The 18-year-old Kroos is seen as a top prospect in Europe, and the Germany Under-21 international is being linked to a January loan to Stamford Bridge in the domestic press. Bayern boss Jurgen Klinsmann has stated he would not be against sending the teenager on loan abroad. After this some people want to put news in the newspapers, not me.”
  11. Chelsea's Ben Sahar could be on his way to Championship Crystal palace. Palace boss Neil Warnock has admitted making an approach to The Blues regarding the Israel international. The 19-year-old is currently on a six-month loan deal at Portsmouth, but has failed to make an impact on the South Coast and will be sent back to Stamford Bridge in January. "We know Sahar is not playing at Portsmouth, he is someone we've asked about," he told the Croydon Advertiser.

  14. Chelsea chairman Bruce Buck has insisted that big stars won't be joining the club in the January transfer window. The Londoners, who lead the Premier League, have spent big over the last few years but Buck has warned supporters not to expect any major talent to join in the New Year. He said: 'It’s hard to get good players then because, one, they might not be available and, two, they may be cup-tied. 'There’s no point in bringing in players who aren’t as good as what you already have.' 'I think it’s unlikely we’ll have much activity in January.'
  15. Birmingham City boss Alex McLeish is planning a bid for Chelsea striker Scott Sinclair. The Mirror says McLeish is eager to sign Sinclair on loan in the new year as he bids to take Blues back to the Premier League. Sinclair, 19, has not made a league start under Luiz Felipe Scolari and will be permitted to leave for the Championship - with Wolves and Crystal Palace also in the hunt.
  16. Chelsea goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini is being linked with Tottenham. With Spurs boss Harry Redknapp in the market for a new keeper after losing confidence in Heurelho Gomes, Italian sources say Cudicini is under consideration for the January market. Cudicini remains second-choice at Stamford Bridge behind Petr Cech.
