfield is a bit uninspiring but at least all three will run their lungs out
-
Was thinking the same i was hoping for some serious insight but these quotes by this player i have never heard of are just hot air.

Gallagher is not even the problem. This huge dysfunctional toxic group dynamic is. Most of the players are probably decent lads but also passengers like most team athletes. Take away leadership on board, manager and squad level and we are left with a bunch of spoiled brats. The imbalanced salary structure amps this up even more. what we are looking for in a manager now is someone who gets along with the owners, their management team, the staff, gets leaders into the club and still manages to light a fire under the players, weeds out the shit ones without pissing off too many of the rest. I think it’s almost impossible to do. Not only did potter and Lamps fall tragically short. I think so would Pep, Conte or Mourinho. The only guys I can think of who have managed something like this ever but under less pressure are Carlo and Klopp. but even they would need to stretch. Not only are we in a shit situation but in a predicament so complex we might not see the end of it under this ownership. in those pre season promo videos where we saw Sterling strutting around talking BS while weirdly being shadowed by fkin Malang Sarr and proceeding to have the most awkward smalltalk ever with Boehly - my gut reaction was just - oh shit if this is the new Chelsea it’s gonna be bad. But I did not expect it to go downhill this quickly this far. For those fans who at Jesus hear for the glory, this is the time to move on. It will be years, maybe decades until we will compete on all front again. The chaos we are in will deter investors, sponsors and players for ages and significantly impede the development of this club at a time we’re world football is at the crossroads .

I like how they randomly dropped maatsen in there as if he would ever play for us still we have crazy talent for years but that is not the issue. There is no cohesion in our squad because it is bloated and lacks leaders .
-
He is right tho. I think Mourinho mk I had one more good season in him. We finished just 2 points short of ManUre s best ever season with fkin Grant as manager and showed in Moscow we could dominate Utd. And who knows what Carlo could have done with a bit more time. His sack was unfair given the amount of injuries we had plus we severely underinvested in summer 2010 after deco and Ballack left. Still I think with that amazing team we had 2005 to 2010 we could have easily won 5/6 titles if we had not had the most formidable rival in SAF and the best ManUre side ever. Plus we should have won it in 2014 Believe me, I am just as pissed as the next guy at how a disappointment Frank is as our manager but let’s never forget his greatness as a player. Still for me our most important player ever and greatest midfielder in PL history.

Some members' behaviour on here is just shambolic. First, we are not in a relegation fight and will not even be close to going down even if we lose all remaining matches. FFS get a grip. All this doom-wallowing is disgusting. Spending 600m on a world cup winning team and ending up lower half of the table is bad enough. We have to face it as it is, no need to talk it up or down. There are even harsher times ahead for this club but we will not be relegated in the forseeable future. Second, while he is obviously not a good coach and the wrong person at the wrong time for the job this is by no mean Lamps's fault only. He is clearly out of his depth and unable to turn things around but the problems we have do indeed predate him. Lampard should get his share of blame for the poor recent results and craven lineups but he doesn not deserve to be singled out as a scapegoat for the crisis we have been in for months. If there is one person to bear this responsibility it is Boehly. He storms into the dressing room and plays little emperor, buys shit players till the chaging room bursts, hands out crazy contracts, fires competent staff and hires amateurs. Lampard took the emergency call to help his club - foolish enough but noble nonetheless. As clueless a coach as he might be he still deserves our respect as a true blue and as our best ever player.
-
While I think from Nags point of view it makes sense to turn us down as the job would come too early for him, he would be mad to join spuds instead. Honestly I d rather explain some yank amateurs how football works than be enchained by stingy Levy
-
It’s maybe the one thing that drives me mad the most. For top quality players in high demand you gotta overpay on wages to get them to join esp when they are already high earners at a big club. Granted. But like with Kepa we were literally the only suitors willing to pay the transfer fee for Cucu and you can not tell me he would have rejected 100k pw. In fact he would have bitten our hand off. The incompetence of our new owners is just out of this world

Here we go good night fellas
-
Now Kai with his mandatory weak shot
-
Ref not sending off real player pope still catholic
-
Would not put it past boehly to break the bank for a signing that is just sufficiently stupid
-
I think today real are letting us play and not pressing like in Madrid
-
He had ages on the ball as well. Even his first touch was okay. That has to be going into the top corner
