Agree wholeheartedly and before this turned into a forum war (which we are all guilty of - mea culpa) - these where the exact points being raised. I have stated I want Jose gone - not because I don't appreciate what he has done for us a club - but because the current Jose IS NOT the Jose I remember. What we have is a bitter, twisted individual that lacks charisma, lacks foresight and doesn't really want to change anything. The difference to his first stint is that we had players with big personalities - proven winners - and they got it! The world has changed, the players are more sensitive? now and the 'siege' mentality doesn't appear to work. Therefore he needs to adapt. That's the issue for me - he is not adapting in a positive way - he's getting more negative and blowing up everything - almost like a scorched earth policy! The club have been great TBH - they have stuck by him - he cannot fault them - so now he needs to drop the chip on his shoulder and knuckle down and figure this out! If the team are complaining that the football they play is shit - ask them how they want to play and 'compromise' - life is all about compromise !!! Get the players to invest in the system and share the rewards - don't sulk and throw them under the bus. There will be times when the players can attack as they want and times when Classic Mou park the bus tactics are applicable - be a little more relaxed and try this shit out. Not transfer list anybody who dares to question your approach. He's a football manager - not Stalin! So that's my 2p on the subject. If he can change - I would love him to stay, if he can't - I'm sorry but I will be glad to see the back of him !

I loved their analysis (Jamie, Frank and Gary) It really resonates that both Mikel and Ramires do not have the footballing brain to be playing where they are. This infatuation with defence has cost us more points. The players are the wrong type of people to be trying to protect a 1-0 lead Therefore - Jose is at fault - you can't have a cow and expect it to climb a tree like a squirrel! Similarly playing players out of position also fucks up the balance. I think it was @zolayes who mentioned it's not just one thing - but lots of little things that make the difference - I completely agree We have the most shots conceded against in the league - that is shocking It stems from Ramires/Mikel out of position, then Cahil and Terry continually backing off players. We've gone defence crazy to the point it's now punishing us. The team needs to adopt a more balanced approach. Jose CAN change this - but will he?

I'm taking it a bit tongue in cheek mate. I'm sure some stupid things have been said in the heat of the moment - and they should stay behind closed doors But I genuinely hope the players are raising the poor attempts at attacking play. Ordinarily - I would be apopletic with rage. But - the source is a friend of a dudes cat heard an owl whisper that a player said this! Also it depends entirely when the comment was made - how many people make throw-away comments daily that they don't mean. It could have been immediately after a loss! He IS NOT fired yet - he could still change this situation around - but he won't - you know that and I know that - that's the most frustrating thing about this situation... Grab the players in a room - you WANT attacking football - come on then show me how you would defeat 'opponent' - let the players do the talking, then he can use his tactical brain (which he does have in abundance - it's just stuck on ultra defence) - to pick holes and then between them come up with something more realistic. Then TRY IT!!! There's literally nothing to lose at this point! But I just know it won't happen and that's the biggest tradegy...
