There is no point in even contesting such matches just hand bayern those worthless trophies already.

as long as there is a Kante-Barkley midfield the opponent can recover pretty comfortably without any dangers of their midfield being skipped easily. no idea what jorginho has done. a player who can play quick passes forward is needed to slice through midfields. Jorginho is not perfect at that but surely better than Kante. this will be an absolute grind. Need some Puli magic to win this cos we sure as hell will not put on a commanding performance like vs Liverpool and Everton before the break with that fucking midfield

Arsenal today delivered a blueprint of how to play Wolves. They usually ease themselves into a match so they are always vulnerable to not even get a footin the game. They set exclusively to hit you on the counter vs posession based teams. So you have to absoluely make sure to get enough people behind the ball when they break. go for the ball early when theirpace players are at the ball tho. Dont overcommit players forward and play quickly around their midfield. when you get beind that you will create chances cos their back three is vulnerableand mediocre footballers at that who will be forced to hoof it in the air when pressed.

lacazette clinches it. great finish again. wolves really exposed today. Arsenal just kept their cool and completely shut wolves out of the game. Mustafi even could handle Traore
-
You have to say that this Saka kid has a great attitude.you can see his eyes lighting up whenever he gets near the ball and he commits himself in defence as well even if he is still rough and not always makes the right decision. The goal was very difficult and brilliantly taken.
-
wolves had been terrible until this point, so thorougly deserved.
-
saka with a brilliant goal. nice play from arsenal.
-
nice hattrick for him. surely one of the best players in CS for whatever its worth
-
we should not take the chance of having to win vs wolves. we need them to slip up otherwise they will surely overtake us.
-
look at Rui patricio for the positioning at the corner. he steps out first so he can see if he can reach the corner then readjusts himself on the goalline and then closes the angle on the near post. That is how you do it. Kepa usually stays rooted on the spot or like last time stupidly comes out without checking whats in front of him
-
just as it is in wolves hands if they win all their remaining games.
-
Emi Martinez actually looks a decent goalie so far. decisive, strong reactions and brave.
-
Wolves are lining up with Adama as striker. Really wonder how that pans out. Didnt know he can play LM, LWB, LW and now ST.
-
It depends on the selection. My horror scenario is a 3-4-3 with an Azpi-Rüdiger-Christensen defence and a Barkley-Kante double pivot. I would not even bother watching. I think any selection without Barkley will be fine. But Lamps loves him so much, that some fluke goal vs a shit leicester side will warrant him at least a 5 match run in the first XI. As great as Lampard is influencing the game with his subs and pep talks his starter selection is torrid.

out of all the teams competing against us for 4th and possibly 5th, Leicester is the most likely to drop out altogether. Wolves have an easy fixture list as well. but i think we will finish either 5th or 6th depending on how leicester does bc I can see us slipping at least twice more.
-
I would love that. Arsenal are building the utlimate team of dregs, which I am very supportive of. Willian would be an absolute diamond in that. Imagine him and Cedric Soares defending against all those pacy epl lws.
-
If we fail to completely waltz them and dominate the ball so much they don't get any set pieces or outscore them early we are surely gonna slip up. They are an insanely tall side on average and just need to load the box with their 6'2+ guys and will have free headers all day long.
-
Its about the money not the progress. Plus i think we are more likely to leapfrog leicester than prevent being overtaken by manure

I somehow have the feeling that we have a knack of producing youth teams that win stuff at their level but rarely produce worldclass professional footballer afterwards. The closest thing playingin europe top leagues are Boga and Traore, with Christensen, RLC and CHO being some of our less useful squad members.

He is great at dribbling with pace and switching directions. Greenwood looks more to rely in close ball control and skill when dribbling to make up for his lack of pace (he is very quick but not as rapid as rashford). Anyway i would kill for any of utds front 4. It looks like ole is now reaping the rewards of solidifying defence first to allow his attackers the necessary freedom
-
at least they are not fucking tall.
-
saw it coming when they got that freekick. all 4 in free scoring form. If we get havaertz (which we won't) we should try something similar ---------------Werner------------- Puli-----------Ziyech----Havertz Insane firepower and creativity. We should ditch that 4-3-3 given our midfield is not as good as we thought . just mediocrity in depth.
-
they complement each other well. Greenwood is not as quick as Rashford but more technical. both very direct and deadly in front of goal tho.
-
they dont even need sancho when they have martial, greenwood and rashford all on song.
-
omg anohter great goal from greenwood. you have to say they are in awesome form. every shot from them hits top corner
