What we can learn from liverpool is that the key to modern football is speed. Quick legs, quick feet on the ball and a quick mind. Most of our players have none and our manager needed 7 months to realize Alonso is shit.

Lol I like how the reporter openened the interview with Kovac with: first K.O home.-tie in CL and already lost. How do you comment this?
-
everyone building up bayern as if they were still a force. The truth is Liverpool were comfortable throughout the whole fixture and the result is narrower than it appear. I never had doubted that the Bauern would go out vs liverpool and called it as soon as the fixture was drawn. Bayern are back in Euroepan mediocrity which is exactly where they belong.
-
the best is the faces of Hoeneß and Rummingge
-
yesss. home the Bauern go.
-
what a shit game salah has had. should have jsu tpassed to mane or gone down the bottler. Bayern are lucky to only have conceded 2 goals in the fixtures. The tie could have been already killed in the first with te chances liverpool had

I know, Marx and I went to the same school, literally
-
they beat Arsenal 10-2 and 7-1 on aggregate thereafter too
-
they won the CL the year after, beating barcelona 7-1 on aggregate
-
we had some help tho
-
was thinking the same. how slow has he become? also robertson with an alonso game, wandering around the channel of bayenr box but nowhere to be found defensively

well the Jury is still out. Witht the western democracies demloishing themselves, I could see more exits, Italy could be next. Especially if Britain does the unthinkable and actually succeeds after Brexit. Sounds unlikely but Britain achieved it before. First after the Norman Invasion and a century of civil wars, the Plantagent consolidated their power and made England the most powerful Christian Nation for most of the late Middle-Ages. After they savaged their own country in the Roses War they needed just 100 years to become a global power again and built the largest empire the world has ever seen. I would not put it beyong them to bounce back once again. It is somehow the destiny of that strange nation to fuck up themselves in positions of strengths fall into depression only to rise again from the ashes from the unlikeliest of circumstances. Thinking about this, Chelsea are a very English club in this regard.

lol at least Matip stole the goal from leva. poor poor defending from robertson. liverpool will still win

honestly i have no idea. the only thing that could have an impact are work permit issues.but i think the fa will do everything possible to keep the status quo. could be a messy transition period tho That being said i am also sceptic if it really happens. the parliament will just reject any deal and also reject a no deal brexit so to call it off is probably the only solution left. The whole brexit is just madness. the stupidity to call on a referendum for this at all and then to exit euroep when britain actually is one of its main beneficiaries
-
testament to the supeirority of the Premier League. would not surprise me if both winners of the euro competitions were English. Brexit will fuck up the new British dominance anyway^^
-
would be nice keeping ManU and Tottenham occupied. Would fancy Juve to beat ManU tho
-
haha thanks. I am a multi-tab junkie, usually have like 50 of them open, slows the shit even out of my 32gb ram^^
-
@Vesper do you have nice stream for the bayern game? The usual suspects (easysport, totalsportek, vipleagu) are all lagging on my pc

yup i have to find out what they are feeding the strikers here in frankfurt, esp with the late goals. I currently live around and have been to a few games. Of the 3 Eintracht strikers Haller, Jovic, Paciencia, there are always 2 on fire this season. The crowd in the Commerzbank Arena is amazing and they really push their team, esp in crunch time and they create lots more chances at home than away. From my perspective Haller suits us better probably even though Jovic is arguably the better finisher (only 3 goals this year so far i think tho). But Jovic has the BAtshuayi habit of scoring in clusters vs shit teams. Hallers goals are more smoothly distributed. He is more physical, more athletic. Basically a nippy Giroud with better finishing.

tbf of Mikhytaryans goals and assists 5 and 5 came in Europa league qualification 1st adn 2nd round vs clown teams. Bruno FErnandes is playing in Portugese league, hardly comparable to Premier League. Also Fernandes is hardly a pure MF like Lamps. He has played as second striker (e.g. game vs Feirense). Still would take him in our team instantly.
-
I don't see why giving him a 1 year extension is a bad decision. He has his flaws and is far from a world-class defender now but he surely has earned the extension, is vital for how the team plays as he is the only accurate long-range passer in the team. Even without the deferral we are short of CBs and it would have been unwise to let him go.
-
Seen Schalke's debacle? Not too far off our defeat at the Etihad. And it will be just as bad if we keep this fraud in charge.
-
Still their defence is antique. I trust City to smash Juve on a good day. And to Ronaldo even though he is an obnoxious cunt you have to give him credit for the hard work he put in his body to still be able to perform at this level at 34..still has an ok amount of pace and leap anf most importantly os as good a finisher as ever.
-
They just should have scored. They had the chances despite being battered all the way. Also not conceding 3 would have been a start. Those crosses to ronaldo were defendable
-
Atletico really choked this once again.
