  1. What I find even more unacceptable is the shit message it's giving to the dressing room! It doesn't matter how shit you play - you won't get dropped! How the fuck is anybody going to stay motivated? It's just terrible management - I never thought I'd say that :( On the plus side - 3 points and like WHU - last year we would have dropped points, so at least there is some winning mentality growing in the team Nice break now - spend some time getting this stuff sorted out!
  2. This is my main concern on the whole subject I don't believe we have the same manager back, I think Spain really fucked him up Thats what worries me In hope we win the league - I hope he gets this monkey off his back If we don't - God forbid what would happen
  3. On paper City have the easier run in. We have a couple of London derbies and some tough teams - they have Utd and a shite Spurs team I fully expect us to drop points - but if we can do that on a par with City then we should be champions
  4. Utd have the tougher fixtures for sure, followed by Arsenal, City and then us - the QPR and Palace games are a concern. Spurs proved how shit they are yesterday and i can see City beating them I hope UTD turn it on against City and then dip in form against us Hopefully - Sunderland will already be relegated by the time we play them...
  5. Lol nope - just sick of it - made time today (Mother's Day) to settle down and watch us play and it was painful. We couldn't do the basics - simple pass and move Our attacking prowess now boils down to pass to Ivanovic and he will lump it in the box It's just so one dimensional. Yes - we are 6 points clear with a game in hand - I get that But - how can we consistently play so bad - it's just FUGLY football Willian looked good as a number 10 - why not keep him there ? ANY opposing player that runs with the ball just bypasses our midfield with ease - it's really shocking To top it off - thought I'd laugh at the Mancs and Yids - and saw a lesson on attacking, free flowing football! It's no coincidence that suddenly players being played in their favoured positions worked out. So why can't we expirement a little more. The team looks jaded and 'glass half full' - everybody looks fucked off with each other. It doesn't smack of a harmonious squad... We've one a cup, progressed in Europe and sitting at the top of the league - but not one player has a smile on their face !!!!!! I respect Jose - I really do - but there's a fine line between a Leader and a Despot and I'm sad to say I fear he's crossing the line. I'm cool with anybody mocking my posts and calling them 'Aids' (very disrespectful to AIDS victims and sufferers I might add) - but I'm saying it as I'm seeing it. I expected a massive performance, a show of force - desire, passion, hunger and what I saw was not that. I hope we do win the EPL - I would love nothing more than to have this post shoved down my throat come the end of season. I'm just scared that this might be the best it gets - that this is the way we will play forever under Jose - and that - I'm just not cool with, I know be a winner not like Arsenal etc - but there has to be something slightly better than this??? A very troubled supporter
  6. I have always defended him - but Mourinho isn't working for me anymore I don't care about his record - I care about NOW - he just cannot get this group of players to play well consistently He is picking the same players over and over again and expecting a different outcome! Go look up the definition of insanity... Zouma should have started OSCAR should not be allowed on the pitch Ivanovic is a fucking shit RB and between him and Cahil 99% of the reason we concede - Azpi and Luis are much better options. Long shots have all but disappeared from our game - just one fucking long shot today could have had us 2 extra points. But no - we dick around with the ball and lose it cheaply. Our subs look like they have no idea when they come on - that's poor integration - just what the fuck are we doing in training? It isn't attacking or defensive work! I'm sorry - but our football is shit - and our manager is stubborn prick who refuses to adapt or change. I'm genuinely concerned about our present and future under him now. Did Southampton have one shot on goal in the second half?
  7. I'm not that bothered to be honest - our main focus is now the league and we have no further distractions The team is obviously not where Jose wants it - so let's try and win the league and see what the summer brings The knee jerk reactions are crazy Yes, Ramires is a bad passer, yes OSCAR has been shit for a while - why are you all acting surprised? This team has still achieved more than last season - so it's progress! Football ain't easy - progress is to be applauded. You can blame the manager as much as you want - but the players have to shoulder the blame just as much. Some nights you can't win regardless of your team, that's life - deal with it and move on. Onwards and upwards and there's always next season!
  8. Dude you are embarrassing yourself - this was a two times player of the year... Agree with you 100% on current players though
  9. Uh? we have Saints, Hull, Stoke and QPR - apart from Hull none of the others are 'gimmes' Whereas City have Burnley, WBA, Palace and United - I'd say easier fixtures except UTD Southampton was a tough game this season, Stoke will be a bruiser too and QPR is always more ridiculous as a Derby match.. If we can get 10 points out of those fixtures - I will be happy, I just hope UTD have the performance of their lives and beat City - so they only take 9 points...
  10. Go back a couple of years - this guy was the new messiah and we must sign at all costs! Now after almost a season in the EPL in a very shit team - he's regarded as a rubbish player! Name one United player that looks good consistently? I think you are all a bit quick to write this guy off - in a decent team he could definitely be prolific. For £20million and reasonable wages - I'd take him!
  11. Exposed? What do you mean? Mata wasn't a Jose type player - that doesn't mean he isn't a GOOD player! As for chasing money - he wanted first team football - how can you criticise a player that wants that? Some short memories here on a great player for us - saddens me how ex players are treated!
  12. It's a shame - he has two great feet and scores some good goals. I just don't see him working here - maybe Italy? It's a crying shame though. On his day he was unplayable
  13. He's just super impressive whatever way you look at it... But way too much money
  14. Yeah because he was always LEFT BACK in the dressing room Sorry! Really old school football joke
  15. Hey Lionsden is entitled to his opinion Is Aguero better technically - yes But does Aguero have the same physical presence - no It just depends on what you want to see in a striker. I'm not sure Aguero would work here, like I'm not sure Costa would cut it at City, although their move for Bony, could be argued as a step towards a physical striker... We can't all have the same opinion - having somebody question your belief is not a bad thing, don't cheapen it by resorting to insults - analyse their arguments and construct a suitable response. That's what I'm going to try to do
  16. Mason? I'm sure this is a joke I'm not getting
  17. As an England fan - who's turning 39 years old this year - I've seen my fair share of 'messiahs' Don't get me wrong - I would absolutely fucking love it if Kane became a beast of an England forward - but - I want to keep calm and not overhype the situation. The fate of the lad is in Woys hand in Internationals and Woy is a stubborn man - he might persist with Rooney as the striker It's great that this is happening and gives our Euro chances a real shot in the arm I just hope he stays grounded and doesn't follow the Adebayour route.
  18. Millwall of course They're the mighty Lions of London and they live at the 'New Den'
  19. One season wonder? A very old saying of one swallow doesn't make a summer... Kane whilst impressive needs to back this up over a few seasons for me. Im not saying he's a bad player - but can he consistently perform. Right now I would keep Costa. he has a winning mentality - Kane is still young. A 2 year older Kane at a consistent level - I could easily change my opinion However, this is a pipe dream - Spurs would never sell to us.
  20. Anybody watching Villa - would probably agree they need firing up. I think it's way too early to judge him, sure he wears his heart on his sleeve - but I don't think thats a bad thing. Time will tell....
  21. Delighted with the improvement this season, if he can improve again for next season, he will be truly unstoppable! Sure his final third decision making is wonky sometimes - but the good thing is that he's getting there to make the decision. It will come with time - I have no doubt of that, maybe Didier as a striker coach will give him some tips - I still love Didiers goal against Liverpool, control turn and boom 25 yd screamer When Hazard adds consistent finishing to his game - he will be up there with Messi and Ronaldo
  22. Yeah I'm sick of the Salah stuff as well - he was given a chance, he failed - better to end it quickly than have another Torres situation! People calling for youth integration are crazy, you need a winning team first, with a strong winners mentality and then integrate youth. Sure Jose doesn't have the best record in bringing youth through, but show me a manager with a better trophy haul! Patience is the key here The younger lads will get their chance - but I'd rather be winning trophies and sitting at the top - than praised for youth integration and winning fuck all. At least Jose is being honest and saying it as it is. You think Roman cares who plays - the dude just wants to win! If Jose doesn't do this, things get difficult. Winning breeds success, success breeds money and then pressure - it's not going to get that much easier to integrate the youth, but once we have a settled team, we can rotate a few players to build experience. The FIFA and FM generation have trouble correlating real life vs a simulation engine
  23. For every Salah there's a David Luiz, Juan Mata or Lukaku Ups and downs of the xfer game - you can't win them all Some players can / cannot handle the big time pressure - maybe right player, wrong time... Or the Italian league is shit
