The attitude of Chelsea fans towards Bats is realy funny.
He flopped here, but people love to go pointing out how shit he was, and how average he is now and only scoring against poor teams, trying to downplay his good loan etc.
Probably just because some are butthurt he flopped and wanted to get rid of him and obviously they dont want to be wrong, so they bring all the negative stuff about Bats, allthrough he is doing ok.
Then you will see these same fans bandwagon over players like Barkley or Drinks when they have one good game.
Im not saying Bats is now world class, but for fuck sake cant we all appreciate he has good loan at BvB and be happy about it?
I guess same fans who shit over Bats will cry if he bangs goals for another PL side. Its hard to imagine now, but same was about Salah and look the situation now.
Bats isnt realy smart striker, but he has athleticism and certainly very good finish. I think he can make it in top team within next 2 years if he plays regular football.

Conte handled the Costa situatiom exactly how he should have, like a boss.
Costa was acting like a child. He got put in his place and instead of acting like a man and taking it on the chin (like Luiz) he sulked until he got his move.
The sad thing is with this club is that it doesn't take much to lose the dressing room. At the first sign of a season going bad the players act like a bunch of girls and start throwing their toys out the pram.

Can't believe people actually think Hazard is waiting for Courtois to sign a new contract. They were both clearly joking.
I highly doubt Hazard is signing any contract until the summer. Not unless he's 100 % sure Real isn't coming for him in the summer.

    On the whole loyalty talk.
Sorry but i always find it funny when supporters get on their high horse when talking about player loyalty.
How many wanted Hazard gone in the 2015-2016 season. How many were spouting insults at Hazard that season. He was even booed at one stage of the season.
This was a player that had been key in getting us the title the year before. So where was the loyalty there ?
Easy to talk about player loyalty. Simple fact is supporters and clubs aren't any better. We all look after our own self-interest. If a players isn't of value anymore to a club or supporters they'll discard him like that.

The club has no direction, if we had direction we would be talking about 1 player to complete the squad, we are talking about 4-5 with a week to go of the season.
The deluded people will talk about a whole month of the window to go, the realist will tell you we could be a bad start away from being out of the race by 31st August.

I got no problem with his attitude. That tackle was full of work rate, passion and commitement. Yes, sometimes playing like that will get you sent of, but I prefer that then to have him jogging around waiting for our team to win a ball. And it was for a yellow card anyway.
I have a conspiracy theory, red card was given in order to increase probability of penalties so they could be tested.

Had a great game, but let's not get carried away. I feel like this forum has a tendancy to overrate any youngster that is half decent.
Hopefully he will have chances this season to play.

just leave, i dont want him to disrupt the harmony in the dressing room with his toxic antics, enough is enough, thanks for all your contribution and for the 2 Premier League titles and League Cup, but no one is bigger than the club, he showed a huge lack of class and respect towards Chelsea. Goodbye

I'm open to it, why? It's simple, Conte has proved in one season he can get the best from so called 'Limited' players, after all some are calling Lukaku limited so lets go from the base point. The lads 24, a physical monster, not even the complete striker but should that stop us buying him? No, because no matter who or what age you are in life everyone can improve. People keep beating Lukaku with the same old stick and to some extent I agree, but I'm open to see him work under Conte, but if your looking for short comings in a bloke don't use it as a blind guide please, Costa is nowhere near the complete article, he's shite in the air and his attitude at times fucking stinks, not to mention his little dicky fit in January.
If Rom comes here he will will improve under a world class coach and in a top class side with top class players. He's never had it or been allowed it, because a certain Mourinho did what he did with KdB and Luiz.

    87 Goals in 156 Games.
24 Years old with 25 goals this past season
Physical Monster with room to improve his skills.
Scoring goals in a big league with a mid table team
    Love for our team.

What exactly are people so upset over if we sign him? This reminds me of the Luiz signing all over again, people are complaining and bashing him then he was one of our most important and best performing players. Clearly Conte wants him so IF we do end up signing him instead of hoping he plays bad and thinking you were right get on board and hope he is an overwhelming success!

My thoughts exactly. It's 6/10 now before the EL Final. It'll probably be a done deal should United win it, no deal should Ajax batter them.
I for one would go for him if United fail to win the EL. Especially now with the Alexis Sanchez rumours gathering pace that he's joining Bayern.
Griezmann's clearly opened to a change and to be fair I think it'd be a perfect fit for this Conte setup. He's also coming from a similar training and tactics regime.

You're perhaps missing that 8 out of 10 players can't highlight any other club they'd feel prouder to represent; Zidane is his idol, everyone from here to Australia knows he'd win more trophies there and as a respectable sportsman, that's logically what he'd chase. The fact that the quality of life is better there regardless of his family being settled here, the fact it's right beside France of his native tongue, the fact he'd finally have the marketing power to be considered the best in the world - if that's what he wants.
He might stay, he might go. But to presume that he'll 'clearly' do either is silly. And to disregard the points I just highlighted is silly. To not find it fishy that he hasn't just said 'Madrid? That was my dream club - until I moved to Chelsea.' is fishy.
A player tells you proudly when they want to be at your club for life, either through their words or actions. In our current team, those consist of - Cahill, Terry, Moses, and Kante I'm sure. Before, from Drogba to Cole to Terry to Lampard, we had clear messages of - 'WE WANT TO STAY. FANS, YOU BETTER DAMN CONVINCE ROMAN NOT TO MAKE US LEAVE, WE LOVE IT HERE.' There is none of that from Hazard. He goes with the flow; and if the flow means Madrid knocking at his door, obviously he's going to entertain it.
I think there's more signs in the universe that he'll end up leaving us while retaining incredible value, than there are signs he'll be staying here 'forever' like our old guard, dropping in value, then being shipped off to some small team. I mean which story reads better? And as humans, aren't we all trying to write the most incredible story we can for our lives? I'd rather tell my grandkid I played for Real Madrid than for Chelsea, even if I had a better bond with CFC. Why do you think Suarez happily left Liverpool for Barcelona? Why did Bale leave Tottenham for Madrid? Why did Ronaldo leave Manchester for Madrid? Answer me why, other than those being absolutely shit cities (as is London, truly), and then answer me why Eden is different. Because he's more carefree & less intense? For me, those ingredients are a recipe for a lack of passion - which is fine - just don't expect it to be there!

In the end if he leaves, we will have giant job replacing him. There is not a single player available that can replace Eden.
Hopefuly he stays. BUT if there comes day he leaves, the club better fork shit load of money for at least two of Griezmann, Dybala and Bernardo.
That said, here is what I think about Eden and Chelsea. He surely is good enough for Real or Barca. He would be one of best players there IMO. He is also by mile best Chelsea player. But does that mean we should sell him? We are not a selling club. Robben and Ribery were absolute class but they didnt leave Bayern. Same with Aguero at city. We are on verge of second PL title in 3 years, its great achievement. I have no doubt we will do well in europe once we get final pieces to this squad. We pay players well, they live in London and we have amazing manager. We will move to bigger stadium in few years. The project we have is alright.
There is no need for us to bow to Real. All this rumours about Eden leaving shouldnt make fans scared. Because by any means, our board should keep Eden here.
ONLY reason is if Eden pushes for move and that will be only if he is not satisfied with his current life. And with all we can offer, if he still aint happy, then obviously he will leave, but that says alot about our club position too. If we cant keep players like Eden then we are doing something wrong. In that case then every great player will once leave us and join spanish giants. Sure Real is huge prestige and how can you refuse it, but Ribery stated once he is more than happy in Bayern, even before they were so good. His love for the club was bigger than desire to play for more prestigious club.
Its now up to Eden if he likes our club more than prestige of playing for Real.

    In the last 5 seasons
    Messi (2012/2013) -  33 key passes 12 assists
    Hazard (2012/2013) - 54 key passes 11 assists
    Messi (2013/2014) -  75 key passes 18 assists
    Hazard (2013/2014) - 85 key passes 7 assists
    Messi (2014/2015) - 55 key passes 7 assists
    Hazard (2014/2015) - 90 key passes (!) 9 assists
    Messi (2015/2016) - 57 key passes 16 assists
Hazard (2015/2016) - 63 key passes 3 assists (his worst season ever)
Messi (2016/2017) -  55 key passes 7 assists (and counting)
Hazard (2016/2017) -  54 key passes 5 assists (and counting)
In total in the last 5 seasons:
Messi has 275 key passes and 60 assists
Hazard has 346 key passes and 35 assists
This is despite Messi playing with much better players who score from the chances he creates, turning his key passes to assists and also being one the set-piece takers for his team, which Hazard isn't. So Hazard is creating all this chances without set pieces!
Hazard is more creative than Messi and is truly one of the most devastating creative players in world football despite not being a pure playmaker. If he played for Barcelona in this time period, god knows how many assists he'll have had!
Next, I'll show how Hazard right now is a better dribbler than Messi ever was in his prime. A lot of myths in football.

If my understanding of Eden is correct, that he's a quiet man who loves his family and just wants to enjoy his football and not get caught up in all the bulllshit we fans do, and so he's likely to enjoy staying at chelsea a long time so long as we remain competitive, then performances like last night will and should earn him the love he deserves from our fans through thick in thin.  immense performance last night in spite of all of the targeted attacks.  Stomped on ribs, bloodied mouth, stepped on fingers, constantly hacked down, and he didn't change the way he played for a second.

Meant banned from posting on this thread, which obviously was a figure of speech, not literally, as people can't even be banned from one thread.
I couldn't keep reading through the many pages I was behind and when I skipped to the last page there were people nitpicking again.
I just find it to be extremely spoiled and spoiling for people to put everything under the microscope.
I came to post about the important win today, about finally giving Cesc a start in a match Matic had no point starting, to say I'm so happy and relieved for having him, a world class manager in every aspect of the job.
But I was deflected by a few posts and decided to vent.
If people can vent about nonexistent mistakes he made today and in other occasions, I can vent about the nonexistent need of said things, even if this is a forum.
